This time we tried out bowling and eating here along with arcade. I found the bowling to be very reasonably priced, it is $16 per person per hour. We just let the kids bowl so they got through close to two games. There were three children total. They say you can eat the food and drinks in that area, which is nice. However, the way their food and drinks work is you go and order at a kiosk and then they bring it out so you pick up. They do text you, but we totally missed the text that said the food was ready so it wasn't hot by the time we got it. On a Sunday there weren't that many people eating in the food area. I actually really appreciate that you put in your order and then you get a text, it is much more convenient than having to sit and be waited on. They have California pizza kitchen pizzas and they're actually really good. It was very thin crust and the 14 inch probably could've fed my entire family. The kids also love the curly fries. I thought it was funny because you can choose either fries or curly fries, I chose fries and they came out curly so I guess you really can't choose. My younger son wanted the rainbow Road pancakes. Future Christina do not get the pancakes. He didn't eat any of it. However, the kids demolished all the fries and each ate a piece of pizza so that was a win. As always, the kids played a ton of arcade games. This time we spent $20 per card and let them run around with our friend playing. I was surprised how not busy this place is on a Sunday around noon. The experience was frustrating and largely caused by one employee, Malaysia. I took every step I could to make her job easier, and she took every chance she could to prove that preparation alone can't overcome incompetence. I came to spend time with my family, not the front desk, but each visit was the result of avoidable mistakes that should've been done correctly the first time. I originally left a stellar review after our enjoyable first visit. Based on that experience, we decided to bring a group of 11 family members for a larger outing. This visit was completely different. I approached the front desk to ask how the Power Packs worked. Before I could even finish my question, Malaysia INTERRUPTED me and demanded we register using the QR code. After registering, I explained that our group wanted to do Pro Kart and Laser Tag with the Pick 2. Malaysia responded by SIGHING, ROLLING HER EYES, and saying, "That's not how it works." She said we needed to pick two activities not including racing. So we gathered our party to discuss, before realizing we could've just done the Pick 1 Power Pack. Why didn't Malaysia explain that if we wanted to do Laser Tag and Pro Kart, we could've just done the Pick 1 Power Pack? Rather than helping us figure out the best way to purchase exactly what we wanted, the interaction felt dismissive and unnecessarily difficult. Her communication was subpar. She mumbled under her breath while the music was blasting in the building. To make things easier for her, I paid for all 11 people on a single transaction. I wrote down every person's name for her. I took every step I could to make her life easier, and she somehow found a way to make it harder for both of us. The first issue appeared immediately when one of our cards was never given to us. When we arrived at Laser Tag, we were informed that none of our cards had Laser Tag access. All 11 cards were scanned. None of them worked. We were also told that only 9 players could enter the laser tag arena at a time, so we spent time splitting our group into two. Then Malaysia was called over. She walked up and immediately told all 11 of us to grab vests and enter together. So the limit changed from 9 people to 11 people within 60 seconds? After Laser Tag, we headed to the arcade and discovered that none of the arcade credits had been loaded onto any cards. I returned to the desk and was unfortunately met by Malaysia again. I said that none of the cards had any arcade credits. She smirked and replied, "We're having problems with our card readers." That explanation would have made sense if everyone in the building was having the same issue. However, seemingly only the 11 cards belonging to our group had problems while the dozens of other guests in the arcade seemed to be using theirs just fine. Throughout the evening we made multiple trips back to the front desk to correct missing arcade credits and improperly programmed cards. I returned at 9:30 PM, and Keith immediately noticed I was looking for Andrew and went to find him. Keith was attentive, kind, and professional. Andrew did everything he reasonably could to make things right, and I genuinely appreciate the effort he put in to resolving the problems we experienced. Nearly every issue we encountered traced back to the initial setup. Instead of spending the evening enjoying the attractions, we spent a large portion of the night tracking down missing cards, fixing purchases that weren't loaded correctly, and correcting arcade credits that weren't applied. When checking in, I recommend finding an employee that knows what they're doing. It'll save you from the attitude, the confusion, and the time spent fixing problems. Starting with the staff on our recent visit: Jayden and Mordy (Morty?) were so very nice, helpful, and patient during our axe throwing escapades and were great to talk to during and after. Myla, in the laser tag area, was hilarious, helpful, and fun, despite it being fairly late by the time we got to her we never felt rushed or like an imposition. Customer service is such a big deal in places like this and this past weekend, the service rose to the occasion. Elev8 is a fun place but that does rely very heavily on a great team. The bartender (Terri, I believe) was very nice as were the people running bowling and the 4D experience. The only negative we had were some of the customers. It's a great place for older kids. They have lots of arcade games. We weren't able to do the go carts or laser tags since all our kids are under 6. But the little ones had some fun running around. We did eat and the food was surprisingly good! We had the kids chicken tenders, kids sliders, kids Mac n cheese with edamame. We also had the guacamole and chips, Caesar salad with chicken and onion rings. The guacamole was made from chunks of guacamole. The kids food was really good. The chicken tenders were crispy and tender. The chicken in the Caesar salad was a little tough. But it all tasted good. I understand accommodating all skill levels but to put experienced like myself with newbies on the same