I had a service call to check for leaks from our ceiling Daikon unit. They charged us over $200 for the visit, but did not perform any repairs. They provided a quote to fix the issue that was over $2000. When I asked them to itemize the quote so I could see the breakdown of labor versus parts, they told me they couldn't and don't do that. This response raised my suspicions about their honesty. Additionally, they mentioned they would deduct the service call fee from the $2000 repair cost, but there were no guarantees that the repair would actually resolve the leaking issue. Fortunately, a friend who visited from the Midwest has experience running HVAC systems for a manufacturing company. He climbed up on a ladder, accessed the ceiling unit, and within 15 minutes, had the problem fixed! He found a line that had been manually disconnected from the system and simply reconnected it. There was always enough men to ensure the job would finish by the scheduled end day, and they were all curteous and professional. The materials were higher-end (more substantial) than the big box stuff. All the visible work was done with detail. One small issue was resolved with a brief return trip. I called duct masters to investigate an odor in my AC system. I was given an very high pressure sales pitch. It was $7000 for all new ducts or your children will get sick. The answering service is very good and professional. I called them asking them for a simple duct cleaning. ($695) and they scheduled a initiation visit. At the initiation visit they offered a few add on services and even quoted me for a new A/C UNIT. I didn't want any of the add on services, just the duct cleaning. When I told the technician (Austin) this, then he tells me there is a $1,500 minimum job to come out to even do the duct cleaning. What?! I was never informed at any point about this. Clearly, this company is taking advantage of the high demand for their services and only coming out for a $1,500 minimum set of services. I then called Lowe's Duct Cleaning and they came out the very next day for a full duct cleaning for $279. read more

I contacted DuctMasters after I noticed a couple of holes in my dryer duct. I had that old white plastic tube, so it needed replacement for sure. I filled out the online form for an appointment and received a call in under 20 minutes. They were able to schedule a service call that same day. Adrian arrived on time, maneuvered his way behind the washer/dryer to disconnect the old duct and installed a new one in about 15 minutes! Additionally, he inspected my A/C ducts which was also included in the price of $249. I'm glad I called DuctMasters for this task which was long overdue. They are a 10 star business! I called DuctMasters on Tuesday with an emergency request. I was getting a new AC in the morning and needed the ducts cleaned same day. They sent someone out within an hour. They did a great job! My vents look and smell brand new. They kept my home clean and cleaned up after themselves. There was a small disagreement with the charges and they fixed it right away. I contacted DuctMasters to have them evaluate and repair a problem I have been experiencing with one of the bedroom A/C vents that has been sweating around the vent and causing damage to the ceiling. Eddie from DM came out, evaluated my aging duct system and gave me a estimate for the repairs. Although the A/C duct system has some years on it, and is made of metal, he still feels it is in very good shape and only recommended minor repairs. That was definitely a big relief. Eddie was very professional and knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. The price was adequate for the scope of work provided. His crew (Adrian & Henry) showed up on time and on the scheduled date. They completed all the work that was indicated and checked the entire system for any additional work that was needed and/or missed. I was very happy with their work and would definitely hire them again. I gave them only 4 stars instead of 5 because the weather became cooler the next day and I was not able to fully evaluate and see if my sweating issues are totally resolved. I contacted Jessica at DuctMasters and advised her that not until probably early next summer will I truly know if my problem has been solved. She told me she would follow up and contact me early next summer to see if their work was satisfactory. Fingers are crossed! read more
