I learned that this place isn't busy during the day on spring break. We started our day at the children's museum, which was insanely packed. After lunch, my son really wanted to come here, so we took him. I usually end up spending about $50 per kid for arcade games and that lasts them about an hour. My kids do run through money really quickly with arcade games because there is one game that they are just trying to rack up as many points as possible for prizes. I was so surprised by how few people were here at 1:30 on a Tuesday during spring break. It wasn't busy at all. I'm guessing this is not where families with younger children think to come, but being that my son loves this place so much it was a great idea. He does get around 2000 to 3000 points which then gets him some pretty cool toys. This time he walked away with a remote control helicopter, a sticky hand, and a foam glider. Just enough prizes that will keep him occupied now at home. This will continue to be a place that my son enjoys, and even though it is loud and there's tons of bright lights, it is a fun overall experience for the family since we aren't there for a ton of time. read more

Sunday Football deals! I saw this advertised online and decided to give it a try. II did wish they had the football game audio playing. Drinks: Pik a punch (8.5/10) & Strawberry Crush (8/10) Appetizers: Mozzarella Sticks (9/10) & Chicken Nachos (10/10) probably some of the best nachos I've had in awhile, I especially like how finely they chopped the chicken, making it much easier to consume. Also they didn't short you on the fresh toppings! Entrees: Smashburger (7/10) lacked seasoning and a little dry but the fries were great. Hot Honey Wings (10/10) these are probably some of the best hot honey flavored wings I have had, you can tell they aren't cheap with the ingredients and use lots of real honey, that created this amazing sticky glaze on the wings. Burger and fries & the chicken nachos were only $10 and the wings were 20 for $25, talk about a steal. This place has EVERYTHING! Putt-putt, bowling, go-kart racing, laser tag, and expansive arcade. It even has a ropes course in front of its mall indoor entrance. The issue is the cost. It's very high! $27 for one round of go-kart racing. If you have an issue with being in the dark and then surrounded by flashing lights or just mechanical colored lights and sounds everywhere, then this place is not for you. This is our second visit and much better than the first. Not that the first wasn't good, it just wasn't great. Starting with the staff on our recent visit: Jayden and Mordy (Morty?) were so very nice, helpful, and patient during our axe throwing escapades and were great to talk to during and after. Myla, in the laser tag area, was hilarious, helpful, and fun, despite it being fairly late by the time we got to her we never felt rushed or like an imposition. Customer service is such a big deal in places like this and this past weekend, the service rose to the occasion. Elev8 is a fun place but that does rely very heavily on a great team. The bartender (Terri, I believe) was very nice as were the people running bowling and the 4D experience. The only negative we had were some of the customers. Many lack boundaries or control of their children but there isn't much the staff can do about that. read more

It's a great place for older kids. They have lots of arcade games. We weren't able to do the go carts or laser tags since all our kids are under 6. But the little ones had some fun running around. We did eat and the food was surprisingly good! We had the kids chicken tenders, kids sliders, kids Mac n cheese with edamame. We also had the guacamole and chips, Caesar salad with chicken and onion rings. The guacamole was made from chunks of guacamole. The kids food was really good. The chicken tenders were crispy and tender. The chicken in the Caesar salad was a little tough. But it all tasted good. Wow. So really the food is what ruined the entire experience. California Pizza Kitchen has made a mistake by franchising this location. To start, I should've known when it was lunch time and no one was in the restaurant. Then, there's no one taking order, it's all online. After waiting for drinks, then comes the wait for a Cesare Salad that had brown and wilted lettuce. We sent the salad back because I'm not taking a chance getting my kid sick for a $15.00 salad. My daughter and I split a BBQ chicken pizza. And it was nothing like I've had in the past from CPK. We ordered extra Gouda, and it barely had any cheese at all, was over cooked and a total failure by this location. Obviously everyone else got them memo to eat before coming here. The waitress did have the Manager remove the salad from the bill and we paid for a burger instead. I tried this place for the go karts. I thought it was cool what all they offered to choose