This was the worst haircut I've ever had. I agree with the jasmine and the other reviewer. She was rude, very unprofessional. I commented on the parts that were choppy and as if it was layered, she said I was insulting, when I question about my own hair! I was trying to polite, and as jasmine said in her review "it's ok. I have thick skin." But my hair is so messed up. I will have to pay another person to fix it. I wanted a nice haircut to go on interviews , but now I'm embarrassed to say the least. Worst when I kept messing with it she said I was clearly unhappy with it so she proceeded to chop more off. I've been to many hair salons, I have never seen the technique that she used. She just kept chopping like she was pissed off that I wasn't happy. I just said it is fine just to get out of there. Wow! Veronica is truly an expert at what she does. I've been searching for a go-to salon in LA for a while now to no avail, but lo and behold - she's become my go-to. I called to make an appointment and she was able to squeeze me in 2 weeks later on a weekend (she's by appointment only). I let her know that I wanted layers and she showed me how much she would cut off when I requested 5 inches, which was perfect. She took her time and I could tell she was very detail oriented. I AM IN LOVE!! I have had a fear of hairdressers since my sophomore year of high school when I had the WORST haircut of my life. Since then, i have only had my hair cut my hair twice and each time, I went into the salon with a very nervous stomach and a fast-beating heart. Anyway, I have never had my hair dyed before and it is super duper long (to my butt) and very fine. I wanted a change in my hair because I never curl it, straighten it, or anything -- it was just boring, black, and straight. I decided to get a bayalage ombré because it's more natural and I wouldn't have to worry about my roots growing and showing. I yelped every possible hair salon and called and asked questions. I settled with Veronica because I know many people who have gone to her and a lot of youtubers too! Also, she is used to working with long Asian hair so that was a plus! My consultation with her was very efficient and quick and we booked an appointment for me for the very next week! Today was the day of my appointment and I was pretty nervous. Veronica was right on time ready to start with me after her previous customer. When I sat down, my anxiety just disappeared! She was so sweet and never made me feel awkward or anything. If there was silence, it was comfortable. The whole process took 5 hours exactly. I was a bit nervous towards the end because I didn't know how it would turn out because my hair was still wet and it looked normal. However, Veronica promised me that it would be lighter and that I would love it. When she finished blow drying my hair, I was EXTREMELY pleased with the results. It was not too light and not too dark, which was exactly what I had asked for!! It is so natural and oh -- when she cut my hair, she asked me exactly how much to cut off and listened to what i wanted, something rare in a lot of stylists that I love!
