You arrived on time as promised, this is a very rare thing here in Miami. This service technician, Scott, was very courteous and knowledgeable and knew what the problem was right away. We can't be happier with your service and we will definitely continue to use your company and we will recommend you to everyone we know. -The Subil Family

I'm going to leave one star because I don't like being taken advantage of. First of all, I had no…read moreproblem paying the 100 "diagnostic fee" if it meant they would fix my washer. This washing machine did not want to fill with water. There was good water supply to the machine. Apparently, If you hold the start button and turn the knob counterclockwise for 7 clicks, the machine will enter diagnostic mode. Error codes are communicated through the lights on the machine. This is what they charged me 100 dollars for. This machine alerted to a faulty shifter motor or actuator as the problem. They quoted me 339 to replace it. I was ready to throw the machine but I am glad I did some research. The part was only 15 dollars and replacing it literally took me 10 minutes by undoing two screws in the bottom of the machine. I have no experience working on washing machines but I know a scam when I see one

I first called another appliance company, who charged me for a brand new motor that didn't fix the problem, then went silent on my texts. I found Nonstop Appliance Repair online and Victor got back to me right away. When a guy we hired to fix our somewhat problematic washer turned it totally non-functional, I…read moredecided to turn to my trust-worthy Yelp to find rescue. Service is good, we called late afternoon and call was returned the next morning. They came by to take a look and back the next day with parts, both time arriving well within the two-hour window they specified, with a heads-up call before hand. Price is reasonable and the $70 consultation fee is deducted from the final repair bill. The only reason I'm not giving it a five is that, after the repair guy left, we found that the washer was rather noisy. Hubby had to adjust the "legs" with a level. It's not something we've asked them to do, but if they had taken the time to do that, to make everything perfect, then it would be an awesome five-star service.

I ended up finding someone else who diagnosed the actual issue right away and fixed it properly. I'm not writing this to knock Mike's, since they've done fine work for me in the past, but this experience was frustrating enough that I wanted future customers to know: if something doesn't get fixed right the first time, make sure you're getting real follow-up, not silence.