track at the same time is wrong. It should be cart by cart speed control or you have the groups registered by experience, skill. That would make it way better. As it is already the karts aren't that fast compared to other places. I mentioned it to the staff how my one race was kept so slow because of newbies and they didn't care. I don't think I'll return because of this experience. So if you're experienced just be aware. They have a rope course that goes out into the mall! Eatery on-site also but pricey. Bottled water is cheaper if you go to the candy shop right outside Elev8. Very disappointed with experience. I took my 13 and 16 year olds to try out the go-karting. My 16 was told she was too short to race in pro and wasn't allowed in cadet. Now my 16 year old is only 4'10 has been told she will not grow any more. She was excited to try go-karting as she has never done it. My 13 then was told she was told she was told she was too tall for cadet and not old enough for pro racing. so again another disappointed kid. Tried speaking to manager but they just don't care. Great place with a variety of activities for all ages. I love that it it located in the mall . With a 15 year old and an infant everyone can stay entertained. It does have lot of potential, and being new there are some kinks to work out. We went on a Sunday , and although the lines for activities were not that bad. The Registration process can be improved. We would recommend having it an option to download the app where customers can register online and purchase activities online as well, similar to Dave & Busters . There were four kiosk located downstairs in the2 locations , all of which was not working when we arrived. Internet connection was down. But once we got to the line there were great and affordable specials. Packages start at $35 for 3 to 4 activities depending on what you choose. The options are mini golf, go karts, laser tag, arcade, rope course and bowling. Go karts were New and Electric. So you didn't have to smell the gas fumes. Top speed of 35 mph. These karts do not have power steering so a bit difficult to turn. So far one of the best go kart places we've been to in Tampa. Located on the second floor it is air-conditioned in the equipment is a newer. A bonus is the helmets are still so new they don't have an odor and sweat as other go kart places in Tampa. Note - there could be more signs. You enter at the blue door which will be closed so it was confusing on where the entrance is. It does not get crowded as you are assigned a certain time to keep the groups small. There is also an elevator located to the far left of the entrance. It is not labeled , also a blue door. Having a stroller , the elevator was very helpful Glow in the dark mini golf was a lot of fun. There are 18 holes . I would recommend hiring another staff member to stay on the course to possibly time large groups who are holding up the line. It took about 5 to 10 minutes waiting on a larger group of kids in front of us , so we just skipped them midway and that worked out well. The courses were very cleverly designed and we would definitely go back for more mini golf and other activities. read more

I'm not sure if they were just short-staffed, but getting someone to take our order was surprisingly tough--it almost felt like I was at a nightclub bar! Once we finally got someone to take our order, we ended up ordering all our shots at once. They had some solid drink specials, though--$8 margaritas and $7 "Cupid's Shots," which were reasonably priced. This place is a bit out of the way for me, so probably won't be my first choice to bring the kids back. I was, unfortunately, kicked off of the ride for being a danger to myself, but I still had fun regardless! I visited for the first time on 1/18/25 for my nephews birthday , the Bartender on day shift (white skin, mullet with a mustache and no beard ) was so rude to me and my family. As a server/ bartender myself it's very disappointing to receive terrible service when I try and be as understanding as possible especially if I see the bar is full. The reason I gave 3 stars instead of 5 was because during shift change the lady behind the bar replacing that bartender was so sweet and so kind and she made my experience 10 times better, I did not catch her name but she was absolutely amazing read more

I got to try the community preview of Elev8 Fun Tampa, new location at Citrus Park Mall. This I sort play center will likely become a hot spot for kids, youth, and adults, as it's has something for every age group. They offer Arcade games, VR games, Electric Go Cart, glow in dark miniature golf, glow in dark bowling, ropes course, laser tag, and soon to open pool tables area. Every new visitor need to get a card ($1) which can be refilled from one of the many kiosks with virtual tickets and credits for the. Various activities. During my visit, there were plenty of staff to help and talk me through their ticketing process. The facility is clean and equipment seemed new. They are still getting the hang of their systems though I didn't experience any glitches. The prices seem reasonable given the current state of our economy. This place is certainly a bit of a splurge for a large family. My hope and advice to the owners is to do level best to keep the equipment is great working condition, keep the facility clean, and please keep the patrons (of all ages) behaving themselves. Keep the staff helpful. If these can be achieved, then this elev8 location will surely be a lucrative and go-to hotspot for anyone looking to have an active night of fin indoor games and mores. No option to ride go karts with your family. Adults can ride adult track, kids can ride kids track but adults can't ride kids track WITH THIER KIDS? That's just dumb. I've been to other "adult" indoor tracks and my under 13yr old was able to race with me. Games would eat tokens, causing you to scan again and waste more tokens. I had a great experience here at elev8 fun! The service here was amazing, everyone was really nice and helped us out with questions we had. Especially Gamson, she was the one that helped us out with issues with the stations to do it yourself. Putt putt was fun, I liked how everything was updated and clean. I would recommend for the company to add more props to the putt putt. I also recommend having more space for Putt putt while your waiting in line. It's inconvenient to step on the green while waiting for the other green because other people behind us want to play that hole. The arcade was a lot of fun! Everything worked.
