We chose Super Attic Solutions based on their strong BBB rating, positive reviews, and the sales pitch that emphasized thorough follow‑up and post‑project support. We received three quotes for our attic and basement work; Super Attic Solutions was not the cheapest, but the promised inspections and customer care were the deciding factor for us. The crew that performed the work was respectful, efficient, and left the space clean. However, everything that happened after they left has been the opposite of what was promised. The sales rep assured us that an "inspector" would return a few weeks after completion to verify that: No rodents had re‑entered the home All work met code Any questions or concerns would be addressed He even mentioned a 6‑month follow‑up to ensure long‑term satisfaction. None of this happened. When I asked the project manager to walk the space with the crew, he was hesitant. I'm glad I insisted -- four ceiling lights were sealed incorrectly and left hanging an inch from the ceiling. I was told an "inspector" would come fix them, so the crew left and I was left with blue tape holding up my lights. A week later, our AC wouldn't shut off. I discovered the furnace (located in the attic) had been wrapped in insulation -- a fire hazard and not to code -- and no clear path had been left for HVAC access. When I called urgently, I was asked to send photos and then told a "supervisor with tons of experience" reviewed them and everything was fine. It wasn't. I had to pay an HVAC company to confirm the hazard, and only then was I told they might reimburse up to $500 because they didn't think they could send someone out. When the "inspector" finally arrived, they were not inspectors at all -- it was two members of the original crew. They fixed the lights (well no disrespect) and removed the insulation, from the furnace just laying on the air ducts. However, as we were communicating via technology translator, I could not get any answer to any questions and was told to call the office. Since then, I've left multiple messages through their AI system and sent two emails. I have given this company over 4 weeks to uphold the customer service they say they hold themselves to and I still haven't gotten a single phone call, let alone an "inspector" to look over the work, but they my check cashed. Bottom line: The initial work was fine, but the promised follow‑up and customer care simply do not exist. Once the crew leaves, you are on your own. For the price we paid and the safety risks involved, this company is not worth the money read less

Lately the upstairs rooms always felt dusty and the temperature kept changing a lot, cold at night and warm during the day. Someone suggested checking the attic and once it was opened it was pretty obvious the insulation was very old and the space needed a real cleaning. Team came out and took their time looking around first. They explained what they were seeing and why the old insulation was not really doing its job anymore. There was a lot of buildup, old insulation, dust, and just years of stuff sitting in the attic. Once they started removing everything it was kind of surprising how much came out. Whole attic was cleaned out properly before anything new went in. They also pointed out a few small openings where air was getting in and sealed those while they were up there. After that the new insulation was installed and the difference started to show pretty quickly. Upstairs already feels more comfortable and the house keeps the temperature much better. Air feels cleaner too, which was something that was noticed almost right away. One thing that stood out was how careful they were during the process. They covered areas they were walking through and cleaned everything before leaving so there was no mess left behind. Attic cleaning and insulation is probably one of those things people forget about until it becomes a problem. Looking back it probably should have been done earlier, but really glad it finally got taken care of. House feels better overall and it just gives peace of mind knowing the attic is clean and properly insulated now. Really good experience from start to finish.

Recently we had a problem with some venting pipes that were never sealed and leaked condensation moisture into the insulation and caused ceiling water damage. It was time to make this small repair and patch, but we also decided it was a good time to remove all the blown in insulation and replace with insulation batting. Patrick from Sound Crawls came to do the inspection and gave us a quote for the work we wanted done. In our opinion he did the best inspection of all the businesses that came to give us a quote. He was very flexible, willing to do less, but explained how more could be done to make our attic so much better. We decided to go with his company and our attic now is clean, organized and has storage space that we are rapidly moving things out of our garage into the attic. Now the area is easy to navigate and access remote spots without getting covered in insulation. We are very happy with the results and speed at with the work was done. He was always willing to jump on the phone to answer any questions, which I appreciated a lot. My house was built prior to 1989 so I received a nice PSE rebate for the work. On the day of, Jo's crew were quick and efficient and provided Before and After photos. They removed my old vapor barrier and insulation and replaced with new one, added new dryer vent duct and flapper, and added new roof vents for all my bathroom fans, and much more. I was able to ask them questions during and provided water and snacks to them for their hard work. The crew respected my home and cleaned up after themselves before leaving. After the work was completed, I thanked Jo for making this all possible and being easy to work with. We went over some of the After pictures together over the phone to help me learn about everything and ask additional questions. They even sent a crewmember to come back for a 2-week follow-up on the work to make sure everything still looks good. This felt very much like a bait and switch. Beware for them to give you a low bid and raise the price when they arrive to do the work. Edit: After follow-up discussion with the company, I no longer believe this was a bait and switch, just poor communication from the woman in the office, the original estimator, and the people on-site who showed up to do the work. Each of the three areas that I was expecting to be done (attic, walls, crawlspace) had legitimate reasons for why they couldn't be done.

