The workers are polite, on time and don't leave a huge mess behind when they leave. Prices are reasonable. It's very hard to find people who will do this sort of work. We had an old bay window in the front of our house. We had talked about getting it replaced with vinyl, but the styles look terrible. Collingswood Hardware removed each pane and replaced it with low-E, caulked, sanded and painted. They made sure it was done the right way. If you have old wood windows, give them a call.

This was already a replacement and now I'm out an additional $70 it costs to just get the blank. If they weren't a small shop I'd be demanding managers and cost reparations for their mistakes. Never even knew Barton was here but I'm glad I found it, instead of waiting a week for Home Depot to ship the part, I got it that day and could continue with my bathroom renovation. Just make sure you walk in the front door past the gate, I walked into the loading dock by accident! Employees are very helpful though, and helped me find my way to the register and find exactly what I needed.

We have spent an extraordinary amount of money in both of these stores. We rarely need to make returns, but we just had a recent instance of having to return 5 bags of polymeric sand because we decided to have the job done by a contractor. I saved the receipt and my husband went to the store to return the sand. It was a VERY UNPLEASANT experience to learn that there is a 90 day window on returns (with receipt) and NO EXCEPTIONS ARE GRANTED FOR A RESELLABLE ITEM such as polymeric sand! Needless to say, we have made our LAST purchase at Lowes and I will be sharing this VERY NEGATIVE experience EVERYWHERE I can.
