While shopping their website I developed some questions, so I gave them a call. The first person to answer the phone was extremely short, unhelpful, and clearly not thrilled to be doing her job. I was eventually transferred to the steel division, where a very nice employee helped me and did her best to help out. She then transferred me to the hardware division, where I experienced the worst excuse for customer service I've heard in a long while. The guy on the other end barely grunted one word responses, yet somehow managed to have enough attitude to fill a book. He was significantly less motivated than the first lady to provide any help at all. Eventually he simply stopped responding to my questions, total silence. I had no option but to hang up and take my (repeat) business elsewhere.

Manager stated on phone, "I could see if it broke in the first or second day, but now the snow is gone and you conveniently return the shovel.". Fact: Philadelphia had two snowstorms in 2026, one early Feb, one late Feb; thus my two uses of said shovel. He finally refunds money, after 3 calls, says I have bad attitude. A 50 lb bag for $5.00 - yes please! A nice employee helped me schlep it on the rolling cart, and up to the register we went. The employees are helpful and knowledgeable about what they have in stock and where it's located. If you ever need help, just yell 'Joe' and your odds of getting help increase drastically. Unlike other Lowe's stores in the area, I've never waited more than a couple minutes for assistance when I push the call for help button. Their inventory is pretty good, a few items always show more in stock than actually are (such as rubber floor trim) because the cashiers seem to ring out entire cases but only scan one piece throwing the inventory levels off. I ding them for not automatically adjusting the prices on clearance/marked down items. You have to tell them at the counter every time. The staff has been very friendly and there's a Chick-Fil-A in the parking lot.