from. I didn't like the way they run the go karts. I understand accommodating all skill levels but to put experienced like myself with newbies on the same track at the same time is wrong. There were newbies that were crashing and caused the speed controller turned the speed down which affected everyone. It should be cart by cart speed control or you have the groups registered by experience, skill. That would make it way better. As it is already the karts aren't that fast compared to other places. I mentioned it to the staff how my one race was kept so slow because of newbies and they didn't care. I don't think I'll return because of this experience. So if you're experienced just be aware. Very disappointed with experience. I took my 13 and 16 year olds to try out the go-karting. My 16 was told she was too short to race in pro and wasn't allowed in cadet. Now my 16 year old is only 4'10 has been told she will not grow any more. She was excited to try go-karting as she has never done it. My 13 then was told she was told she was told she was too tall for cadet and not old enough for pro racing. so again another disappointed kid. Tried speaking to manager but they just don't care. They have a rope course that goes out into the mall! Eatery on-site also but pricey. Bottled water is cheaper if you go to the candy shop right outside Elev8. I'm not sure if they were just short-staffed, but getting someone to take our order was surprisingly tough--it almost felt like I was at a nightclub bar! They had some solid drink specials, though--$8 margaritas and $7 "Cupid's Shots," which were reasonably priced. This place is a bit out of the way for me, so probably won't be my first choice to bring the kids back. Great place with a variety of activities for all ages. I love that it it located in the mall . With a 15 year old and an infant everyone can stay entertained. It does have lot of potential, and being new there are some kinks to work out. We went on a Sunday , and although the lines for activities were not that bad. The Registration process can be improved. We would recommend having it an option to download the app where customers can register online and purchase activities online as well, similar to Dave & Busters . There were four kiosk located downstairs in the2 locations , all of which was not working when we arrived. Internet connection was down. But once we got to the line there were great and affordable specials. Packages start at $35 for 3 to 4 activities depending on what you choose. The options are mini golf, go karts, laser tag, arcade, rope course and bowling. Go karts were New and Electric. So you didn't have to smell the gas fumes. Top speed of 35 mph. These karts do not have power steering so a bit difficult to turn. So far one of the best go kart places we've been to in Tampa. Located on the second floor it is air-conditioned in the equipment is a newer. A bonus is the helmets are still so new they don't have an odor and sweat as other go kart places in Tampa. Note - there could be more signs. You enter at the blue door which will be closed so it was confusing on where the entrance is. It does not get crowded as you are assigned a certain time to keep the groups small. There is also an elevator located to the far left of the entrance. It is not labeled , also a blue door. Having a stroller , the elevator was very helpful Glow in the dark mini golf was a lot of fun. There are 18 holes . I would recommend hiring another staff member to stay on the course to possibly time large groups who are holding up the line. It took about 5 to 10 minutes waiting on a larger group of kids in front of us , so we just skipped them midway and that worked out well. I visited for the first time on 1/18/25 for my nephews birthday , the Bartender on day shift (white skin, mullet with a mustache and no beard ) was so rude to me and my family. As a server/ bartender myself it's very disappointing to receive terrible service when I try and be as understanding as possible especially if I see the bar is full. The reason I gave 3 stars instead of 5 was because during shift change the lady behind the bar replacing that bartender was so sweet and so kind and she made my experience 10 times better, I did not catch her name but she was absolutely amazing read more

