I bought a high end airgun from them last December ($1700). It had a bit of a problem with it drooping, so I sent it back to them to look at along with my scope and mounts to make sure it was perfect when it came back. Not only did they work with me and paid the shipping for return to me, they also threw in a set of sportsmatch mounts for my trouble. I worked with Darren there -- he's was very sympathetic and friendly. He made sure I was happy. I would definitely buy from them again if I could afford it. Speaking to other reviews, this is a small brick and mortar store that deals in the high end of the airgun world. From what I gather, like most small businesses, they have a limited staff and just don't have the capacity to handle a huge flow of business. It's unfair at best to compare them to pyramyd air or other big dealers -- it would be like comparing a local fine restaurant to a chain (or a small local store to a walmart). It's apples and oranges. Knowing they are a smaller shop, yes, getting "instant service" was more difficult and their web presence was lacking, but that's not how they run their business. Just call them up and ask -- I had a great experience dealing with them over the phone. No, I am not in any way affiliated with them or am being compensated by them. I am just tired of people flaming smaller shops because they aren't like amazon.com. These guys got me an excellent air rifle and good service. read more

Absolutely amazing the crew that works here. Everyone that is behind the counter is a wealth of knowledge about the world of air guns. Not to mention i found out a few other little goodies about them that I will share at a later date. If i was passing threw again this place is well worth the detour to reach and visit their showroom in person. read more

Very pleased with my experience ordering from AoA! I already knew what I wanted so I didn't solicit much advice from the salesperson. He knew exactly what I was asking for and at the end of the phone call he immediately emailed the invoice. Ordered on a Tuesday and arrival was that Friday. The packing was about the best that I have ever seen, it would have to had to been run over by a truck to damage it (ok, slight exaggeration but you get what I mean). I have had guns arrive from other vendors with incredibly inadequate packing; in one case the barrel was poking right out of the package! I will order again from AoA and would not hesitate to recommend them based on this experience. read more

Buy online you Will be treated better. Spent 20min in the "showroom" with a few other customers i did not rate a simple hello. Even after making eye contact with the so called "salesman" Looking to spend between 120-170$ today couldn't due to lack of customer service. Took my money elsewhere and would suggest you to do the same. I live 3/4 of a mile away and Will never spend a dime there again. The sales guy was telling a few older gentlemen all about how well he can shoot and barely pausing to hear the customers needs. Tried to sell a thousand plus dollar gun to a guy who told him he just wanted a plinking and pest rifle. Take my advice do your own research and buy elsewhere. BUYER BEWARE!! read more

I purchased a used air rifle from Airguns of Arizona . . . It developed a leak about 2 weeks after I received it so I called Airguns of Arizona and told them that I will send it back to them and to let me know how much the repairs will cost . . . Since it was a used air rifle. I can't remember the guy that I spoke with but he said that they stand behind their products, send it in and we will fix it at no cost to you. So I sent it in. They fixed it . . . And now they have a customer for life. These guys are pros! Everyone has a problem now and then but great companies have great employees who handle problems and take care of their customers. This is exactly what Airguns of Arizona did. This bussiness must do so well with their internet sales that they don't need to assist customers in their store. My son and I entered the store and a salesman was assisting a customer. They both went it the back, the customer emerged a few minutes later and left the store. We waited in excess of 10 minutes and although we could see people in the back (behind the counter and through a door) and they did not even acknowledge our presence. No "Hi, we'll be with you in a moment". Two additional customers came in while we were waiting also. I'll take my business elsewhere. read more

The customer service is amazing. The products and services are reasonably priced. The reason why I gave them four star instead of five is: they didn't send all I had purchased in one shipment. Being far very far away from an Airguns store this made it quiet an inconvenience especially after having waited about two month for my air rifle. They had initially told me that they would send me the other items I had ordered but I opted for them to send me everything that was in my invoice at the same time. For some odd reason they did not set my items aside, that would've made it so I could have received all the items at the same time. Now that I have my air rifle it is still useless because I now do not have the necessities to actually utilize my rifle. I just want a legitimate reason as to why they did this. read more

Horrible service via the net, if you can get them on the phone it's just bad service. I ordered parts via their weird online order form and paid for them of course. Never got a confirmation, receipt or anything. After a week or so I emailed them to ask what was up, and emailed them again several day later, never got a response to 3 emails. I called on the phone and they never called back. Called again and got someone who told me that it was out of stock and would come in a couple weeks. A couple weeks later and still no parts and no word so I called again. The parts had come in but were defective and would take 2 more weeks or so. The next day they shipped the parts, maybe defective ones? Very bizarre. There are parts that only they make so I would order again if I had to but would be aware of how they operate. read more

Took my 1972 Benjamin 342 in to be repaired for sentimental reasons. Employee said it would done in in about 3 weeks. They quoted me $120.00 I know you can buy a new one for that....but it was the airgun I grew up with. Well six weeks go by with out a peep from them finally went back in and asked about my airgun. Employee looked up the info and said that they had ordered the incorrect rebuild kit and were still waiting for the new kit. He could not give me a date of when it would be finished. Took my airgun back did some research and sent to Rick's airguns of Yuma. Total cost of shipping and rebuild was $80.00 and it works great. I had previously bought a Diane airgun from them when they were located on Gilbert road and had no issues. read more

Purchesed a used twinmaster, it was rated in very good condition. They told me it did not include any of the oriigianl accessories, and did not come with the original case. I was ok with that, I ask if I could order some of the accessories I needed for it and was told they were out of stock. I noted that they had these items and their accessories on their web site so I decided to order the gun and buy the items else where or just wait till they were back n stock. The purchase was completed and item shipped. While I was waiting for it to arrive I tried to order extra magazines, single shot adapter, upgraded grips, extra seals so could maintain the product. As it turns out the manufacturer of the twinmaster products is no longer in business in the us and has not offers products here for a few years. No parts are available. No accessories are available. I feel the two gentlemen i spoke with on thephone when i was arranging the purchese were not forthcoming as to availability. The gun suffers accuracy wise, it has a nice trigger and mechanically seem sound. I have ask for a full refund. If I can get a refund I will change my rating. I just wanted to take the time to post a quick review, I purchased an air rifle from this store, I live in california, so this was placed over the phone, I had a very wonderful experience with this company, a great service rep by the name of Darren helped me with the process of ordering, he took the time to answer my questions, and made sure I had everything I needed to make my shooting experience the best it could be, after placing my order, Darren let me know when the gun would ship out and when I should expect the gun to arrive, and sure enough the gun came the exact day he said it would, the gun was packaged very well, and thanks to Darren's help and suggestions for my rifle, I had the best time shooting, I would do business again, this company provides great service and carries great products, thank you AOA for providing me a great gun and wonderful service, I look forward to doing business with you again in the future. read more

I ordered a gun from them on wed. they told me over the phone it would ship thursday so I waited for the email that never came. then I checked my account to see that they had already taken my money but still no email from them so I sent them 3 emails which were never answered. then on tuesday of the next week I finally managed to get them on the phone only to be told that it was my fault and I misunderstood what was said on the phone and the guy who took my order got my email wrong (they don't know how to use a reply button I guess). they told me the order would take until thursday of the week after I placed the order to arrive. this is odd because on the same day that I placed this order I also placed an order from pyramyd air and they shipped my order for free and I had it 2 days later. I agree with the last review that airguns of arizona service sucks. I would advise everyone to avoid them if at all possible. read more
