We own few business that without a/c for long duration would be catastrophic. I recently had to call them for service on our a/c. They were quick to come out and diagnose the problem, provided me with variety of options based our budget for the project. They fixed the issue under 45 min, and our AC was back to normal. The pricing was fair, and most importantly, they are honest. They told me upfront the cost of each thing, they don't push me towards one over the other. However, they will always recommend the best. They pride themselves in quality and I can see why. On top of it, it's a family run business. When it comes to a/c, it's always good to have a specialist you can trust. I would definitely recommend him to anyone needing a/c services. They have been around a while and are honest, professional, knowledgeable, and work quickly and efficiently.

We were advised that we needed a new air conditioner unit however they were not able to replace it ( Apparently they will service an air conditioner but they will not install a new air conditioner). We had to pay $95 for the diagnostic charge. I felt it was unfair that we had to pay this large fee and received no service at all in return. They should have disclosed up front that they cannot replace a unit, as we would have made a better choice of hiring a full service HVAC company. I tried to discuss this with the owner but he was unwilling to give us a break. So we are out of luck for nearly 100 dollars.

My boyfriend and I had a terrible experience from start to finish. I would strongly urge anyone…read moreconsidering Florida Clean Air Plus to look elsewhere. What started as a routine AC maintenance visit turned into a nightmare. The original techs who came out seemed competent and told us our unit needed to be replaced, which we accepted. The office then quoted us $7,600 for a new unit, and we agreed. During scheduling with Victor, we were very clear about two things: we wanted the same techs back, and we needed them to bring plastic and tarping to protect our apartment. We reminded them about this multiple times. On install day, none of that happened, thanks to Victor's lack of communication. Different techs showed up with no plastic or tarping and had to leave to get it. Then, partway through the install, we noticed the new compressor looked drastically smaller than every other unit in our building. We flagged it to the tech, and only then did he realize it was the wrong type of unit entirely. The office had misquoted us on a unit that wouldn't even work for our apartment. Their fix? A new quote of $12,000. After a lot of pushing back on our end, they brought it down to $8,600 -- still more than we originally agreed to, for a mistake that was entirely theirs. Julie, the office manager, told us we were the ones who provided the incorrect information on the unit needed (not true), despite their tech servicing our unit and communicating the type of new unit to the office. We are not professionals in HVAC. They are supposed to be. Julie also refused to let us speak with anyone above her. Meanwhile, they had already drained the freon from our existing unit and refused to put it back while we waited for the correct unit to come in (we had to call and tell them they left us with no freon -- why would they bother to communicate any solution to us?). We were left without AC for an entire day. Their solution was to either come after business hours for our building (not possible) or give us a portable AC unit that couldn't come close to cooling our apartment. The next day, the correct unit arrived -- but of course, they didn't bring the thermostat we had specifically requested during scheduling (where they told us we could have any thermostat we wanted). When we offered to go buy the thermostat we actually wanted, the office refused to install anything we provided, despite never telling us they didn't have ours and just giving us whatever they had in stock. Again, zero communication. After haggling, they eventually agreed to install ours at no additional cost. Throughout all of this, the office repeatedly told us they'd "make it right" and "make us happy," all while telling us things that weren't true at every turn. This is a deeply untrustworthy company. Save yourself the money, the time, and the stress. Go anywhere else.

So, I called Weathershield again. They showed up less than two hours later, immediately fixed the problem (a simple faulty fuse), and the charge was very minimal. The service man, was nice and very professional. I wish all companies in South Florida could be as professional, fast, and reasonable as Weathershield.

The gentleman that came was super nice and what I loved is that not once did he tried to up sale anything and kept in sight what he was here to do which was to make the AC unit blow cold air. He found the issue very quickly which was my capacitor, replaced it and unit immediately started working properly. I asked about maintenance as I bought this house in 2020 and didn't know when unit was last serviced. He recommended a cleaning of the inside unit. They answered my call,…read moreasked questions about what was going on, sent appointment confirmations, and the technician arrived within the scheduled window. The reason I called wasn't just because of a musty smell. My biggest concern is that whenever the AC kicks on, my eyes burn, my nose gets congested, and I start sneezing. I've been dealing with allergy-like symptoms for a while now, and I was hoping to finally get some answers. The technician spent quite a bit of time trying to figure out the source of the issue. After the initial diagnostic, I was told it would cost an additional $75 to continue investigating because the system was wrapped differently than expected and required more time to access. I agreed because I genuinely wanted to get to the bottom of what was causing my symptoms. In the end, I paid about $173 and still don't have a clear answer. There were several possibilities mentioned, but nothing definitive. I was shown a picture that was supposedly of my evaporator coil, but when I asked for a copy, I was told it would be uploaded to my profile. I never received it. What bothered me most is that I was left without any real explanation for what is causing the burning eyes, congestion, and sneezing. At one point, I was told I may just need to "get used to it" or consider replacing the AC because of its age. That was frustrating to hear after spending money specifically to find the cause of a problem that's affecting my quality of life. I don't expect every service call to end with an easy answer, especially with an older system. But I do expect clearer findings, better documentation, and more direction than "it might be this" or "it might be that." The company was professional and responsive, but I walked away feeling like my main concern was never really addressed.
