If there was an award show for the South Florida HVAC industry, Emmanuel and his team would sweep the top awards. From the very start of beginning the process of finding the right AC system, Emmanuel was extremely responsive to all texts and messages, at basically all times of the day. I had a million inane questions and concerns; he answered all of them. We narrowed the list to three 5-ton options. The most expensive one was of my choosing, an American Standard unit, and the other two were a Rheem and a GrandAire (which I hadn't heard of before, it's a subsidiary of Carrier). He recommended strongly that I go with the cheapest one, the GrandAire. He was absolutely correct! It saved thousands of dollars, and it works extremely well. He added a new Nest thermostat, as well. I couldn't be happier. The [minimum 2-year] warranty that he backs up his work with has to be one of the best. If you're in the market for any HVAC work, do not hesitate to hit up Emmanuel and Island Breeze Air. read more

They committed to coming on a late Saturday evening and got here a little late after thunderstorms delayed their work day- BUT THEY CAME! It was really a dire situation. The A/C was not cooling at all. Jorge came to the rescue, and with the help of Emmanuel on the phone, were able to get the 20 year old unit going just in time for bed. Thanks for your dedication and courteous service. Fair price too. read more

I had an emergency repair for one of my tenants whose AC unit was not blowing cold air and island breeze reached out to me promptly even though it was past 8pm. Emmanuel texted me and made it out to the property quickly and was able to diagnose the issue and get things working again. There was an emergency late night fee but overall it was very reasonable considering it was past normal business hours. I will certainly use them in the future. read more

I recently had a new HVAC unit installed by Island Breeze Air Conditioning, and I cannot recommend them highly enough. Emmanuel, the owner and lead technician, is exceptional. He is incredibly communicative, reliable, proactive, and truly professional from start to finish. In addition to the HVAC installation, Emmanuel and his team also repaired one of my bathroom exhaust fans and fully replaced the other, handling everything efficiently and with great attention to detail. He managed every aspect of the project seamlessly, coordinating with my condo building's property management, securing insurance documentation, and taking care of all necessary permits. His experience really shows. He thoroughly inspects everything, walks you through the process, and listens carefully to any concerns. The installation was spotless. Emmanuel and his team are extremely clean and respectful, leaving the space even better than they found it. His knowledge of HVAC systems is impressive, and he is fully hands on throughout the entire job. He also speaks both English and Spanish, which is a huge plus. One of the things I appreciated most was the transparency. His quotes are reasonable and accurate, with no hidden or unexpected charges. On top of that, he is extremely responsive. Every call or text was answered right away. If you are looking for a trustworthy, experienced, and professional HVAC company, Island Breeze A/C is the one. Excellent company. Very quick service. Professional technician. I signed a contract for future visits.

Professional, quick, and efficient. Based on today's service, I will be contacting them again next time I need a new service or replacement.

Avoid. Get a Second Opinion Before Spending a Dime. Island Breeze came out for what I hoped would be a straightforward service visit on my 9-year-old Carrier HVAC system. In the last, when the system was not cooling, we required replacement of refrigerant and nothing more. What I got instead were quotes for a full system replacement -- $7,850 or $8,750 for a new unit -- and a $1,250 estimate for a coil/blower deep clean. Their technician essentially told me the system was done and needed to go. I was skeptical. A 9-year-old Carrier is not an old system. I called a second company. Lombardi. The second technician found no structural issues with the HVAC whatsoever. He added refrigerant ($200) and performed a dye test ($140) to locate a leak. He also discovered that a vent in the master bedroom had become disconnected from the ductwork -- a completely separate issue that Island Breeze either missed entirely or chose not to mention. That disconnected vent was the reason the upstairs master wasn't cooling properly. After the second company's visit, the house cools better than it has in years. Total cost: $340. Island Breeze was steering me toward $8,000-$9,000 in unnecessary work that wouldn't have even fixed the real problem -- because the root cause was a detached duct, not a failing HVAC. This is either gross incompetence or a deliberate upsell strategy. Either way, it's unacceptable. Do yourself a favor: get a second opinion before authorizing any major work with this company. read more

Today, I had my airducts cleaned. I had hired them previously for an HVAC motor replacement. It's been several months and my HVAC unit has had zero issues. Both times they were prompt, professional and efficient. This is one of the most punctual companies that I have dealt with. They are also very communicative and very reasonably priced. I am very pleased with their services and highly recommed Island Breeze! read more

All good!! Ended up hiring them not only for the repair / full service of my AC but also for the regular check ups. So far so good!

Good and fast service. Excellent air conditioner/heater unit was installed. The people were knowledgable and courteous.

Stay away from these guys. They are a total rip off. Wanting $250 to do a standard clearing of a drain ac in a SFR. Which I do in my own house where I live for free with a hose! Watch out for these companies out there trying to take advantage of the people!! I did not hire them but if you reading this shop around!!! I post reviews like this to expose these type people and companies so you know better and dont get taken! read more

I needed to replace the HVAC system in my home. After evaluating three different companies I decided to go with Island Breeze and I'm really happy I did. Their service has been fantastic. Emmanuel replied quickly every time I contacted him and patiently answered all my questions. Their price was fair and they offered some extras that distinguished them from other companies. After accepting their quote, he immediately told me when they would be able to do the installation. They were punctual, efficient, and in just a few hours I had a new system and peace of mind. read more

Our ac was struggling to keep the house cool for weeks. Once the temp hit 76 in the house (while set to 72) I got on Yelp and started reaching out for quotes. I reached out to Immanuel after reading some great reviews and he answered right away even though it was before 8:00 am. He was able to schedule an appointment with one of his techs for the same day. Miguel arrived early in the schedule window, and soon figured out what the problem was. He endured the heat (Miami in July) to make sure the system kicked on after maintenance. The cost was extremely fair. The service is professional and Immanuel was very attentive. I highly recommend Island Breeze Air to anyone in SFL needing ac service. read more

These guys were fantastic! I submitted a project request thru Yelp and got quotes from 4 different companies. Emmanuel was very prompt in responding to all my messages. Although initially more expensive, he was also able to bring the price down and include preventive maintenance plus double the labor warranty. He and his team showed up on time the next day, new unit ready to go. They worked quickly and cleaned up after themselves. Our AC was back up and running less than 2 hours later and has been working amazingly since. I would definitely recommend Emmanuel and Island Breeze for your AC needs! read more

Had a tricky project that others were reluctant to take seriously. One of the largest AC Installers sold me a replacement unit 2 years ago August, and because of the HIGH demand at that time ( they were the only company in the area that could get me a unit in less than 4 weeks) I went with them. However they sent me a NIGHTMARE of an installer ( probably also because of the HUGE demand at the time and a shortage of qualified people) who half assed the job and made a mess of it. Bottom line, inside unit leaked condensation everywhere, couldn't use a filter, resulting in fouled coil, freezing and nothing but headaches for the last two summers. Finally contacted Island Breeze, who got back to me promptly. Daniel scheduled consult. Emmanuel came by, had a look, and said they would give me a quote to remove and reinstall the inside unit properly. Quote was reasonable, work was done when promised and by two VERY professional and diligent installers. Would highly recommend and will keep them in my arsenal of home headache defense from now on. read more
