I love the location and vibe of the place and the coffee was good but it's very overpriced for what you get. It cost $20 for an order of avocado toast and an iced coffee. The coffee was good but the avocado toast tasted and looked like prepackaged avocado was lightly smeared on top of the toast. It's ok. Not worth going out of your way for. And they sell muffins they don't make. Must be mass produced because they don't even label it to say what bakery they get the muffins from. Waiting for food is usually longer than you'd expect. Overall not bad, but nothing to write home about. read more

Cute, quaint little bakery in the heart of Pinehurst Village. Been open for a couple of months now so I decided to try it. Love the space and the vibe when you first walk in. Used to be a bank so very cool to see the vault still intact. The staff was professional and Sandy went out of her way to find us raw sugar and almond milk. The food was good but a bit disappointed in presentation and serving size. My husband ordered the Croque Madame from their brunch menu. Was tasty but not nearly enough. Very small portion for $10.00. Would suggest, at the very least, a small side salad or some fruit. I ordered the Quiche Lorraine and finished it in two bites. Very small and very thin. Only $5.00 though. Their mimosa flight was absolutely delightful. Would definitely recommend it. We were still so hungry that we ordered a second round of food. My husband ordered the cheddar ham scone and I the cinnamon roll. The scone was good. The cinnamon roll was good as well. A little too dense, in my opinion. My sister is a pastry chef so yes, I set the bar pretty high. For only being open a couple of months, I think the food is good but hoping their food will improve with time. read more

Absolutely beautiful building and nice location. We were excited to try this cafe out; however, we left before completing our order because the person taking orders was exceedingly rude to us. Also, there were plenty of staff members standing around and not acknowledging us when we approached the counter. read more

Great location, fabulous venue in heart of Pinehurst. The espresso was very good and the croissant super tasty. But Agora has to figure out it's staffing model---they need more help behind the counter and there are many kinks in the service. I expect they will figure it out but hoping sooner rather than later. read more

The food wasn't very good and the service was very slow. We ordered eggs over hard for my daughter and they came out very runny, and it took 10+ minutes to get them cooked correctly. After hearing so many people talk about the new bakery in town, I decided to give it a try for lunch. The building itself is beautiful, and the interior is spacious and inviting. However, once you get to the counter, it all goes downhill. Staff was slow and unconcerned about proper customer service. One young lady was filling orders, while another stood at the register just watching her and staring at the counter not engaging with the customers or trying to help expedite the process. My $12 BLT had 2 slices of bacon, 1 slice of lettuce, and half a slice of tomato on crushed, stale bread. I had also purchased some desserts to take home, and those were a disappointment as well. The macaroons were flavorless, and my croissant was burnt on the outside, but raw and doughy on the inside.
