Was impressed with this place. They have a huge selection of items when building your own poke bowl. Staff was nice as well. The portions are huge lol. Highly recommended for your poke cravings. I got the house sauce and spicy ponzu

Wow ! About time for a poke bowl place in Pasadena. I got in late Saturday night was going to head down to Webster for sushi while I'm in Pasadena and as I turned the corner I saw Ahi Poke and decided to try it. What a great choice ! This is fabulous! I got really good size bowl with 3 proteins , tuna Salmon, eel, then you build your bowl how you like it. So I started with rice on the base then I added seaweed then some squid salad, edamame, the tuna and salmon and then I mixed in the eel with the bowl, added mango, Tobiko- red , lots of sriracha, some sesame oil, and OMG! Small place and I was tired so got it to go with a drink and sitting in my hotel with the best Poke I've had other than my own. Sitting in my room working on my laptop eating my poke bowl this couldn't be better. It was really easy to order and build a plate and with all the proteins and toppings it was $17! Well worth it and those who haven't tried a poke restaurant try it. If you want sushi it can't find a sushi bowl, this is right up there! Highly recommend!!!

This is my favorite Poke place. It's super clean and the food is fresh. They've done a great job with curbside during covid.

This place was so yummy, and I'll definitely be coming back. The poke bowl was about $13.50 for 2…read moreproteins, and I got ahi tuna and cooked shrimps. Both proteins were 10/10, and the quantity I got in the bowl was perfect. You get unlimited mix-ins with the regular bowl, so I got almost every single one. I also got truffle shoyu sauce to go in the mix-ins and in the rice and topped it all off with ginger, wasabi, masago, etc. The service was great as my bowl was made fast once I was at the front of the line, and they were getting through the long line of people fast. The ambiance is pretty chill with a few tables, but it is a smaller place, and most people were getting the poke to-go, which is what I did too.

This spot was great with lots of protein and topping options! I got the regular size, 2-protein…read morebowl, with tuna and hamachi. There are very few places I know that have hamachi as a protein option, so I was super excited to see it here! They are generous with their portions and you get unlimited toppings (as you can see with my bowl). The only topping I wouldn't get is the avocado (which is an additional $2, and I didn't see the sign that said it was extra). The avocado was peculiar.... it tasted normal until the after taste was a bit fizzy.... indicating the avocado had either been left out for too long and fermented - it definitely went bad and they were still serving it. The avocado wasn't brown but seemed like there was an additive they added to keep it from visually spoiling. It kind of ruined the experience of the bowl, but I just separated it from the rest of my bowl.

Was visiting Galveston since I haven't been in a couple years and my group was craving some boba…read more I remembered that they had this place from when I went to school on the island so decided to go try it out again! The store does have a lot of parking so you wouldn't have to worry and plenty of tables. The reason I'm giving 3 stars is that we waited 40+ minutes for our boba. To be fair, they said that the boba would take 10 minutes, but we didn't know that it would take way longer. They did apologize for taking a long time, so that was nice! Next time I come, I'll try some food, but yeah, was definitely a longer wait than we are use to for drinks.

Okay, this is Galveston, we talkin' and most of the island primary food choices are seafood or…read moreAmerican. This isn't Houston not even Chinatown, but it's bringing Poke Japanese food to the area. They do a pretty darn good job at it too. Upon walking in, I was surprised by how bright, inviting, and clean the restaurant was. Two big giant menus; one displaying savory and another sweet. The staff were very nice and provided good recommendations. I ordered the frozen matcha smoothie with oat milk, donburi with tofu and pickled vegetables. The taste of the food was fresh, I wasn't a big fan of the texture of the tofu. That threw me for a loop. They used sushi rice for the base and the broccoli was okay, a bit bland for my liking. Their special sauce was very tasty. Need to bottle that up and sell it! The pickled veggies were crisp and with well with the rice. Slightly sweet then acidic. The matcha freeze was indeed creamy from the oat milk. They have vegan milk options: oat and almond. The matcha was sweet, but nothing over the top. Matcha boba was chewy and unheard of. Clean restroom and plenty of seating areas outside the restrooms. On the television, they play Netflix cooking shows which is nice if you're into that like me. Great choice!!
