Our house is 40 years old and has never been cleaned ( we recently moved in).My wife and sons allergies were getting very bad. And the amount of dust, hair, rubber bands, spoons, ect that was pulled out of the system was unreal. As for the pricing, a previous reviewer wrote that it was very confusing and not right. I have to strongly disagree. All I had to do was ask ahead of time, count my vents, ducts, and returns. I came out with a price that was true as well as more affordable than any other company we looked at. The person that wrote the bad review also clearly failed to buy the Groupon online and was supposed to pay Vlad in person but seemed to get upset by that. Can't just mention it and expect to get the killer discount, you have to actually purchase the Groupon or at least pay the discounted price. Treat others like you would like to be treated. Beyond easy experience with Chris. My dryer suddenly started giving off a burning smell, which I…read moremistakenly attributed to the lint catch being overloaded. But even after cleaning it out, the smell wasn't going away. Then the vent started giving off either smoke or steam, and in a panic I immediately turned off the dryer. Thank God I didn't start a dryer fire. The second I shut it off and made sure everything was ok, I opened Yelp and searched for a dryer vent cleaner. Chris's Insulation came up, he had great ratings, he was super close by, so after calling a different service and going to voicemail, I called Chris. Chris picked up after the second ring. When I told him that I needed someone to clean our dryer vent and what had happened, he said he could come out either between 5:00 and 6:00 pm that evening or the next day. It was already mid-afternoon when I called, so I was surprised to hear him say he could still come out same-day, but I decided to have him do that since I was free and also still a little shaky following what happened with the vent either smoking or steaming.
