I should have called Jess and his team months sooner and not at the end of August. If you are waiting to have your AC worked please stop and give them a call. We were on a seriously tight budget and really just wanted to see if they could get the old unit working better. Sadly our units were at the end of their life and was time to replace. After talking with Jess about our budget constraints he was able to find a quality used unit and still replace the coils all while remaining in our tight budget. They were so professional that I was kind of upset how long we dealt with crappy AC. I seriously don't know why we waited. And not to mention we were having people over and had a hard cutoff time for the work to be done and the house still cleaned. Not only did they finish in the timeframe they told me. Once they got here, they went to work analyzing my air handler, plenum, air duct. They determined I had a leak and sealed it, which was also leading to lost freon. They increased that as well. Great job, for great expectations that were met. I have a dust allergy and got focused with all this lockdown/AC-air-only on eliminating all dust offenders. Called Impressive Air after reading Yelp reviews, including Drew (who's basically always right lol,) I called I.A. They listened to what I wanted, and deftly explained their process and procedure. And, day of the actual cleaning: the cleaning process, despite some combined worries/admirations for their bigg-ish contraptions, was easy. Jess and Jason explained their cleaning from the onset and also during the process. Two hours or so later, they were done, and my circulated air was easily noticeably better. Almost a month later and it still is. I appreciate the work I.A. did and the time they took to explain ongoing maintenance. There was one small mask slippage, which I asked to be amended and was done immediately ... that's my only "if you need a quibble" comment on their visit. I'm usually not one to do reviews but decided to do so for this company, because they really changed my perspective on AC service companies. Our AC unit went out in the middle of June 2020 during the Pandemic. I called around to all the top AC installation companies that you see on TV, the Internet, or get flyers from. The estimates were shocking. I found Impressive Air through Yelp and at the time they had only a handful of reviews. I contacted them through the Yelp app and within a day or two they were here on site to look at my old AC which wasn't cooling. After discussing what to do we decided on a new Carrier unit. The proposal was sent over and we agreed upon a price which was more affordable then the 4-5 other companies I got quotes from. The day before the install they confirmed that they would be there and the next day they were right on time. They were extremely polite and wore masks and even cloth booties over their shoes to keep things clean. They worked fast and had the old unit out, vacuumed and cleaned the closet and installed the new AC unit, new support frame, float sensor switches, and wrapped all the cords and ducting properly. They reprogrammed my existing Ecobee digital thermostat. They tested the unit and it worked great. Over night the unit quit working and I called them and they came right over and found a tiny hole in the new copper tubing weld joint so they re-welded it and recharged it and tested it with a pressure gauge; looked good. I have to say that whenever I call them, they have no problem coming out and looking at things and working out a repair. No complaints and no charge for warrantied work. Each time I call or text them, they are polite and quick to respond. My dealings with other AC companies had really soured my impression of the AC service industry. Most companies inflate their quotes and take shortcuts on the installations which eventually lead to costly repairs down the road. I always felt most companies were taking advantage of ordinary consumers. Impressive Air changed my perspective. When I need my other AC replaced, I will absolutely call Impressive Air. After researching each alternative, I selected the 16 SEER Rheem. Jessie and Jason did a superb job with the installation, which wasn't easy - they had to remove and replace the door frame to the back patio in order to get the compressor to fit through the door. My air conditioner stopped working on a Sunday and after searching reviews I decided to give this company a try. I was not disappointed. They responded promptly and came the next morning to fix my ac. The two young men were very thorough and pleasant. They showed me what was wrong and what was needed. They fixed my ac in less than 35 minutes and the house started cooling off. He even told me that I would need a new ac because mine is so old. The suggestion was that I should wait until it gives out to get maximum use and even have a ballpark estimate for a new ac so I can be prepared. We just bought our home so we know we will have to replace some things and who doesn't want a brand new ac. I rather have quality and a warranty. I will continue to utilize this company because the price was fair and service was great. My AC wasn't cooling the day prior and we didn't find out until it was really late in the day so we decided to hold of until first thing in the morning because of emergency fees and all of that mess. Called first thing in the morning and they were able to come by for a quick inspection before they went to their scheduled appointment. They were quick to diagnose that my coils were frozen and I needed to shut the system down while they thawed. They assured me they would return after a few hours to complete the inspection due to the use in the system. As true as their word is, they came back and fully inspected my system. They were very thorough and only found some minute issues. Explained to me what to look for in case this happens again and they were on their way. Not only were they quick and honest, they also only charged me a visit fee due to the problem being small. Now my house is cooling again and my family is happy. I left a previous review and literally nothing has changed with Jesse's superior service - oh except my AC is blowing like it's brand new again , thx! Six months ago Jess and another highly rated AC company both came over for hours to diagnose intermittent issues on my AC and found everything "working fine" which was odd because indeed my AC was freezing up but, only sometimes. Whatever after Jesse left everything was fine for three months although he promised he "only ran diagnostics". Issues started up again three months later and I just kept dealing with them... ac on, frozen handler, a condenser that only turned off at the breaker, and an ac that only blew cold air when the ac was off and the ac handler was frozen. I had enough...called Jess again. Within an hour he diagnosed the problem, replaced the damaged parts and when I asked if he could hose down the condenser he kindly agreed and even stored the hose neatly back on the rack for me. He's also very respectful and covers his shoes every single time he enters the house. Thought I would leave a second review on my repair experience. 5 stars!! read more
