Review IF I COULD…read moreCHOOSE NEGATIVE 9 MILLION STARS. I WOULD. We hired Gamer Events for my son's 6th birthday party! We paid our deposit on time. We were excited about hosting a game truck party! The kids came on time. We even had a schedule so they'd eat & sing the birthday song before the truck arrived. The email stated they'd be here 15 mins prior. I couldn't wait to take the kids out to see it roll up! However, it was going on 3 pm; no phone call nor truck. So I stepped out on the porch to make sure I booked the right day and time. I also went back to the many reminder texts that I received. I called but there was no answer and that really pissed me off! I tried again; and finally received answer. I asked the guy were they late, coming, or what because we're waiting on the truck? Needless to say, he was kind of dumbfounded about the entire thing. He thought they only had one party this weekend (and obviously that wasn't ours). He told me "they missed it on the calendar, or should I say, I missed it on the calendar". Thinking to myself, "what does that mean"??? He then says he's not going to make it unless I want him to come almost two hrs later. I had to go grab my husband and walk him outside...so he could hear it. The guy said I could come another day or be there in 2 hrs. Well, that wouldn't work for us. I had to flip the birthday party to a Super Bowl party thereafter. Hence, the reason why we scheduled the truck at a certain time.....AND my kids birthday party is TODAY, not next weekend or the day after. My husband begin to say, "that's bad for business; get our money back"! He walked off because he couldn't believe it. We had to share that no game truck was coming. We were made into complete liars today!!! Parents, you know how it is with kids!!! I asked the guy, "what should I tell my son". He literally had no words. So, I walked in and asked the adults did they want to wait on the truck? Remember: it is also a school night, so changing the time does not work. We had family and friends drive in as far as Atlanta. Anyway, they all were like why? We thought it was coming at 3? Again, I now looked crazy and foul, like I had booked a scam of a company. I'm starting to think the reviews are fake. I am so embarrassed. Had I not called...we'd still be waiting on the truck! I could not wait to write this review. My neighbors made additional arrangements for parking (their kids were excited); and were also disappointed. We asked for a refund. Moral of the story, I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND this company because you won't know if they're going to forget you're on the schedule or actually show up! You will be taking a huge risk! Take my advice and book with a different company. Today, was EXTREMELY disappointing!

I didn't expect to have so much fun in a ball pit... nor did I expect it to be so physically challenging! The first time I fell, I needed help to get back up, and just walking through the balls was hard! The *shore* with lounge chairs & umbrellas was a nice way to catch my breath. Due to my kids' work & college schedules, Sunday was really the best day for us to go together. I ordered our free tickets online several weeks before the multi-week event began, and 5pm 8/21 was the only slot still available for a group of 6... That's how popular this event was, sight unseen! Once I realized The Beach Tampa would be closing at 6pm on Sundays, I was concerned our time would be limited. However, worrying was not necessary. At the entrance outside, we queued up to enter precisely at our ticketed time. Then inside, we waited again as staff monitored the number of people inside the actual *beach* area for safety and enjoyment, allowing people to enter as others left. The line moved quickly at this point, but we still weren't able to go in until after 5:30. Luckily, staff had already announced to everyone that even the very last person to enter would get a minimum of 45 minutes to enjoy The Beach. I really hope The Beach returns to Tampa!

Booked and paid for a paint session for 3 at Painting with a Twist (Sheldon Rd). I called multiple times over 2 hours before the class--no answer, no live support. I did not ask for a refund, only to reschedule for a later date. They refused any resolution, blamed "lost paint," and "no proof of phone calls" despite several pictures of phone logs provided, and wouldn't even offer a partial refund. Despite the fact that their failure to answer calls made well in advance caused the situation, they refused to offer any alternative, resolution, or even a partial refund. Customers should not be penalized for a company's lack of communication or basic customer service. I've taken many paint classes like this before and have never experienced anything close to this level of poor service.
