Melissa (co-owner with her husband, Duane) was able to fit me into the schedule sooner than expected. Duane and his team are super knowledgeable, professional, and clearly experts in air duct cleaning. He explained the process to me and took before and after photos - the difference was astounding. They were really dirty and now they are clean and we are definitely breathing better! I will use Air Duct Pros again in a heartbeat and recommend you do the same! I also want to share a story that shows Air Duct Pros' honesty and awesome values. They turned off the A/C at the thermastat so they could clean the air ducts. After the job, they turned it back on but the A/C went off shortly after they left. Great customer service! No hidden expenses. The Air Duct Pros will get my business from here on. They give a short time frame for arrival and meet it punctually. Both Dwayne and Erik were very polite and helpful. Dwayne took time to show me how the cleaning worked, and took pictures of the ducts before and after. They take off every intake and duct cover and clean EVERYTHING, and replace them. All the toys and junk the previous owners' kids dropped down the vents- gone. Dirt, gone! Wayne explained the proper way for intake covers to be placed, and pointed out that the vents had been caulked before, which makes them look a little raggedy when put back in. I rent an old Rowhome that is always dusty. After reading around, it seemed like getting the HVAC system and ducting cleaned might help. I checked Angie's List for a few quotes, and Air Duct Pros were the first to respond (in about an hour). Their offer was better than the other two offers I received, and much more straightforward - $299 to clean the system with no restrictions. Another company seemed to have half a dozen things that could cost more based on what they saw when they arrived. I didn't like that. I scheduled online which was very easy and convenient. I'd been dragging my feet and wanted to get the work done before our daughter was born and ended up scheduling a few days before our due date, much to my wife's disdain. I got an email later in the day asking if I wanted to move my appointment up, which was great. I enjoy seeing businesses that are efficient and helpful. I got a call about 45 minutes before they arrived confirming my appointment which was very convenient. We walked through the house and did an inspection of the entire system, and the technician explained exactly what they were planning to do. He took the time to show me what the ducts looked like before they started cleaning, and at the end before they closed everything up. When he was inspecting the unit in my basement, he called me down to point out what looked like mold. He said he would inspect the system and make a recommendation if he saw any issues without trying to pressure me or scare me like sometimes happens with mold. All in all, very professional. The cleaning took about 45 minutes once they were set up, and it was very thorough. He showed me where a previous HVAC service had blocked where the filter should have been installed (I could not find one after taking the system apart on at least three occasions). The previous tech had apparently stuffed a filter inside the intake which had picked up a nice coat of mold. Source of mold identified! The technician suggested we perform some mold remediation and offered that he was mold certified and could take care of the issue, or indicated I could find another service. For the $100 no-pressure up-charge, I gladly accepted. He gave me a few options for what I could do to add a filter, and explained the pros and cons of each method. I ended up installing return filters rather than trying to mess with rewiring the main unit. Both technicians who came out were friendly and took the time to show me what they were doing and encouraged me to inspect the work. There were no hidden charges, and the service was finished in the amount of time to which they had committed. Overall, this was a great experience. I'd highly recommend their services. read more

I was not interested in specials that include one "free" main and one "free" return because previous technicians would tell me I have 2 or 3 extra returns and charge considerably for it. We own a town home which was built in 2007. To our knowledge, the duct system had never been cleaned. Air Duct Pros cleaned it and did it well. We called, received good customer service over the phone and scheduled a time a week out, Christmas Eve at that. They gave us a 2 hour window and told us we would get a reminder phone call the day prior. A day prior, a rep called and said they would call us the next day when they were 30 minutes out and sure enough, they did. They showed up in the middle of the 2 hour window and took about an hour to complete the service. Everyone should agree, this is great customer service. The two gentlemen who worked on our home were polite, knowledgeable, and personable. They took pictures of the vents once they completed each one and they were pristine. The only thing was, I didn't see what the vents looked like before the service. The $300 fee was a little more than some other companies but these guys used the right equipment, didn't up-sell us, were efficient, and told us what they were doing throughout the process. Other places had coupons and specials for $60-$100 for the same service but we wouldn't have received the same service as these guys. We also paid $75 to clean out our drier vent and wow the dust that came out of there. I bought a deal through another website, the team came out to my place and immediately started working. Always considerate, always polite these guys took about 2 hours to clean up the system (which probably hadn't been cleaned in at least 10 years). They are not kidding when they say the suction unit is heavy duty, it has a ridiculous amount of suction power and made short work of our vents.