I was shocked, with the PSE rebate, which NW Insulation takes care of, the estimate was thousands less than I thought it would be! I signed up, and a day or so later I got a call to schedule the install, again, surprisingly, they could do it right away and I scheduled for about a week out. The installers got to my house about 8am and were very polite and professional. They basically worked all day, got the job done, and were on their way. They left everything clean and it is amazing to me how the house looked when they were done. They blew in the insulation from the exterior and the method that they used left no trace, they removed a course of siding, drilled holes, filled the walls, plugged the holes, and replaced the siding. You can't even tell that they were there. I have only had a few hot days to determine if there has been an improvement and honestly it really does seem to stay cooler inside, looking forward to winter for the real test. All in all, this has been a great experience, I very highly recommend NW Insulation for your project.

Normally, I'd be pretty skeptical at that combination, but all of the positive reviews on Yelp convinced me to accept their offer. A few days later, as I write this I'm basking in the warmth of my new heater. The installation was smooth, painless, and well done. Despite some unexpected challenges in the home's design to figure out and overcome, they charged exactly their estimate; there were none of the kind of headaches or scams that one often expects dealing with contractors. All in all, great experience, these folks deserve their lofty reputation.

Better Air NW was the only one who didn't give us pricing or a plan and the only one we had a negative experience with. During our in-person consultation, Jered focused on our HOA almost the entire time. Our HOA does have requirements in this area that we don't think are enforceable anymore, and in any case, that's our issue to sort out once a proposal is in place. We reassured Jered we would handle the HOA ourselves and wanted him to treat it like any other job: propose whatever setup his experience would call for and walk us through a plan and pricing. He kept coming back to the HOA anyway, and we struggled to get him to focus on the plan instead. He even told us one of the rooms was "impossible," and when we asked why, the answer was the HOA. It really felt like we were grasping at straws here. By the end of the consultation, our time had been wasted and we still didn't have any pricing or a plan. Later, he texted us that they couldn't do the job, without giving a reason. Since we never got one, we were left to guess: to us, the constant focus on the HOA came across as an easy way to pass on a job they didn't want to take on. No other contractor had trouble coming up with a proposal and pricing. Either way, our suggestion to Better Air NW is to be upfront.

Once they had me in their system, they started contacting me in advance to schedule the test each year, which I really appreciate since the city notice doesn't usually give a lot of turnaround time. This year the city surprised me by sending the notice a month early, and I was on vacation when the notice came. This left me with just over a week before it was due. I contacted 5 Star Backflow Services and they were able to do the test just a couple days later. After the test they always send the report directly to the city within 24 hours. I was extremely pleased with the work and performance the Airganic Co. provided at my residence. I was in need of a total overall of my home's crawl space, including removal of all old/existing materials, install new insulation in floor joists, wrap all ducting and vents with new insulation, repair/replace any needed foundation screens, total rodent inspection, repair or replace any damaged venting and lay down and secure a new vapor barrier. The company is very professional, very knowledgeable and work well as a team. Pricing is important to me though not the only criteria I use in my selection process for services to be performed. Airganic though was the lowest bid of the 3 company's I had bid my project. They also had the best warranty. A 3 year warranty where as the others had a 1 year warranty. The owner; Gal, project manager; Dustin and their 2 techs; Isaac and Dylan were all very professional and did whatever was needed to ensure I was a happy customer. Communication was excellent as was their follow up. They operate on a "clean as you go" policy which is very important to me. They also did a follow up 2 weeks after the install to make sure there are no issues or concerns, a re-inspect of the work performed and that I as the customer am pleased with their work. We just got our crawl space cleaned and vapor barrier replaced today, with an initial estimate/inspection appointment on Monday of this week! AirGanic was incredibly flexible as I wasn't able to be physically present for the service but left instructions that they followed and didn't even have to call to confirm how to enter. It was a breath of fresh air to be honest as I was bracing myself to have to give instructions over the phone but that wasn't even necessary! They were also incredibly quick as I had explained to them that we needed this service to be done ASAP, and they accommodated us and even went a step further and prioritized us a day earlier than we expected. We really appreciate the quick turnaround and flexibility especially since they just inspected our crawl space on Monday! Very happy with the AirGanic service! We called them because we saw a winter special going on for complete air duct cleaning service on local ad paper. The receptionist was polite and helpful as I had a couple of questions. I was not there on the day of service but two young gentlemen (my wife only remembered one guy's name; Austin but both of them were extremely nice and polite). came over to clean the duct. On top of the duct cleaning, they went up to the attic to check the insulation system. We had this problem that a couple of our rooms do not have the air flowing but they offered to check the garage and furnace with my wife, explained why they think this was going on, and offered a couple of solution ideas. We first used Airganic duct cleaning services 2 years ago, and then again now because we had a dust-creating kitchen renovation and new heat pump installation since then. Both times, they were very thorough, very efficient and provided excellent information about what they were doing and what they found. The pricing was very fair and very competitive compared to other providers we checked out. Because access to our condo unit is physically difficult, Airganic was able to perform the work with a van unit, as opposed to a big truck that wouldn't have been able to get into our driveway, something that other providers who only use big trucks could not have achieved. - All in all, we highly recommend Airganic - competent, reliable, honest and fair. read more

