I called them because of their stellar reviews on here. Their customer service was so upbeat and welcoming, I was super excited to have found this company and thought my husband could use them for some of his properties if needed as another option to his regular technician (who wasn't available to come for another couple days). The guy came out and, still, very nice, but looked at my air conditioning unit which hadn't blown cold air in five excruciatingly hot days and came back to tell me the amps were running high and I'd need to replace the compressor for $6,000 or may as well replace the whole unit since it was on the older side for between 6-7K. Up until this incident, though, we hadn't had any problems. That's a lot of money and if I didn't already have this other technician lined up, the torture of the heat would have made me agree. But, since I didn't really know this company and have had experience with companies who charged more than necessary, I decided to wait for the two days and get a 2nd opinion just in case....and I'm am so glad I did. The other technician came and found the problem. It was a lever on the compressor that someone had broken and because we had been running the unit so often, it got hot and melted the broken piece which then caused the compressor to run high. So, the 2nd technician ran to the hardware store to replace the broken part and was back to fix it for a couple hundred bucks. I am now sitting in a cool house, thank god. So, the AirWorks tech wasn't wrong. The amps were running high but he didn't diagnose why and fix the source of the problem, instead wanting me to, understandably, spend a small fortune with his company to put us out of our summer misery. Regardless, I think that's irresponsible and would never call this company again, even if their customer service is so nice. read more

This is the second time I have used AirWorks Solutions. I have four four ton units that are over thirty years old, so I try to get them tuned up before the late summer heat kicks in. I like it cool. Chris was the tech this year. Chris did a thorough job and walked me through his findings. Not a surprise that there was a list of things that Chris recommended that we address to keep these AC units running smoothly. Once I signed off, Chris completed all of the items on the list in a reasonable amount of time. I would recommend to others and plan to use them again next year. read more

So i recently had another company come out because i was recommended AirWorks, but they couldn't get to me immediately. Hindsight...I know all too well if a company is quality then that will reflect with just how available they are. Good things are worth the wait and that was the case with Spencer!! The first guy we had out was in and out in 20 min. He quoted us 14k and I still had to put my 15 month baby to sleep in 80 degree heat. The guy even left the unit unplugged in our attic! Not the case with Spencer. He got on the case right away. He was very knowledgeable, and friendly. It was quite obvious that he really cared about fixing the problem. He spent an hour and a half fixing, and diagnosing. He was very, very thorough with his explanations. He really put himself in our shoes by giving us a breakdown of order of importance. What to fix first and when. He even caught that we have a dangerous furnace which we were oblivious too!!! I really appreciated him being a reasonable guy, that isn't just trying to rip us off when we were desperate for relief. After $135....not $14k...I am sitting here writing this in a very comfortable 70 degree home, and I have so much less stress knowing my baby will be sleeping comfy, and cool tonight. My wife and I had a problem with our HVAC system. It was 42 years old and on its last legs or leg. I contacted 3 different AC vendors and got a bid at 24 thousand, 17 thousand and AirWorks at 14 large. I will skip the freak out with the first company when we decided to give them a pass. Really nasty. AirWorks sales guy and gal gave a fairly low profile presentation and the fact a young woman was there (she's new and learning) helped after our prior get together with vendor 1. There are a number of considerations when buying an AC unit and it's confusing. We decided on a modest 2022 unit that is light years better than our antique GE monster outside the bathroom window. The biggest hurdle was getting the asbestos ductwork out and down the road. A crew showed up with moon suits, created a tunnel of sorts with negative pressure and hauled it all off double bagged. If you live in Leisure Village you have asbestos duct work in your original HVAC system. We passed on additional attic insulation, a gold standard AC compressor and got a reasonable priced unit that works wonders. We did get an "ionizer" gizmo that charges dust particles and has them fall to the ground to be vacuumed up. Wife swears that house dust has disappeared. We spent a bit extra on a WiFi thermostat that we still haven't downloaded and had the grids replaced. Get the grids. They do help. Good luck. read more

