Got two key fobs for my son's mustang on EBay and went to J.R Flood's and although there was a long wait to get the keys programmed (8 people in front of me on a Thursday afternoon) everything was in working order when it was all done. It was very inexpensive only cost $22 for the services they provided. An excellent deal and overall pleasant experience.! read more

Went there and got a replacement key for my Ford Fiesta, and at home the key stop working , went back and he registered the key again, but the car could not hold the registration, so he gave me my money back without any hesitation, even it didn't work out, it was a good experience. read more

I get all of my vehicle keys made at J.R. Floods Locksmith, and I strongly recommend them to anyone who needs a new key. They're incredibly nice, professional, and helpful... and their prices are far cheaper than the dealership or anyone else claiming they can make a key "cheap." If you need a vehicle key, definitely give J.R. Floods Locksmith a try! read more

I called to have a key repaired/ removed. The woman answered and I said how are you ( being cordial) I was over talked and she said how can I help you. I repeated , how are you she says how can I help you even louder. ......... Ok I said I need to have a key repaired that's stuck in ignition. She immediately says oh , we don't do that. I said do what. She said we don't come out to cars. I said no problem, it's a race car and I can have it brought over on my trailer. She then, in a louder tone says oh we don't do that either. It must be driven in or else we won't do it. I repeated that it can't be driven on the road, or at least tried to. She cut me off and said we won't help you here. If this is the customer service you receive on a regular basis, I don't see how this place is in business. She was RUDE and down right ignorant ! We all have bad days but don't greet potential customers if it's your day. Negative stars are appropriate right now however I can't do that !!!!! read more

Not necessarily near where I live. But definitely worth the 35-40 minute drive to have chipped keys and remote pads for cars to be replaced or purchase additional ones. I've been coming to Floods for roughly 30 years. The people that manage and work here are knowledgeable in every way when it comes to keys, remote pads, and batteries. Service is done on site and finished within minutes. The prices are very affordable. read more

Great place I waited for like 30 minutes and I got my Key Fob done. Highly recommend recommended.

If I could leave a zero star I absolutely would because the experience I had deserves it. One of their servicemen, bald and heavyset, thought it was appropriate to speak to a paying customer disrespectfully and then when told that his behavior was inappropriate he told myself and my husband "if we don't like his attitude we can get the *expletive* out." So nasty and so rude, we will spend our hard earned money elsewhere. Added photo for proof that we were there and how upset I was to leave a review. Spend your money elsewhere, the discount is not worth the discomfort. read more

J. R. Flood Locksmith - Keys & Locksmiths Near Me - Berlin, New Jersey

I have never come across this many rude people at a single business than this place. Their prices might be cheaper than others, but I'll pay for better customer service than give these clowns my business. Forget getting treated with any kind of respect. They think the everyday person is a key expert. read more

Great price! Fast service, was in and out in only 10 minutes. Key fob worked perfectly on my 2015 Chevy Malibu. Highly recommend.

They were able to make a duplicate fob for my Nissan for under $100... Cherry Hill Nissan price was $450... Big difference. Additionally, I did not have to make an appointment or leave my car. I could just wait. read more

Really quick fix on two of my truck key fobs that were not working properly. I fully recommend them price was very reasonable also.

Workmanship and price top notch. The older guy is a miserable old fart, just a really nasty disposition.

Nasty and rude. Improperly installed buttons in key fob originally, we returned 2 times with the same issue. They said it was fixed. Then it started happening again and we returned for the third time and they refused to fix it and said it would be $48. The old man is ignorant and nasty. read more

They do the chipped key for my Honda CRV for $48.00 . Very nice guys in the Berlin Farmers Market or Flea Market. They get it done fast .

Needed a duplicate ignition key for 2004 Acura, something my local locksmith could not handle. Waited in line which moved, was told to move my car to the service curb, they made the key, checked it out in the car and charged me only $42 , a lot less than a car dealer and other locksmiths quoted. So a great experience in all ways! read more

Easiest experience I've had. Went in and explained that I needed a 2nd key fob for my car. A very nice woman told me what I needed to do. I waited outside in my car for a few minutes awaiting a spot to open up. Once it did, I pulled up and headed back in to the shop. Within 10 minutes my key fob was ready and I was on my way home having saved $250-$300! Highly recommend! read more

