I was lucky enough to visit Aikon arcade while visiting Tampa during their opening. I had so much fun here! Got to relive my adolescence with claw machines and a fun Photo Booth. If you're looking for a fun date or something to do with your friends, definitely come visit Aikon! They accept card only. The vibe is right and every worker here that I encountered was very nice & helpful. I appreciated the tap to play refillable card feature. There were a good variety of cute plushies and the Gashapon options were all so fun! I loved all the cat themed options! They also had all kinds of blind boxes here. (YES LABUBU's!) I bought a few Sonny Angels AND Smiskis for my collection. Aside from plushies and blind boxes, they also had some very cool and rare snacks and drink from Asia. Saw chip flavors I've never seen before until now. Grab your friends& go have some fun at Aikon! It's also very kid friendly environment. Tampa definitely needed this!

Love the bags they offer and the game cards don't expire

Loved it! Prices were reasonable, prizes were adorable and staff was phenomenal! I felt the claws were challenging without being overly easy nor impossible to win. They definitely want you to walk out a winner with a smile on your face! I can't wait to bring this souvenir back for my daughter to love.

We had so much fun here! It's perfect for a date night. The claw machines have great prizes and the prices were reasonable. Amelia was very helpful and kind! She explained how everything worked and answered all of our questions. She really helped make our experience even better. We will definitely be back!

    Aikon's claw area!

I've been going to Aikon since October and it has truly become my go to spot to unwind and get that 'I wanna gamble but in a fun way' out of my system. I love the events every month and the small community that started up here!

So-so experience here. Machines were almost bare and the photos we saw prior to visiting sorta let us down when we arrived...Almost like a realtor taking photos of a home in wide angle where everything looks bigger and more grand. There's maybe 12-15 machines here that we played and lost mostly. Maybe won 5 times out of $50 and winnings were primarily rinky stuff like a little fuzzball keychain. Can't win all the time but there has to be an element of fun which includes some winning....and it sorta fell short in my opinion.

No scammy weak claws here!! Whoever thought to mix claw machines and blind boxes deserves a Nobel Prize lol . This place is a whole vibe with the lights poppin', prizes stacked, and every machine has some kind of plush toy you just want to keep playing till you win. One second you're going full try hard gamer mode on the claw, the next you're unboxing a mini anime figure, Labubu, or some cute lil collectible of the month. And the best part? You can actually win these games. Just skill, vibes, and a lil persistence.

One of the prizes I wanted but then I ran out of credits. So the staff just gave it to me.

It was an amazing place that had fair prices with the claws super strong and had a very friendly atmosphere. Would recommend going there.

Super cool Japanese claw machine arcade. They also have authentic collectibles and snacks from Japan. Recommend for the whole family to enjoy!

the place is nice and has a variety of blind boxes. i had been two times before with no issues, each time getting a skullpanda the sound series. my most recent time i got another box, but when i went to put the figurine on the stand it came with, it did not fit. the pegs on the stand are too close together. i called the store and they told me there's nothing they could do and to contact pop mart. however, on the website for pop mart it states "After-sales services are only available for orders placed through official POP MART channels, including the official online store, official physical stores, and robot stores. For orders from third-party platforms or retail distributors, please contact the original purchasing channel or the platform's customer service for after-sales handling." it's a nice place but it's a shame they have no policies for this other than saying "there's nothing we can do." especially when spending $25 for the figure.

Vy and Amelia had a great time won so many prizes . They were so nice and helped us win.

    bag full of our winnings

Some machines were harder than other, but overall felt very fair and definitely more rewarding than a typical claw machine experience!! We spent roughly $81 and walked away with plenty of plushies. We didn't get any blind boxes, but they had a great selection of those as well! The gacha in the back was also great, overall 10/10! Staff were super friendly and helpful, next time we're in Tampa we will be back!

Amelia and Vy are very sweet, helpful and their custome service is always great here!!!

Left side of the claw game area

First attempt at a claw machine dropped TWO plushies. Staff is so sweet and helpful. Space is clean and organized and I can't walk to see what new toys they bring in. Wasn't too crowded at the grand opening!

    Prizes won!

Enough games to keep the kids entertained while the adults pretend they're "just supervising" while playing too? Also check. My only complaint: whoever designed the bathrooms clearly believed hydration should come with cardio. The bathrooms are somehow in the furthest possible location from the bar... and upstairs. By the time I got back, I felt like I'd completed a side quest. Overall, great place for groups, families, or anyone looking to combine arcade games with questionable decisions at the bar. Would definitely go back... after mentally preparing for the bathroom hike.

