These people are terrible! First of all- I was charged $1300 for hair extensions that DIDNT MATCH AT ALL!! After I was told there was no way to get a refund due to Bellami Policy I decided to call them myself. I submitted pictures and was within a 90day window of REFUND/EXCHANGE. Which was NOT what the salon told me. They had the audacity to try to stick me with hair I didnt even want. The fact that the stylist had to try and "fix it" should have been a sign that they screwed up and ordered the wrong color-but no they wanted to double down and try to gaslight me into thinking it looked "fine". At $1300 Im not looking for "fine" Im looking for a MATCH to my hair!! I was originally quoted $600- within 1-2 months that price went up to $1300 they told me it was related to "tariffs"- well guess what that was a lie too bc I got the hair else where for around $650 with another BOOTH RENT stylist. I tried to settle this with whoever is in charge there but they tried to claim they "hadn't heard back from their rep at Bellami"- well thats funny bc I got a hold of them right away and was told BY THEM to file a credit card dispute, so I did. I returned that raggedy weave to the salon 10/29/25 and today 11/24/25 they emailed me saying "oh we havent heard from you so we rejected the credit card dispute". Ok so you got a refund from Bellami bc I returned the hair, then you want me to pay as well?! No way!! These people are incompetent scammers double dipping- maybe business isnt so good bc they operate this way. By the way I got color mathced from Bellami by submitting photos of my hair to their online portal someone got back to me in minutes with the CORRECT hair color ALL VIRTUAL!! It matches perfectly and it was NOT $1300. Dont spend your hard earned money over there find a booth rent stylist who has a Bellami account and they will charge you MAYBE 20% over cost- these people are PIGS charging me double and it looked like I went to a discount hair store or some shady alley in LA to buy that hair. IT DIDNT LOOK LIKE $1300 WAS SPENT I'll tell you that! Well who knows I filed another dispute MAYBE they will do the right thing and admit this is shady and wrong, but I wont hold my breath. I'm giving this place 1 star and I didn't even get to go. I made an appointment for today at 11:30am. They called me at around 10:00am to tell me the hairdresser (Lindsey) was running late, to come for the appointment at 12pm. I had a lunch reservation at 1:30pm in Malibu, so I requested someone else to do it. They called me again, saying that nobody else was available. They asked me what I wanted done, which was said when the reservation was made. Blow dry and STYLE. I told her (Giselle, who was the person I was in contact with) that I wanted a high pony tail. She immediately told me that would take longer and they were not aware. I was baffled. They said that was an UPDO. It's a PONYTAIL. They then told me with style they use tools. A pony tail is A RUBBER BAND AND A BRUSH! Then, she told me a high pony tail would take longer, and that the earliest time I could come was 11:45am. They told me she wouldn't be done by 1pm, that she had to "analyze my hair" when I made it in. I hung up, but decided to call back and cancel. I actually did my own hair in 45 minutes. I've been driving to West Hollywood for years but now that I live in the San Gabriel Valley, I wanted to try something closer to home. Mayra did not disappoint. My mom & I had an amazing experience at Agencé salon. The staff were welcoming and attentive, and my mom's stylist Mayra really listened to what my mom wanted. It's was a little challenging since my mom is a recovering cancer Patient who lost some hair because of her radiation therapy most recently. With a significant bald spot in the back of her hair, Mayra worked her professional MAGIC! The cut was precise, stylish, and easy for my mom to maintain and Style on her own, which was the main goal. My mom has to use a walker to get around & what I loved most was that not only was Mayra attentive to her, but also all the staff was too. Opening and holding the door for her, offering bottles of water and making sure she was comfortable. As soon as the staff saw my mom using her walker the staff decided they would swap chair stations so that Mayra could cut my mom's hair at a station closest to the entrance. My mom really appreciated not having to walk all the way to the back of the salon where Mayra's station is actually at. The team all went above & beyond to make sure she got the absolute best service. I've never seen something so kind and caring at a Solon like this. Not too long ago I decided to go to this Agence salon in Monrovia because it looked fancy and I thought of its fancy and looks good maybe they would be able to handle the service I want provided. I was wrong. Everyone was nice and everything I just was very unhappy with the outcome especially after paying a lot of money per session. I had two sessions done. My goal was to get from black to brown. I had years of black box dye on my head and going in I knew it would be a challenge and that I would have to spend a bit. That was fine. But to pay as much for the outcome I got I think is unfair. First session, not all the black dye came out which is to be expected so I wasn't mad. I go in for a second session with the same stylist to get the rest of the box dye out hopefully. She was successful in that regard but unfortunately my hair was dead. After that session I lost my wave pattern and it won't curl. I'm now having to spend more money on products to get it to have any sort of pattern and I cut so much off it it still won't curl. When she brushed it I felt the struggle to comb it, it was very dry. On top of that, not matching the color of the many inspo photos I provided. I felt bad saying anything because she was kind so I left out the door pretending I liked my hair and that was a mistake. I should've said it right there but I didn't. A day or two after I decided instead of blowing it out of proportion I thought I'd text her, go to her directly. I texted her kindly about my concerns and she didn't acknowledge them and just suggested i purchase the products she recommended. I would've loved some sort of acknowledgement, offer, or apology. Anything. Soon after I contacted the salon. The salon said they couldn't give me a refund so they offered me a complementary treatment/mask for the day. I appreciated their offer and I took it. Unfortunately it does not undo what has been done to my hair. My confidence is low, I hate how my hair looks, and I now have to wait a very long time to get my hair healthy again. She took the time to hear what I wanted and we went through different pictures to make sure she understood what look I was going for.