Absolutely terrible customer service. There is no respect for customers at all. The way they talk to people is rude, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable. They act like because it's their business, they can speak to customers any type of way without consequences. Instead of helping or showing basic courtesy, they come off disrespectful and dismissive. No one should spend their money at a place where they are treated so poorly. I would not recommend this business to anyone. read more

Heavy set bald man was so rude and simply nasty demeanor. Zero customer service. The other gentleman helping him was nice and pleasant. If you can not even be simply cordial and polite then I am not going to trust your workmanship. Walked out and took my business elsewhere. read more

this business has been around for decades and yes, their prices are very low, but what I don't understand is either there been business too long and they're all tired, but I don't care if they give the stuff for nothing. I will never set in this place. it shoulder to shoulder and crammed and we never used to mind but damn these people rude and nasty.. I hear how they talk to people. I think cheap can't be worth these people thinking that because you're in there, and you need to pay less for a set of keys, they can talk to you. I don't care if it is free never again Never never again I don't know why do you stay in business or why people go there but goddamn nasty and rude ignorant they don't care what they tell people like they have no respect and even to talk this way to women read more

STAY AWAY ran by a extremely unpleasant woman with a terrible attitude came in for a simple key noticed she was going to cut a key that was not all metal when I nicely said I would like the all metal key because I'm afraid the plastic will break when I'm at work she said that she has already started cutting the key but she did not it was only clamped in the machine, which takes two seconds of her time instead of taking it out and giving me the key that I asked for she said I already started it and then proceeded to cut it once she had it all cut she forced me to buy it what a terrible way to treat people and liars she obviously can't handle the weekend rush her attitude towards the customers reflects that read more

They are WONDERFUL, they know all keys, very knowledgeable and reasonably priced, crowded but that tells you they are good

I wanted to get a key duplicated for my car and asked about warranty. He immediately got flustered and said if you want warranty go to the dealership. Then immediately went to the next customer. Super unprofessional and rude business, he essentially flipped me off. read more

My father needed help with something but doesn't speak english very well so he called me before hand so I can translate what he needed to the woman working there. Right when I was going to tell her what my father needed, she immediately cut me off saying that she's not going to service him with me translating for him on the phone. I believe that's completely unacceptable as someone thats been going for there for years. read more

We had a terrific experience working with J.R. Flood Locksmith in the Berlin Farmer's Market. We needed a new key fob for our son's 2009 Mazda 6. We worked with Kyle who was super-personable, super-friendly, and super-efficient. We had a new, fully operational aftermarket fob within 15 minutes. The price was so good, we got a spare one as well! They work wonderfully. Three quick points: 1. They have dedicated parking spaces outside their store in the market, so park there when you are ready to get a key. 2. I brought the car title just in case. It wasn't needed. 3. Other reviews noted they had long wait times when they went. We went on a Thursday late afternoon which turned out to be perfect timing as they were not crowded at all. Thank you, Kyle! We highly recommend J.R. Flood Locksmith for excellent fobs and professional programming at a considerable cost savings compared to dealer prices. read more

Arrived Saturday about 845 AM, I got in line #2 the Mart opened at 9 the guys were ready to go, explained I wanted 2 key fobs, went thru the year and make, the guy grabbed the fobs, went outside and did his job, took all of 10 minutes. Price was RIGHT. I would recommend to anyone. nobody was rude or ignorant, however I will say a young guy came in, seems he was from the place across the mart, well he f-dup a key job and wanted them to fix it, we they said they would rather not. Understood. Owner of the car tried to go some place cheaper and got screwed. Why should these guys bail the out... I give 5 solid stars. Thanks guys you Rock. read more

While changing the battery in my keyless entry for a Subaru, a tiny spring dropped and disappeared. My car key would not stay locked in the remote and fell out continuously. Went to the dealership service dept. $600 to order a new remote and $140 to program it. Nope. I was told about Flood by manager when i then went to T-Mobile to update a new phone. Brought disassembled remote to their shop. Opens a drawer, sorts through some remotes. pulls out a spring, cuts it to size, puts my remote together. Key stays intact. How much I ask. He thinks and says $5. Versus $740, my question is, Why? especially when all the dealer "service?" had to do was look for an old spring. read more

They got the job done but all of them, but the woman, are rude. I walked in and asked the first guy how he was and he looked at me and didn't answer. I have severe social anxiety and don't usually go places alone, but I lost my car keys and was really in a bind. Once another guy called me over, he hastily repeated his question to me because I didn't answer fast enough. I had a terrible day today and they made it worse. read more
