Unfortunately, after the installation, I discovered that most of it wasn't working correctly. The backup camera wasn't connected at all, and when I reached out for help, the installer stopped responding. At that point, I was out the money I had paid--including a tip--and had to find someone else to fix it before moving across the country. One of the main reasons I purchased this system was for safety during my cross-country drive. Since the Bluetooth phone connection wasn't working, I was forced to hold my phone against my chest under my seatbelt while driving--not safe and certainly not legal. To make matters worse, several installers refused to even look at my Android-based unit. They told me those systems are usually installed incorrectly and rarely work properly. Thankfully, they were wrong. I took my car to Custom Car Concepts, and from the moment I arrived, the experience was completely different. Mike got me in right away, properly installed the backup camera, and made sure everything else was working exactly as it should. Did I have to pay to have it fixed? Of course. But the price was more than reasonable, and the work was completed quickly and professionally. To say I was impressed--and relieved--would be an understatement. This is absolutely the place to go if you need car audio or electronics work done correctly. I can't thank Mike and the team enough for helping me out when I really needed it.

I first used Revive Auto Care to replace a control arm on my Infiniti QX60. I found them on Yelp, appreciated their positive reviews, and liked that they communicated over text. That repair went well, so when my AC started blowing hot air, I decided to return. They initially charged me $100 for diagnostics and a refrigerant top-off, then told me I needed a new compressor and quoted approximately $1,200. I dropped the vehicle off on Tuesday. By Wednesday and Thursday, they still had not identified the issue, but they continued replacing parts including the compressor, condenser with receiver drier, premium line kit, secondary rear AC expansion valve, blend door actuator, cabin filter, and recharged the AC system. By Friday, the vehicle was still not repaired, and they ultimately determined that the battery was bad and not providing enough amperage to properly run the AC system. They replaced the battery and told me the issue was fixed, which naturally made me question whether all of the previously replaced parts were actually necessary. The total had also increased to approximately $2,500, and at no point during the process was I contacted for approval on the additional repairs and charges. When I picked up the vehicle Friday evening, the AC was still blowing hot air. In addition, the vehicle was revving abnormally both while driving and while sitting in neutral. It is now Tuesday, and my messages have gone unanswered. On Saturday, I brought the vehicle to Infiniti for another opinion. I was told that the AC system had been overcharged by 1.73 lbs of refrigerant, which they said was causing the issues I experienced after picking the car up. I understand that diagnosing AC problems can be difficult and unexpected issues can happen, but the lack of communication, failure to request approval for major additional repairs, and returning the vehicle in worse condition than when it was dropped off made this a very disappointing experience.

Mike and the Airport Auto team are topnotch service providers who are excellent mechanics and very honest. I was told by another mechanic that my car had been in an accident. After a big repair bill, the other mechanic said that my car needed additional front end work that would cost me about $1,000. He told me to bring my car back in about four months. I took my car to Airport Auto instead. After inspecting my car, Mike the owner, called me and asked me to read him my last repair invoice. He said the other mechanic was probably talking about the slightly worn bushings, but he thought that I could safely get another 10,000 miles out of the current bushings. I got my oil changed instead, which is a lot cheaper than the $1,000 I was expecting. WOW--I've never had a mechanic tell me to wait on an expensive repair. Mike and his body shop team have done great work for me on both of our family cars. Our BMW was sideswiped. Mike handled everything with the insurance company and repaired the car with BMW parts, no cheap substitutes, as other shops are likely to do. The car is restored to it's original beautiful face once more! In another matter, a packrat chose to make his home in our Durango. How he managed to carry a half-gallon of birdseed into the lining of the car, I'll never know. Mike stripped the Durango to the metal, cleaned, and disinfected the vehicle top to bottom. Low rental car prices (i.e. $25/day) and good customer service. A part had to be ordered from a dealership, and when the dealership delivered the wrong part TWICE Airport Auto Center staff were genuinely upset that I had been inconvenienced, even though it wasn't their fault. There were a lot of opportunities for me to get ripped off with hidden fees, extra days, additional repairs, etc. but Airport Auto Center only fixed what was broken and delivered my car on the original date as promised. The shop is located on Washington Street, it's definitely worth the hassle to go there and navigate around the light rail. read more

Mike is aware of the differences in the quality of replacement parts and will use the best products available. We referred the owner of the vehicle our teenaged daughter hit in a parking lot to Mike after she had received a quote from her regular shop and Mike did the work for half the cost and the owner was very pleased with the work done.
