Henry provided honest, skilled service for my Bosch dishwasher at a reasonable price. Thank you!! read more

I've used Mike's Appliance Repair for a few different issues over the years and always had a decent experience, which is why I called them first when my refrigerator's ice maker stopped working. This time, though, they missed the mark. They charged me for a brand new motor, but it didn't fix the problem, and once it didn't work, they stopped responding to my texts entirely. I ended up finding someone else who diagnosed the actual issue right away and fixed it properly. I'm not writing this to knock Mike's, since they've done fine work for me in the past, but this experience was frustrating enough that I wanted future customers to know: if something doesn't get fixed right the first time, make sure you're getting real follow-up, not silence. read more

I had to replace our ice maker in our Whirlpool refrigerator. Ike arrived on time with an assistant. He took out the old unit after testing (to see if it could be repaired). He replaced it with a new unit and cleaned the freezer space as well as vacuumed the coils in the back of the fridge and tested the connections to make sure there.were no leaks. I was very impressed and his charges were reasonable. I recommended him to a neighbor and they were equally pleased. I highly recommend his services. read more

Always excellent service! Esteban and Henry came out and fixed my air conditioning very quickly. They've always came out quickly and have always provided quality service for the money. They're very informative, professional, and have always had a great price! I will definitely continue to be a repeat customer and I recommend them to anyone. Top notch! read more

We thought our washing machine was leaking, but when Esteban and Henri got here, they tested the washer, and it was fine, but discovered the water we found on the floor was because the freezer drain was clogged. They unblocked the clog, defrosted the massive pool of ice from the bottom of the freezer and everything is great! Very affordable rates, as well. read more

Honest, professional, clean, efficient, and kind does not begin to describe Esteban and his team. They have come out to fix and service our dryer several times (i am guilty of not emptying out the lint after every wash). And Esteban always comes and patiently gets my dryer back in tip top shape. He has removed a raccoon size of lint from my dryer and vents. Very impressed with the work. read more

* STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY * I had an extremely disappointing experience with this company. I called them for what should have been a straightforward heating element replacement on my dryer. Unfortunately, after the technician's repair, my dryer went from needing a single part replaced to being completely nonfunctional. After the new heating element was installed, the dryer started to overheat and shut off, something it had never done before. The technician tried troubleshooting by repeatedly running the dryer, which resulted in blown fuses and more issues. He insisted the overheating was due to a clogged vent, but no blockage was found. Now, the dryer displays an error code, makes odd noises, fills the room with a burning smell, and simply will not start. Despite paying for the repair, the dryer is worse than before, and I have not received a response from the company on how they plan to resolve this. The lack of accountability and poor communication are unacceptable. I would NEVER EVER recommend this service to anyone. read more

i paid $300 to have my dryer fixed - they sent over a new guy who had no idea what he was doing - another guy had to show up, he replaced the pulley, 2 wheels, and thermal fuse.. the dryer sounded worse than ever - then it stopped working after 22 days, they didnt want to honor their "30 day" warranty and wanted to charge me a other $200 dollars for the same work they had already done - total scam. The dryer was never fixed and had to call a different company who fixed it read more

Excellent, excellent, excellent. Jennifer was very responsive and friendly. Josue came earlier than expected, found the problem and fixed it perfectly. Nothing worse than washing clothes to find the dryer isn't working. Fair prices, fast service. Would highly recommend! read more

The spring on our dishwasher broke, so the door becomes very heavy and we have to be very careful opening and closing it as the door will drop down with a bang if it isn't completely closed. Not that it affects the working of the machine, but it's a nuisance. I went online, saw some videos on how to repair it - it is a simple matter of replacing a flimsy string of cord. But doing no DIYers, we decided to call Mike for help. As all the other reviewers attest to, Mike and his staff came duly and checked on the machine. He did exactly what I saw on the videos, replaced the string, and everything is good as new. The price is very reasonable. read more

We have used Mike for about 8 years. We had just moved in and the doorbell wasn't connected. He came on time and as I was going to the door, the bell rang. My point here is that Mike and his coworkers are detailed. Our system is old and will need to be replaced but at 78 on a fixed income, dollars count. Mike and his co-workers never disappointed us. Never pushed us for a replacement but managed overcome various issues. Who will get the replacement order? No question. read more

Called to replace heating element. They came and announced fixed on We'd. Today Friday. Drier has never worked again. No reply to my texts and refuse messages despite paying $251. read more

Great service by Mike's ApplianceRepair! Texted them on Wednesday, and they were here on Friday morning at the time they promised. They were able to fix my dryer in less than 30 minutes and their pricing is very reasonable! They are honest, neat and clean (didn't make a mess). They did the job right and my dryer is working good as new! I am a very satisfied customer and I highly recommend them! read more

Mike is very knowledgeable and did a fl great job fixing our drier and cleaned a very dirty vent. Price was reasonable as well.