Big thank you to the AirGanic team for helping with our over-the-range microwave venting. We live in a condo with an HOA so I really wanted to use the existing exterior vent, which they were able to connect to. I had an initial consultation with David who was super friendly. I then spoke to Gal, the owner, about the project and he talked me through what they were going to do. Tyson and Conner came to perform the work and they were clearly experienced and worked well together, plus I enjoyed talking with them. I was very impressed by their honesty, friendliness, and prices. I had the blow in cellulose installed in the attic and it looks great. I'm going to remodel the bathroom so asked them to leave that area free of insulation and they were kind enough to fill up some trash bags and leave extra cellulose to cover the area when the remodel is done. FYI- 6 out of the 8 companies I asked for a quote from on yelp wouldn't give me a quote without first seeing the house. Cameron, Austin and Mike came to do a duct cleaning, gas fireplace service and dryer vent cleaning. They notified me 15 minutes before arriving and were right on time for the scheduled appointment which you can easily book online. They were efficient and professional, explaining what they were doing every step of the way. We're renters but went out of pocket for this to enjoy a breath of fresh air. I can't recommend enough this company ! They installed insulation and ducts in our crawl space after we had rodents damage. From covering the shoes and the floor to keep us updated and show pictures of before and after to great follow ups to insure the rodents did not get back in, if you want a cheap job there are many out there but if you want top notch work with amazing customer service I am happy to recommend Airganic read more

The folks at Airganic were very professional and efficient. They had a lot of work to do considering I had just finished up some construction over the summer and the job was done well. Not a single hint of dust noted when I turned on the furnace a week or so later. I also really appreciated their online booking tool as it can be a real pain playing phone tag with companies. The overall experience was great and efficient! I tried to clean my air duct and they scheduled on time, and I used the air duct + dryer venting package. On the day time they come, we realized the my heating is electric and does not need air duct cleaning, and they managed to switch to clean the dryer venting. They cleaned out a lot of dust from the venting and the guys were polite, thorough and efficient. read more

Went above and beyond. Cleaned my ducts, did furnace maintenance, sold me a top of the line furnace filter which will help with my wife's allergies. They even hooked my dryer up! I'm totally sold on these guys for future maintenance needs. Two gentlemen came today to clean my vents. Wow, they went above the call!! Not only did they clean the air vents they cleaned the vent to my clothes dryer. Our entire HVAC duct system was very thoroughly cleaned by him, and the furnace, heat pump and mini split were maintained and carefully cleaned as well. He also figured out a way to upgrade our older wireless thermostat to do what we wanted without requiring wiring. He showed us all of the work he was doing as he was doing it and did not charge suggest or charge for anything unnecessary. The pricing was fair and transparent, and his expertise in HVAC was clear. They were able to come out very soon after my initial request, and all communication was prompt and friendly. After being frustrated with not so great service from two other vendors in the past, Peter and Pure provided hands down the best HVAC experience we've had and we're switching over to Pure for both annual maintenance and to install another mini split later this year.

I then asked if they could also quote me on routine maintenance for our furnace. They could have easily charged me for an added service, but told me they had a fall special for doing both jobs together that was $30 less than what they had quoted me for just the HVAC work! Says a lot about them, I think. Of course, it's the actual work that matters most. My service tech, Matt, called enroute and gave me an accurate time of arrival. He was very professional and even showed how to do periodic cleaning. He found a leak in our furnace that needed a small repair. He did the repair with no additional charge. This company is great. I've already put them in my calendar for next year's routine maintenance and I would definitely call them if I had any other issue before then.

They went through every single vent in the house, inspected every single nook and cranny to determine what would be needed, including the furnace itself. Secondly, they were very patient in revising their estimates several times after every unnecessary question that I asked them with requests for revisions. Thirdly, they came over exactly at the time specified, got to work right away, were very friendly, and didn't ask for anything. They spent a full day, working tirelessly, got the job done, tested it thoroughly, and left only after completing all checks. Their price was very competitive too. All in all a fantastic experience. Highly recommend this crew.
