As a sushiholic who's often on the go, AJ's has been my go to for a quick and cheap sushi stop. Sorry AJ's, but Air Guitar has my heart now for delicious AND cheap sushi! Like, restaurant quality for $6 bucks. Also, he sweetest woman working at the steadfast coffee shop inside is so kind, obviously loves her customers, and is a gentle and kind human. I hope ownership treats her well. I can make a coffee at home - but I can't create genuine sweet customer service like that. that's all natural, and clearly, she loves her job! This was my first time walking into air guitar and I was met with good vibes, great smelling food for a quick bite to eat. Today (Tuesday) was $6 sushi! I stopped in just to see what this place was all about and was pleasantly surprised to find so many cute little novelty items along with an amazing selection of drinks (alcoholic and nonalcoholic)! The place is very aesthetically pleasing, and the staff was so friendly. I ordered a coffee from the steadfast coffee stand inside the store and it's probably one of the best latte I've ever had. I got the spiced vanilla latte with almond milk and had the barista make it with sugar-free flavors instead. I got two breakfast tacos as well which are street taco sized and taste amazing! One stop spot for many items! Air guitar is a convenience store that also has a coffee and ice cream! They have a special right now that is $1 for all drinks til 2022. Pizza was thin, but soft and doughy. The ice cream was really good! We got the sea salt caramel espresso on waffle cone and overall it was delicious! Waffle cone was very crispy! Convenience store has lots of food options ready to heat up or grab and go, sodas, wine, beer, snacks, flowers, and clothes to buy. If you need to make a quick stop to pick up something this would be a good place. The price for all the items are overpriced so you are definitely paying for convenience. While we waited to for the pizza my friend and I shared a sushi roll and had a drink on the patio! Super neat atmosphere. We've been here a few times and this place was nice. We have bought drinks here and they also sold ice cream and pizza. Their pizza was delicious (tried the hot honey pizza) and I would come back for their pizza. I haven't tried the ice cream yet but it's on my list to try here. This is a cool place I consider to be a high-end boutique convenience store. They have a huge selection of drinks, snacks, hot pizza, bakery items and coffee as well as little gifts, fresh flowers and other unique items. Scoopwells Dough Bar is also right inside and a huge addition when you want a sweet treat. There are several outdoor seating areas and it's just an overall fun place to hang out and grab some snacks! First time visiting Air Guitar today and cannot speak highly enough of this place! I was originally visiting to try out Steadfast Coffee & Tacos, but when I walked in, it was so much more. The aisles are organized and aesthetically pleasing, the music was on point and every employee was happy and ready to help. I could absolutely go here daily for a coffee but would really find myself here to find one of a kind, local gifts for friends and family. Drove past this place a couple months ago and was curious about it! It's a convenience store but a fancy one. They have a lot of local products make from nearby businesses and also sell stuff from local farms like steadfast. They have scoopwells ice cream, and you can also get coffee here. The pizza by the slice looked surprisingly delicious too. I ended up getting an apple jasmine hard kombucha which I cannot wait to try. It's a fun spot to peruse. Cool stuff you won't find elsewhere, worth checking out and walking around. They do have some great organic treats I've never seen before, some very tempting stuff. It's not for everyday shopping, seemed more like a novelty. I've been eyeing this shop for a while and finally made it in yesterday for a business meeting. We grabbed a cup of coffee and set outside on the patio! The person working the coffee shop was very sweet. They have a sign up that says all beverages are $3, but both of our drinks came to $5.30, so still working that math out.... They have quite a few options: kombucha, tea, and intelligencia nitro cold brew on tap. All the usual beverages, and some specials like lavender lemonade and birthday cake latte. My iced americano was good! There are no outlets near any of the tables, though they have wifi. So that's a bit odd. I'd love to come back here more regularly to work but that makes it difficult. I grabbed a few groceries before heading home. The store was WAY overpriced but I still got a few things out of convenience and need. I tried a slice of pizza $3.50 for an average-sized piece (all the pieces were cut in different sizes so I tried to find the biggest one). It was pretty good, though the crust was way too hard and difficult to eat. It was a cute convenience shop, though. I'd like to come back and try their ice cream or grab an alcoholic beverage and sit on the patio. read more

If you are here for the first time, the first imppression you get is, confusion. How do you order what you want from each station? You go to the Pizza station and no one greets you. The guy just keeps making pizza without acknowledging your presence. Finally he says "can I helo you?" and I ask for a whole pizza and he says "go order it at the register" in a dry manner. A sign in front of each station specifying what you need to do is a simple fix. The wait is 15 minutes. The line is long now. I drove by on my way from a friend's and noticed that they had a sign outside stating that coffee is .1 cent until the New Year but I'm thinking that it was a guitar store so I drove into the lot being curious!