Honest conversation today with Mike's appliance. My outdoor under counter refrigerator was not working. I paid a lot of money for a True Outdoor refrigerator. He told me the truth. Parts are too expensive and hard to get. Which is exactly what I experienced 3 years ago with another repair company recommended by True. I had a broken switch sensor. It took 3 months to repair. I can buy almost 5 refrigerators from Home Depot for the price of one True. It is great to still see honest repair companies.!!!! read more

Mikes Appliances deserves five stars! They efficiently fixed my freezing-up refrigerator at a reasonable price. The service was prompt, professional, and saved me from a potential headache. I highly recommend Mikes Appliances for their expertise and fair pricing. read more

At first everything started well. He told me exactly what I should expect from his visit and that he charged $85 up front wether or not it could be fixed. He came by and thankfully it was something that could be fixed. He said he would have to order the part and would charge extra for coming back after receiving the part. I'm not sure why charge extra to come back as it shouldn't be the customer's fault he doesn't carry it, but I accepted. Part came in and he fixed the issue. I wasn't there when he charged my father. He charged him $20 more than agreed on. I don't understand what was the point of charging more when he was already adding charges for coming back. Is it really worth being dishonest and sneaking a tiny $20 and losing a customer? Plus risking a negative review. I messaged him about it and noticed he checked it but didn't respond. So take what you will from this experience. I left two stars because he did fix the issue. Can't say it was earned but he certainly made his money. read more

Esteban, Mike's son, came to inspect our air handler. We suspected that something wasn't working properly because there appeared to be mold growing on the plenum and there was a musty smell coming from the intake box. Esteban scheduled an appointment with us for the weekend and he arrived a few minutes before our appointment (super appreciated that!). He proceeded to diagnose the issues and offer us multiple options. We decided to go with some cleaning and resealing of the unit and acid washing the coils. He showed us that the air box was in very good shape and the blower was clean. He also checked the levels of freon and explained to us where the levels should be, we were close. When the air handler was installed four years ago it was installed in such a way that maintenance would be challenging. Esteban went ahead and removed what was necessary to access the coils and drip pan to clean them. He explained what products he was using to clean them and why/how he was doing it. After cleaning and putting everything back together he added a little bit of freon and sealed a small leak in the plenun... going above and beyond. AC is blowing very cold and the musty smell is gone. Will definitely call them again next time an appliance begins to act up. read more

I can not express my gratitude enough for Mike's Appliance Service and their technician Esteban. The night before my scheduled knee reconstruction surgery my dryer belt broke! Fortunately I had just finished laundry but found myself in a panic wondering how we would manage to get by until we could get it repaired. I found Mike's Appliance Service on Yelp and gave them a call, much to my surprise they had the part on-hand were able to get me an appointment for the following morning! Esteban was the tech that communicated with me prior to the visit helping confirm what the issue was to guarantee parts on-hand were correct. He arrived as scheduled, took care of the service and even sent me pictures of the repair (I was already at the hospital) along with well wishes :) I would absolutely recommend Mike's Appliance Service for any of your appliance or small plumbing needs. It's so difficult these days to find a service company that is reasonable, professional and committed to their schedule. Mike's Appliance Repair is definitely a 5 star company!! #supportlocal read more

I had an A/C guy for a long time, then (as it normally happens) we had a disagreement and I started searching for a new one. Thanks to Yelp I found Mike's A/C & Appliance Repairs. I used him around a year ago for my home AC, it was spot on! Then I scheduled a maintenance visit for a rented apartment, that was perfect too, and now he checked my home watcher (Samsung) and recommend me to buy a new one instead of throwing over $500 in repairs. As I write this review he is also checking the rented apartment watcher that had problems last weekend, by the symptoms he things it should be a quick and easy fix. Stay tune for updates since this type of services are needed periodically.... I can tell you that Esteban, his assistance (which has being the same guy since the first time I deal with them) and obviously his father who founded this company many years ago are HONEST PEOPLE. read more

Thanks Esteban and Eddy. read more

I was extremely happy with my service. Replied immediately & fix my dryer & didn't dent my pocket. Highly recommend.