I went with my Mom and Dad. We did the Mini-Golf, the go-karts, bowling, and the 7D Dark Ride. My mom completely destroyed my Dad and I at the Mini-Golf. We still had fun despite losing by a long shot to Mom. My parents had a lot of fun on the Go-karts. I was, unfortunately, kicked off of the ride for being a danger to myself, but I still had fun regardless! My dad definitely won the Go-kart race, as my mom was driving like she was a tour guide on a safari. My mom destroyed my Dad and I in bowling, unfortunately. Out of 3 games, she won them all. Super cool place to take kids in the Tampa area. There is something to do for everyone, so I would def recommend for kids of all ages. However, STAY AWAY from the food area. They have a small bar/grill with a super limited menu. Severely understaffed when we went, so we wasted over an hour waiting on some wings and pizza. I got to try the community preview of Elev8 Fun Tampa, new location at Citrus Park Mall. This I sort play center will likely become a hot spot for kids, youth, and adults, as it's has something for every age group. They offer Arcade games, VR games, Electric Go Cart, glow in dark miniature golf, glow in dark bowling, ropes course, laser tag, and soon to open pool tables area. Every new visitor need to get a card ($1) which can be refilled from one of the many kiosks with virtual tickets and credits for the. Various activities. During my visit, there were plenty of staff to help and talk me through their ticketing process. The facility is clean and equipment seemed new. They are still getting the hang of their systems though I didn't experience any glitches. The prices seem reasonable given the current state of our economy. This place is certainly a bit of a splurge for a large family. My hope and advice to the owners is to do level best to keep the equipment is great working condition, keep the facility clean, and please keep the patrons (of all ages) behaving themselves. Keep the staff helpful. If these can be achieved, then this elev8 location will surely be a lucrative and go-to hotspot for anyone looking to have an active night of fin indoor games and mores. Maybe the kiosk should say this instead of me looking like an idiot trying to press the login button over and over. Go karts are finally opened. But wait, for this hot garbage... No option to ride go karts with your family. Adults can ride adult track, kids can ride kids track but adults can't ride kids track WITH THIER KIDS? That's just dumb. I've been to other "adult" indoor tracks and my under 13yr old was able to race with me. Games would eat tokens, causing you to scan again and waste more tokens. I had a great experience here at elev8 fun! The service here was amazing, everyone was really nice and helped us out with questions we had. Especially Gamson, she was the one that helped us out with issues with the stations to do it yourself. Putt putt was fun, I liked how everything was updated and clean. I would recommend for the company to add more props to the putt putt. I also recommend having more space for Putt putt while your waiting in line. It's inconvenient to step on the green while waiting for the other green because other people behind us want to play that hole. The arcade was a lot of fun! Everything worked. Tried out the arcade at Elev8 for the first time. We got two cards for $10 each for 40 credits each. On the first visit, there is also a registration fee per person. The games cost so many tokens. The lowest cost was 4 tokens, but many were 6, 8, and up. Many machines were out of order and malfunctioning. The games also gave very few points for winning. I don't think we will return. There are other higher quality arcades in Tampa Bay. read more

I had a really good time at this place. We went on a Friday afternoon around 4 when they open the track for the go karts and we had the whole track for ourselves. Maybe it was the time and day ? I don't know but it wasn't overly busy which is good. They do offer a lot of stuff and the convenience of being in the neighborhood makes it even better. I am writing this review based on two separate visits to this newly opened arcade. Our first visit was on a very crowded Saturday afternoon. The check in prcocess was very confusing it took us nearly an hour to get a game card. First, we stood in a very long line of about 25 people. Once we got to the counter, we were told we had to go to the kiosk first. There were a total of eight kiosk three wee not working which made lines longer, signs would be helpful. Once we finally began playing games, three out of five were broken. Again, this is a brand new arcade inside of Citrus Park mall. I was able to get someone to assist us, but first, I had to listen to the excuse that because the games were used so much, they were malfunctioning. Apparently, they have not figured out a maintenance schedule. If I let my children wonder without supervision, as I observed to be the norm here would have totally lost their ge credits on broken games. Our second visit was on a less crowded Monday afternoon. Most of the games were working. However, I overheard a manager speaking to another patron, and he stayed the games were not working because they were used too much over the weekend. Perhaps they need less business until they can put an appropriate maintenance plan together. Both my seven and ten year old asked if we could go Laser Ops instead for our next playdate. read more
