Shane recommend a mini-split HVAC system to replace my crippled unit and it has exceed my expectations. The solution works flawlessly, is whisper quiet, and is unbelievably efficient. While I am wholly satisfied with the mini-split system and it's value, I am more please and impressed with Shane's expertise, workmanship, and attention to detail. Shane is and old school perfectionist who works quickly, cleanly, and is a craftsman. He and his team took the time to insure that all units, lines, and fittings were installed with the least amount of disruption to my home while cleaning behind themselves and making sure the fit and finish were better than expected. I am eager to review my energy bill savings over time, but I continue to be impressed with the value of the solution Shane designed and the outstanding quality of his work. Shane is the watchmaker of HVAC solution providers in this community. I would not hesitate to recommend Shane and his company, especially given the value and quality they provide. Quick service, utmost attention to detail, and honesty are waning qualities now, but Shane provides all these and more in abundance.

She lives in Redding (nowhere near me) and I know next to nothing about what to do with these problems. Luckily I remembered grabbing a business card from the owner of Essex Heating and Air Conditioning (Greg Unger) at a Home & Garden event my mom and I went to awhile back. I called them to see if they could help and they were able to setup an appointment later that day! I obviously wasn't there, but my mom tells me that a very nice technician came out and fixed the heater quite quickly. I am so thankful that it all went so smoothly - sending a stranger out to my mom's house isn't something I like doing, especially when I don't know much about them, but I'm glad we took the chance. They were upfront with my mom about the costs before doing any repairs and the speediness and customer service were really appreciated. I would definitely recommend calling Essex if you need help with heating or air conditioning - they were so fast, friendly and honest.
