I'm going to leave one star because I don't like being taken advantage of. First of all, I had no problem paying the 100 "diagnostic fee" if it meant they would fix my washer. This washing machine did not want to fill with water. There was good water supply to the machine. Apparently, If you hold the start button and turn the knob counterclockwise for 7 clicks, the machine will enter diagnostic mode. Error codes are communicated through the lights on the machine. This is what they charged me 100 dollars for. This machine alerted to a faulty shifter motor or actuator as the problem. They quoted me 339 to replace it. I was ready to throw the machine but I am glad I did some research. The part was only 15 dollars and replacing it literally took me 10 minutes by undoing two screws in the bottom of the machine. I have no experience working on washing machines but I know a scam when I see one read more

They say there's a $100 fee to come to your house, but that if you proceed with a repair, this is applied towards the total price. But then, they quote you for parts, plus labor, **PLUS** THE $100! We scheduled a service, technician came out, didn't appear that knowledgeable and had to reference manual to diagnose problem ... I was even ok with that, after tech visit refrigerator/freezer still exhibited same issues, finally resolved on its own, our bill was around $400, Thereafter I called company, spoke with a company staff member and asked a question regarding replacing water filter on 2 OCCASIONS, i requested the owner Alfonso call me since he had called for questions before the tech visit ... NEVER HEARD BACK FROM COMPANY , why is it that once service companies get their money your call/questions no longer seem to be a priority ... so typical in Miami's banana republic !!! read more

Amazing prompt reliable Service. I text them late evening and the owner Alfonso was calling at 8am. Sent a repairman that same day and fixed our washing machine very professionally at a reasonable price. Had the necessary parts at his Van. Left every clean. Was very proper with my wife and gave additional advice to avoid future occurrences. Guy I spoke to was rude and had a bad attitude. They charge $100 just to come assess the issue with your appliance. A new dishwasher cost $400, how does it make sense to charge a client $100 simply to assess what is wrong with the appliance? Just booked an appointment with another company and they charge $60. I've used AG a couple of times now and I must say, if you are accustomed to the generally irresponsible nature of Miami businesses, AG will be a shockingly pleasant surprise. In fact, you'll almost feel like you're living in Germany because not only do they show up, they call in advance, are very tech savvy, and know what they're doing. And when they're finished, they put a little magnetic business card on your appliance so when it goes down again you don't have to go looking for who to call. Unfortunately I've had the necessity to call twice in the last 6 months, once fir my LG side by side (which I ultimately replaced), and once for my LG oven, which they repaired. They were fantastic. Our dryer broke on the weekend and I was able to get an appointment for the day after I called. Setting up an appointment was a breeze and the company calls about 20 minutes before the service technician arrives to let you know they're on their way. I am only giving them one star because Yelp did not allow me to give them less. Went through these guys because the Home Depot warranty plan sent them to me after they had sent someone else. The repair man Scott seemed bothered that he had to check my machine while he was there. He was not very informative when I asked him questions about what was going to happen next. I got called by another company stating that A GONZALEZ was refusing to work in my machine because another company had tried to fix it before. They did not even give me the courtesy of calling me to tell me they would not be coming back after they initially told me they knew what was wrong with my machine. I was overcharged for a simple dryer repair and the charges inappropriately included travel and parking time. I was charged $235 for one hour of service not including parts. I wish I could express how rude and money hungry this company is beyond the scope of words written in this review. They are the absolute worse company I have every dealt with. They are one of two authorized service repair company for LG in miami. They rushed out there tech for a $75 inspection of the unit. The tech was here for 2 minutes and said the compressor needed to be replaced, while you can clearly hear the compressor functioning. He said ooh it is the valve, but we need to change the compressor, condenser, filter drier and fittings. I asked why would you need to change the all these components if the compressor is working. The answer "thats how we repair this unit". I asked the cost and they said it would be $495 + tax for the labor plus the cost of the parts. When I contacted LG, they said they would cover the cost of labor and the parts. When LG got involved, A Gonzalez said they could not do the repair because I was not the original owner. The truth is the estimate was false and they were only trying to milk me for this huge repair. They then offered to refund me the $75 for the estimate because i said I was going to write this review on yelp...... I wish LG could read this review and investigate this company to see how many other clients have they scammed in the past!! I AM SO SICK OF MONEY HUNGRY SCAMMERS!!! read more

Seems to be more interested in the $75 fee to "inspect" your appliance than fixing it. Do not waste your time . Terrible service and wants to replace practically every part and piece in the appliance to charge you more or could be because they do not know what's really wrong with the appliance and they figure lets just replace it all and hope that fixes it. read more

Quick summary: - LG fridge shows ER FF message on display. - Upper part of fridge is not cooling, freezer is OK - Check the internet, defect is a fan in the freezer compartment. Fan motor can be bought for $40 online. - But attempting self repair (which can lead to disaster), went on to call LG Service, they recommend Gonzalez. - Called Gonzalez, very nice gentleman listened to my report, agreed that the fan is bad, offered to order for overnight delivery, but would charge $75 when the repair person showed up to confirm that the fan was actually the problem. That $75 could be applied to total repair cost, if I approved the service. - Two days later get a call, repairman on his way to my home. - We briefly discuss problem, and starts to work, disassembling the Fan plate, replacing motor, re-assembling everything. - Fridge back to work in less than an hour. - Cost was $202, including the fan motor. - Service was efficient, price was very fair. - Life goes back to normal, one day before Thanksgiving! Stay away! I opened a service request with GE because my dryer electrical machine was not turning it on at all, and my household is comprised of 6 people, so image the trouble we went through. According to GE, this company was responsible to repair the machine the day after between noon and 5pm. According to Gonzalez, they called us the next day and left a voice message stating they did not have my address right. So, around 1 pm on the day scheduled for them to come I called and they said they tried to "get in touch with me" the day before so I could provide the right address and that now no one would be availble until next week. How come you have the address "wrong" if the ticket with GE was opened through my warranty and that the GE representative read it to me (it wasn't even me who provided my home address, but the actual GE rep). So, their excuse to not go was really bad, and he was rude and very disrespectful to me on the phone!! My dryer machine is still broken! read more

My Samsung ice maker stopped working a week ago. It is still under warranty therefore, Lowe's recommended AG Appliance. Lowe's sent AG appliance the referral and AG called me the same day to schedule an appointment. It was first scheduled for the next business day but when AG realized the part would need to be ordered and it would take two additional days, we rescheduled the visit. The company sends a confirmation email with the scheduled appointment block. On the day of the service, the technician called stating they were on their way. Scott and Erick were very polite, professional and worked as a team. The motor to the ice maker was installed and were done quickly. They even cleaned some water drops from the floor. Terrible service! not worth even one star. The service guy called after the appointment window. He did not even called earlier to let me know he was running late. Then, he called asking if the dryer was stack to the washer. I replied yes and then he said he could not do much. If the answers changes the service because he needs another technician to help him, then this question NEEDS to be asked when placing the service schedule.
