She took them off the grill and proceeded to help 2 other guests (not together). When I said can we please get our rolls. She snapped at me and said I am one person. I said I understand but they are done and we have paid and need to get back to the office. She snapped again and said I will get to it when I get to it. Proceeded to help both customers. Rolls sat there for almost 10mins. I watched 3 customers walk out in frustration because they were not being helped. Management get more help and train the employee you do have... The convience of the Riverside Plaza, I got ahipoki while my wife had a sandwich a few doors down. I had a regular size bowl with 2 scoops. Spicy tuna and salmon. Fresh, good portions on a bed of brown rice and baby greens. I added the house sauce with garlic soy mirin on the rice and topped it with everything but pickled beets, including furikake. I have never ever posted a bad review until today. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. After an already decently high price to start off for the bowl , they charge extra for the tuna, pretty sure they charge extra for the eel and I think it was yellowtail. They even charge extra if you get more than 2 sauces. The portion sizes are insanely small. Most other poke places I have been to portion sizes are at least 60% more. They will literally charge you extra for a little more edamame or seaweed salad etc. everything. Did I mention the sauces too lol. It's almost comical how stingy this place is. The fish quality doesn't seem good either. The salmon for example looks very opaque , chalky and off looking. Honest to god I can't figure it out. It might be some sort of sockeye low fat wild salmon but it looks strange. By the time you've added a few extras to get your bowl to a decent size , you might as well head to your nearest all you can eat sushi and eat there , as the price Will not be very different. My one 1 bowl will almost equal the price of all you can eat sushi. Bottom line. Kinda pricey but that's the price you pay for fresh fish. Stopped by for lunch during the weekday and at first I was the only one inside the restaurant, but as I was checking out, the place was busy with the lunch rush. The ladies behind the counter were so friendly and patient with me (my first time there) they also gave me a few samples of the fish (no other place has ever done that for me). I got the half salad half brown rice "bowl" and the one thing I do like about the place is how they serve it to me in a plate more-so than a bowl, I loved that. It was just a better layout for my food vs trying to mix everything in a small bowl. I got two scoops of salmon, one was in a sauce and one plain. I also got the House sauce as well. Overall my experience was great and I would totally recommend this place to others. My only complaint is the House sauce is a bit salty for me, but that's just my preference. Just wasted time driving here , arrived 7:53 pm just to hear they close the grill station an hour before close (they close at 9pm). Well, there was still 7 mins left to 8, I'm pretty sure that would be sufficient enough to cook the order. They should post it on their website that the grill option is not available after 8, or even 10 mins to 8. P.s. made an order online, and magically got salmon bowl at 8:39pm. I guess you can order online but not in person... Came home and when opened my order, the salmon is more fried than grilled. read more

Love their poke bowls, the portions, and the amazingly delicious sauces. I've only ever ordered through take-out services (like Doordash or Grubhub), so I cannot remark on the interior of the store. This review is to shed light on this locations lack for cleanliness, COVID-19 regulations and extremely rude staff. Decided to finally write a review! This used to be one of my favorite spots for poke and I've got the chance to visit this place again since it's close to RCC campus. Ahipoke used to be so so so much better, but now the service is horrible and food only average depending on who you get... On one of my visits I walked into servers not wearing masks, preparing food orders haphazardly, and employees stopping to talk to off shift coworkers with a growing line forming. One of the girls taking my order dumped too much pure oil onto one of the bowls and when I asked politely for it to be remade I was met with defensive and rude attitude. I really don't like to complain without reason at restaurants and quick service places, but if I'm paying 12+ dollars for a meal and it's within reason I'd like for it to not just taste like oil. This employee was truly one of the most rudest interactions I've had with any worker over something very minor. She just didn't care about being nice to another person, customer service aside and it left a big sour taste in my mouth. At my last and now final visit , I really wanted to give this place another try to see if it was just the employees that day but sadly I was met with 2/3 workers from before. Again, very haphazard preparation and poor behavior from employees working that day. I'm just gonna have to find a new lunch spot in the plaza unless this place gets better. Portions are small, the "scoops" are tiny, there seemed to be an "extra charge" for most items I wanted.... servings were just small for what they are charging. $9.50 small bowl for two scoops of meat, then $11.50 for large bowl with three scoops of meat. $1.75 for each additional scoop, $1 extra for avocado, $1 for yellow tail meat. Actual ingredient it's were good, just not enough. I ordered the small and was still hungry; and no I'm not a huge person. I will probably be back if someone buys my lunch there. Just too pricey for those portions...sigh. I come here all the time, but today was the worst Visit. It's 2:13 2/19 and the female employee at the store is just the worst. She's extremely rude and then argues with you when you ask to add items into your bowl. She will correct you and say you didn't ask for that. Loll Like what is the point? There was no greeting or person helping me with my order for a good minute since she was standing near the side doing her own thing. The menu is hard to read! Everything is clumped together and why is step number 4 on the LEFT of 1,2, and 3?? I don't know about them but I do not read from right to left. I got a Large bowl with White Rice, Unagi, Salmon, and House Sauce (with other toppings like crab meat as well.) As for the actual poke, I really liked the quality of the Salmon! It was fatty, tender, and not fishy like other places I have tried. Most importantly, the fish was completely defrosted! (if they do freeze their salmon). As for the Unagi, maybe it had been sitting out, but it was fishy unlike the salmon. Another issue I had with the meal was the crab meat. It was way overdressed! Looking into my bowl, I can see that the crab meat dressed had bled to the bottom of the bowl. I could remember the meat being scooped into my bowl, seeing how watery it was. Well...to start, I've tried several Poki establishments and I can tell you that Ahipoki bowl at the Riverside Plaza was great. You are immediately welcomed upon entering. The team members behind the counter were very friendly and helpful in explaining and making suggestions, even offered up samples too! The selections of fish were of great variety, very fresh and flavorful!!! The sauce menu was tasty and added great flavor to the fish. Topping of the assembly was of course the awesome topping choices...What can I say...I had ALL the toppings and good helpings of course. I will definitely be back!!! read more

I asked her if tofu counted as an extra scoop and she said no. So I asked for a scoop of tofu. She charge me 12.99 and then she charged me for an extra scoop. Two dollars more. The food is really fresh i ordered both kinds of salmon and it wasnt fishy or the meat that is blended. And great presentation.

The fish here is pretty fresh, usually my go to spot. The restaurant for the most part is clean. I have seen some days when the floors are dirty, or food prices on the tables. The staff are friendly and respectful, they just sometimes give out the vibe that they hate their job or don't smile (that's just me tho). A con: The bowls are a little pricey and I dont see why they don't make a difference in getting a 3rd scoop on the regular without it being charged as a Large. The three store made drinks aside from the fountain drinks are very pricey in my book, but then again they are pretty good. Overall, the food and atmosphere is good. I love stopping by here when I want a fresh bowl of poki. read more
