I was given the choice of three estimates which were way out of my price range and told the guy would need to call somebody else to get another estimate. The estimates were anywhere from the cheapest of $1500. Approx to over $3000. I was totally shocked as my unit is not that old and was told that the motherboard was not sending signals to the compressor to turn on and if they replace the motherboard, it still may not send the signal and then I would have to replace my compressor also. I called another company that was also recommended to me and a technician within 10 minutes found the problem to be a $240 capacitor, which was changed in less than a half an hour and I had air again!! I can't imagine a company trying to rip off somebody buy so much money and completely miss diagnosing, a simple problem and trying and turning it into a huge disaster! I would never recommend this company. They are completely dishonest or maybe it was just the person they sent here.

Both gentlemen were very nice and they did a great job taking away the old unit and putting the new unit on a new pad and plumbing in the ducting and drain pipe. Dear Robert, Following Your Response & my Summer Experience…read morewith your Last Mini Split Installation & Non-Follow up Service. 1/ Last July 2020, Your New Crew installed a 12,000 BTU Mini Split in my Suite #5, when they Removed the Old Compressor from the Previous System on my Flat Roof, They damaged the Roof, with the Heavy Rain, I Got leaks & a $600 Repair. 2/ When They re-wired the New Unit, they did not waterproof the Connection, So every time, it rains, Breaker keeps tripping. 3/ for the Previous unit installed in #2 for Which your Refused to service after insulting me & being rude about a $250 invoice on a service call for which your Tech did 1/2 the job & were to come back to finish it, I always Pay my Bills when the Work is Complete! my Front Neighbor, who recommended you few years ago & who is not using Your Company for Service anymore, recommended a New AC Services & Repair. the Unit installed 8 months ago then I finally got a new board, which should have been covered in the 5 Years warranty, but I Paid $450. still Not Working, New Professional tech, contacted Comfort Star & Finally got approval for a compressor Replacement ( New Photo as Proof) When Installing the New Compressor, Tech showed me the Issue, previous crew of AVIV AC Tech who installed it had wires to exposed & too Closed to each others which burned the Unit. You can Verify with Comfort Star, After 2.1/2 Months Summer with NO AC, I Finally got the Warranty to Work to fix Your Shitty Job. So, No Rant against You, 2 Last Installations from AVIV AC where 2 FAILURES, with Electric Connections Not waterproofed, Hole in my Roof which Damaged my roof & The Ceiling of 1 Unit & Cost me $600, & a Previous Bad installation which burn the Compressor after 8 months which cost me $450 & 2.1/2 months Summer with NO AC I Could Sue You to recover those costs I paid, the Damages & Aggravation of 2.1/2 months without AC in 1 Room! I won t, I am glad to have found a REAL PRO with this New AC Service & Repair, they Know what they are Doing & $75/Unit Cleaning & Services of my 12 Units, it is 1/2 Price of AVV AC, So I will save Later, Most Important: They are Polite & Respectful with their Costumers. From the very start of beginning the process of finding the right AC system, Emmanuel was extremely responsive to all texts and messages, at basically all times of the day. I had a million inane questions and concerns; he answered all of them. We narrowed the list to three 5-ton options. The most expensive one was of my choosing, an American Standard unit, and the other two were a Rheem and a GrandAire (which I hadn't heard of before, it's a subsidiary of Carrier). He recommended strongly that I go with the cheapest one, the GrandAire. He was absolutely correct! It saved thousands of dollars, and it works extremely well. He added a new Nest thermostat, as well. I couldn't be happier. The [minimum 2-year] warranty that he backs up his work with has to be one of the best. If you're in the market for any HVAC work, do not hesitate to hit up Emmanuel and Island Breeze Air.