BUYER BEWARE - AirWorks markets itself as a "Family run. Mom approved." HVAC company. That may be true if your family often grins as it empties your wallet while your mom ignores your calls. To be fair, the work they did was prompt and effective. Unfortunately, at every opportunity, Airworks seems to upsell and overcharge for their services. The $150 "family plan" is also an opportunity for a very nice tech to visit your home and sell you products you probably don't need at shamefully inflated prices. Need a $25 MERV filter? That will be $65. Need a $130 APCO UV bulb changed? That will be $600. Got insulation in your attic? They'll sell you more for $5000. The good news is, you don't have to use AirWorks. Because there are many other options in the area. In my opinion, better options where the people are just as nice. But they're also honest. And responsive. And they charge fair prices. And they take the time to explain the equipment, the work and the process to their customers. This shouldn't be exceptional. But it is. And my negative interaction with AirWorks made that starkly clear. I speak from experience. I'm a homeowner who cherishes the rare example of a well-run business that takes care of its customers instead taking advantage of them. Unfortunately, AirWorks failed to meet that standard. But I'm happy to say I found another option that not only met but exceeded that standard (though Yelp review guidelines prevent me from sharing that option's information here). If you are a homeowner seeking HVAC service, I hope you find a similarly superior alternative to AirWorks. Good luck! read more

Bill Grissom was our service tech. he diagnosed and fixed our problem and was here under an hour. Very pleasant technician who really knows his stuff. Walked us through the set up of our new thermostat, and made sure we were comfortable with everything before we left. I cannot recommend Bill enough and AirWorks is a great company. This is our second time using Airworks to install air conditioning and heating. The first time was in our townhouse 5 years ago. Installation was fast and everyone was professional. When we bought our new house (built in 1962) we knew we needed to replace the original heater. Once again Airworks didn't disappoint. They came in and quoted us for asbestos removal, all new duct work, insulation, and a new heater and AC. They were the best price. They hired a company to remove the asbestos but all the other work was done by them. I can't remember everyone that worked on our house (I believe it were several teams), but everyone was was professional, on time and dedicated to do a wonderful I'm not one to write reviews but this is an honest, trustworthy and professional company and I recommend them to anyone looking to replace or repair their HVAC. read more

I was given many recommendations to call AirWorks ny numerous individuals on Nextdoor but oh what a scary call that was! I did not get a human it was an AI and that was super scary - First time ever speaking with an artificial operator and there was no getting a straight answer. I'm sure this company may be great but this may not be the one for me - I have 3 units and needs a more human approach. Maybe this is a way of the future but definitely not user friendly and doesn't draw me in to have confidence in this company. I've been debating on writing my thoughts on my experience with Airworks Solutions because I had such a great experience when working with the tech who came to my house. (Nader) He was humble, kind, and I knew he was an honest man. He is the only reason Airworks even deserves a single star. I've trusted his input more than I have ever with a previous tech (and I'm a cynic). On the other hand, I had consistently abhorrent experiences with the office staff. My main interaction was with Kate, but I don't remember her job title. All I know is that when my wife heard the way Kate spoke to me, she was outraged at how condescending, rude, and inarticulate she was. She decided to use curse words with us during the conversation. Kate insulted my wife's intelligence and talked over her consistently. Her tone was that of a know it all middle schooler. The audacity to treat a customer coming for help in such a way is mind blowing. My wife kept crying after the phone call & I've been angry ever since. I don't know how such an honest and kind man could even work for somebody who behaves like that. I've reached out to all of my friends with houses to RUN from Airworks Solution. Family run? Mom Approved? Are you sure? All I wanted to say to her was "Do you kiss your mom with that mouth?!", but felt it was best not to push her temper in case of whatever else she had in store for us. I called Airworks because my AC compressor and fan was not switching on. I had had found the capacitor to be bad but wanted someone to come out to determine what caused it to go bad. The technician was very polite and knowledgeable, he thoroughly explained what the problem was, and gave several options of corrective action. He wanted to make sure that I fully understood my options so that I could make an informed decision on how to proceed. He never pressured me, or try to upsell it just wanted to make sure that we will be satisfied with the end result, I highly recommend the company and was very impressed with the technician and the ethics that he displayed and getting our system running properly. I've never been more dissatisfied with a repair company and their concern for their customers. Unbelievably friendly on the phone, and I do mean unbelievable. Stay away. Tech showed up Monday at 5:55 pm of 2 to 6 pm service window but, after after calling his manager, said it was too late to perform $700 diagnostic cut and isolation test and office would call me about when they could do it, then let slip his manager just assigned him an additional call to make that evening. Then on reschedule 4 days later, after telling me I was at the "opening of the 12 to 5 window, likely at 12:30", repeatedly kept pushing back arrival time from 12:30 to 2:20 to "maybe 5:30", but how would they have time to do the service they didn't have time for so late in the day earlier in the week? I called another company who came out, identified a leaking schrader valve, replaced it, pressure tested, and charged system in two visits in the same afternoon. wow. ​ read more

They arrived only to try and sell us a modification to the system without diagnosing the actual cause of the issue.