( Noisey) I went inside but, before I could go inside I noticed a Lady outside pushing a kart with what appeared to have been mimosas. Still confused, I go inside to find that it's a "Store" Wine shop coffee spot... still unsure! They sell Tshirts and other products with their name on it, they sell coffee mugs with cute statements and they sell groceries. ... still unsure as to what they specialize in. I have been wanting to check this place out simply bc it was new and had a cool name. What finally hooked me in was the addition of a fresh sushi bar. It did not disappoint! The cashier greeted me and was pleasent to engage with, Staff were super friendly and attentive as I meandered around. Sushi Chef was joyful, helpful and genuinely excited to see customers coming in for the sushi rolls. Its nice to interact with someone who is proud of their craft. Sushi looked tight and clean. Smelled fresh and tasted great after I took it home. Exactly what I was looking for on this Wednesday afternoon. My experience here was very pleasant. I will gladly return to try more sushi and other items. Despite this really being an over priced convenience store... I understand the business strategy here considering the new apartments and high priced restaurants being built on the same corner. This place is a gem! This is on the corner of Higley & Ray right next to Agritopia and it's a convenience store (like a gas station without the gas ) First off the top: the name. Completely baffled me as I saw them rising their sign up a couple weeks ago. I honestly thought it was a high end Guitar Center that would sell electronics, no joke. But boy was I wrong. I am hopeful they will be able to get their name out enough to where we associate "Air Guitar" as a convenience store and not a guitar store. I used to live in Higley Park and when I did we had Fresh & Easy just on the opposite side of the street. When they closed, I was heartbroken! I'm thinking when the folks around the area get wind of this place, Air Guitar will probably get those same folks that used to shop at Fresh & Easy to shop there now. Doesn't have as much but still enough to grab for dinner or lunch to go. What is it?! A glorified convenience store that you don't feel grimy walking in and out of. I love their special unique offerings. They even have a whole gluten free/special diet area of the store which was awesome. (What convenience store has egg replacer and almond flour? ) I got a peek at their already made to go food and it all looked yummy and well priced! (Thank you!) I loved that they had hot pizza, fresh coffee and an Ice cream shop inside. Totally cool. And a long line of frozen food that had lots of healthy options. And hello they have alcohol too. But my favorite... probably the main reason I'll be back... BEAUTIFUL fresh flowers. It's so hard to get a nice looking bouquet quick and fast. Beats a target or Costco run for flowers. Imagine Circle-K without the gas station. That's pretty much what this place is. About half the store is alcohol (beer and wine). Most of the rest is junk food snacks that you can get anywhere. They do have a nice little patio to eat, but they don't really support it with what you can buy. If they had noshes, cheeses, little sandwiches, then you could relax on the patio with your glass of wine and some food. They didn't appear to have thought that through. They do have some coffees, and it was unanimous in my group that they were very good. Though very small cups. And they are pricey. You pay 2x what you would at Fry's or Safeway for the same items. Most employees were not masked, and very few visitors were masked. Apparently they don't know there is a pandemic right now. The music was too loud. Much too loud. It should be background, not in-your-face. All in all, very disappointing. I don't know what is "supercool" about them. If not for the coffee, I'd be giving them 1 star. read more

Air Guitar is a cute and unique modern type of convenient store. Loud, hip music is playing while you shop for beer or alcohol and aisles of chips, jerky and candy. They have a nice little coffee bar with muffins so you can grab and some caffeine and a snack instead of running to the coffee shop on the corner. They also have pizza by the slice, grab and go salads and sandwiches for when you're on the run. Yes, I expected the prices to be higher than going to a normal grocery store, and they definitely were. But it's a modern convenient store that feels like something out of Europe, what do you expect? I was looking for sprite cranberry and he said in a rude attitude that they don't carry that anymore and then told his employees that I was stupid. I think this place is pretty cool. Yeah things may be a little pricey for some things but it's so convenient. I love that there's a little something for someone and if you are in a hurry you are literally paying for the convenience factor! They are running a special deal on coffee all January and that was enough for me to finally make a trip and check it out. Someone had told me that the milk was pricey before i made a trip but It's not like I'll be doing my grocery shopping here. I mean honestly. It's more of like a place I'd go in a hurry for a snack, quick lunch or drinks, coffee etc. I cannot wait to come back to try more of the coffees on the menu I'm so excited to try. The ladies working behind the coffee bar were extremely pleasant so that's definitely an upside to anything and worth a second trip for sure. I had ordered the brown sugar macchiato and it was good. One of the cashier's tonight followed my husband and I out of the store, into the parking lot, and when confronted about why she was following us, she said "I was watching your truck" and ran away. She was staring at us while we were in there and giving creepy vibes. My husband went back to see if everything was OK, and she ran away. I called to speak to the manager on duty about my concern and was told, "She just likes your truck, the cops didn't follow you so you shouldn't be worried, thank you for concern," she then hung up on my while I was still explaining myself. Your sketchy employee comes off as a threat to your customers, and the female manager on duty the night of 3/31/23 has terrible customer service.