We were trying to make it to the Gasparilla Children's Parade, but to our dismay, the Jolley Trolley was completely full by the time it passed through Ybor. So GameTime was an appealing Plan B. It has a TON of interactive arcade games, mini-bowling (which we did not do), and a restaurant/sports bar with plenty of TVs. Like other arcade places, GameTime is a popular venue for hosting kids' birthday parties; or you can just grab a game card, load it with $$ and receive credits with which you can play games. They offer timed play (e.g. $25 for 1 hour with 500 fixed e-tickets for prize redemption), or you can choose to purchase a reloadable card where you decide how much money you want to spend and you accrue tickets as you play/win. We loaded our card with $25 which yielded 100 credits. Optionally, you can load a custom amount and receive 4 credits for every dollar. With our four-year-old, we blew through the $25 pretty fast and ended up adding another $25 (giving us a total of 200 credits). If we had just loaded the card with $50 initially, we would have had 25 more credits (225). Overall, I would say value is pretty par for the course. The prize counter is where I felt they were lacking (compared to Main Event and other names in the industry). The games were fun and only a handful were not working or malfunctioned. That did not deter us as the place was pretty dead that afternoon.

We just let the kids bowl so they got through close to two games. There were three children total. They say you can eat the food and drinks in that area, which is nice. However, the way their food and drinks work is you go and order at a kiosk and then they bring it out so you pick up. They do text you, but we totally missed the text that said the food was ready so it wasn't hot by the time we got it. On a Sunday there weren't that many people eating in the food area. I actually really appreciate that you put in your order and then you get a text, it is much more convenient than having to sit and be waited on. They have California pizza kitchen pizzas and they're actually really good. It was very thin crust and the 14 inch probably could've fed my entire family. The kids also love the curly fries. I thought it was funny because you can choose either fries or curly fries, I chose fries and they came out curly so I guess you really can't choose. My younger son wanted the rainbow Road pancakes. Future Christina do not get the pancakes. He didn't eat any of it. However, the kids demolished all the fries and each ate a piece of pizza so that was a win. As always, the kids played a ton of arcade games. This time we spent $20 per card and let them run around with our friend playing. I was surprised how not busy this place is on a Sunday around noon. That is definitely great for us, but I hope this place stays in business then.

My only complaint was the way the food was set up on a long table area which was so loud we really weren't able to talk and eat and exchange our raffle winners. The indoor space is massive and two stories so perfect for even sports teams and large birthday parties. Check out their locations online as there seems to be a few throughout Florida.

When we walked in, someone greeted us, but they didn't really understand what we were there for. After being passed around by several folks, they finally guided us to the correct area, where we were given wristbands, and they explained the process. We were given two players cards that allowed us to play on red or blue games, and told that there was a buffet in another room that was only available for another hour, so we went to check it out. Highly disappointing. There were sliders with too hard buns, lukewarm beans, room temperature potato salad, and bbq chicken thighs. While my girl opted to try everything, I had 2 pieces of chicken and that was it. Drinks were included, but not alcoholic, so we ordered two off menu drinks (we wanted mules but they were out of ginger beer), then we headed to the gaming floor. Not only was it overcrowded, but the games were not fun at all. They had a lot of games that either catered more towards younger children, or just didn't work. We spent maybe 20-30 minutes wandering around, before we called it quits. D&B used to be a great date night spot, but it definitely needs a revamp. More classic games for the clientele would be great. It just gave the energy of a fairing Chuck E. Cheese. It was weird.

This jump place isn't as professionally sound as near by businesses or their genre of business type. They posted a Groupon for purchase by the public and reads walk-in's are welcome. We walked in same day as Groupon purchase and had to wait in line for a bit. There was only two people working and they were both busy attending to a summer camp that came in. When it was finally our turn to use our Groupon to start our kids jump time we were told we can't use our Groupon unless we purchase additional items such as socks for each child. THE ENTIRE SUMMER CAMP DID NOT HAVE TO PURCHASE ADDITIONAL ITEMS SUCH AS SOCKS. The children from the camp wore their socks they arrived in. They refused our Groupon purchase without the additional purchase of socks and we were told to take it up with Groupon for a refund. I asked that the owner make a courtesy to allow our children to jump since the other children from the summer camp did not have to make an additional purchase of socks. There was no mention of this on their Groupon at purchase and there were no professional signage with this rule or extra charge. Here is a lesson in business for the owners of "The Airosphere" on Ware Rd; There is a trampoline park located right behind your business. They have a trade in sock policy that's clearly posted in their store and on-line. WE GOT OUR GROUPON CREDIT BACK AND WILL NOT RETURN TO AIROSPHERE. We had to keep asking for more plates and cups because we paid extra for extra guests. They were still stingy. The pizzas were embarrassing. They were a tortilla with marinara sauce and toppings. We paid $15 per large pizza and I would've been okay with them heating up Digiornos because what we got was not worth it. Recent visit: My son is only 15 months old so we opted for the Toddler Zone but figured he might want a bigger space to run so we decided to do the big zone and he was charged as a full adult. Most kids until 2 are free or discounted but not at this place. For 2 "adults" for an hour, we paid almost $50! I can't recommend this place and I don't plan on coming back. It's sad.