Mike is great and service was great. We acquired his services for multiple issues with our plumbing and appliances (washer and dryer, water/plumbing issue, and new kitchen faucet installation) and he was efficient, honest, and affordable with his work. Also this is a family owned company so you know who you are hiring, unlike the call centers that most "plumbing companies" you find online that transfer you to a random outside contractor, which leaves the customer with no idea who they are really hiring. Highly recommend Mike and his team for plumbing and appliances. read more

My husband stumbled across this company when looking for a fridge repair company. They came to our house within a couple of days with everything necessary, including a new piece for our ice machine that was specific to our freezer, in case we needed it. We ended up not needing it, but we felt like they were very honest, professional and hard working. Definitely recommend! read more

For the past few months I've had issues with my AC leaking and freezing over. The first AC technician did a shoddy job that left our AC with more problems than it initially had. We had another technician come in and take a look, he mostly just fixed pipes that weren't installed correctly and a sensor, but he didn't really take the time to actually troubleshoot and see what was wrong. Yesterday, I gave Esteban a call and he was headed over within 4 hours. He came in, checked the unit, troubleshoot a few key factors, and within an hour he found out the solution. Definitely a must use if you need your AC fixed in a flash, with honest work to boot. Esteban rocks and this company definitely provided the best AC work I've ever had done. Thanks Esteban! read more

At last!! A competent technician that's not out to cut corners, make a buck, and over-quote!! Showed up early, had necessary parts on hand, no "mystery extra repair" required! Excellent job well done. Highly recommend to anyone for appliance repair and air conditioning. After fixing my dryer, I asked him about my heater on my central unit and he took a look, made necessary connections, tested power being drawn, etc, etc, etc.... didn't even charge me extra! In a sea of "technicians" out there, This guy is the real deal and is g. Thank you! 7/2019. I got a call from my tenant saying the A/C is broken and he had someone come out and check it -- said it could not be fixed and I needed to replace the whole unit (estimated cost would be $4k!). I told my tenant to hold off -- I was going to send somebody else for another quote. I called mike and told him I needed a new unit that I was told mine was not salvageable, to please go out there and get back to me on price. He went the next day and low and behold, was able to fix it for under $200!!!! Wow! I mean what company do u know that you call saying u want to buy a new unit (easy upsell) and wind up just fixing what you have instead?! Unbelievable! He will be my go-to guy for everything in the future ! Very happy Custer here read more

Esteban answered the phone on the first couple of rings. (Mike has now retired leaving his son, Esteban, to run the show). Although the company doesn't service my area (I am too far away, and I truly am), Esteban was so generous as to take the time to explain to me how to change the vent direction on my microwave. Home Depot, unfortunately, installed my replacement microwave incorrectly and now I am stuck having to fix it myself. Esteban was kind, patient and walked me step by step through the process. He even offered that I could call him if I had any problems. Further, Esteban even suggested what I should check out on you tube if I needed additional help. Mike, you left a wonderful young man with great customer service skills in charge of your business. Good job as a daddy and as a business owner! Esteban, thank you for renewing my faith in the kindness of my fellow Miami citizens! I would give you 100 stars if I could! read more

Mike completed the repair of my dryer today. I called Mike yesterday after reviewing all of the Positive Reviews. He promptly returned my call within 30-40 mins. He later texted me his ETA for the next day. He arrived on time and got right to work and completed the repair within an hours' time, if that. He also removed the lint build up in the unit. Checked the outside vent line to make sure it was not clogged and I was getting full discharge. And his Repair Cost was SO REASONABLE. Thank you Mike! They don't ever answer the phone. I have called several times during business hours and always get their voicemail. I left a voicemail around December 20th and never got a return call. I was very pleased with the service I received from Mike's Appliance Service today. My repairman, was named Esteban (whom is Mike's son and the actual current owner) and he really did a great job. He took his time showing me exactly what was wrong with my unit (heater stopped working) and had the part on hand. I think I got great service at a fair price. Will definitely consider for any future issues I have. Also for anyone curious, he does most handyman work and works on home A/C Units as well. did a great job. He was actually able to diagnose the issue over the phone and when he arrived confirmed his diagnosis. Pros: 1. Called him at 5pm he was here 9am the next day. 2. Fair price 3. No pressure for upgrades, no salesman's pitch 4. Esteban was very kind and courteous throughout the whole process 5. Very knowledgeable and informed me of what he was doing every step of the way and really wanted me to understand what was causing my fridges issues. Cons: 1. None that I can think of, I am very pleased with my service. read more

Mike is literally the answer to manny prayers after the reality of owning your own house slaps us in the middle of the face after things started to crumble one by one to a point it's becoming very overwhelming and then even more further when you don't know who to trust , where to start , how to do , when to call , and most importantly , can we afford it. I have to say that from the get go , Mike sounded very knowledgeable on the phone , very reassuring and very polite and profesional. He shared his suspicions about the issue with my Samsung dryer that died few days before , and once on site in my house he did not waste time , and the repair process was fairly quick as Mike was right on the money with the problem and also carry mist of the standard replacement pieces on his truck. Just outstanding ! Stop worrying anymore like my wife and I used to do , make yourself a big favor and call Mike next time your AC unit gives bad or your washer/dryer let you down or your water heater decide to die on you : His extended knowledge, tremendous professionalism and near perfect work ethic will leave you astonished and bring you instant piece of mind knowing that now a real PRO is in your circle !
