The stylists at this salon tend to take their time and let the coloring sit longer, which I have come to appreciate greatly. Except the first time when I went, I didn't know, that their services take longer and ended up running late to my event, which was stressful. Now I plan extra time when I go. I really only had one bad experience and the issue was addressed promptly and professionally by Judy, the owner. So all in all, a really good salon for the Monrovia/Arcadia/Duarte area.

As far as my trim experience goes - Judy was fantastic! She was ready right on time, super friendly and welcoming, and did a great job on my trim - just as I asked. I would most definitely book Judy again! And there was a beautiful young woman getting an updo in the chair next to me and it was magnificent! I was impressed how gorgeous it was so they definitely do great work here! They have an online appointment portal that seemed easy to use and I'll try it next time - but I was hesitant initially bc the prices seemed quite exorbitant and wanted to be sure I wasn't mistaken so I sent an inquire instead. Turns out, yes, their prices are shocking imo - for just a tiny trim of my hair and bangs (less than an inch off) it was $70!! And that's not including the tip! No shampooing or styling even! So that was quite jarring for me - but the prices seem to pretty standard in this part of Monrovia. Be prepared for sticker shock lol. But to their credit, the shop is in an excellent location, is clean, modern, and chic and the stylists do great work. There are some parking spaces directly out front but it's limited - but the surrounding area is walkable with tons of free public lots. If you do book with Let's Go - I highly recommend Judy!

I love this little salon in the heart of old town Monrovia. The salon is open and warm. And you're always warmly greeted by the people there. I almost don't wanna recommend Erika because then she will be fully booked all the time, but I can't recommend her enough. She's warm and friendly, and I love the way she highlights my hair. I always get so many compliments afterwards. Each time I go, we go over what I want done and she takes the time to get it just right. I asked the receptionist what THEIR most convenient time would be to come in, and she said that because I wanted a "specialized haircut" that Maria would be the best stylist for me. Maria was in the background and I heard her say that 9 am on September 13th would work for her, the receptionist repeats this to me. That works for me, the earlier the better. They told me that the base charge would be $65, but once I told them that I wanted an A-line bob, I was told that this "specialized" haircut would start at $75. I'm not even asking for the super short graduated back of the head, just leave my front pieces slightly longer than the rest of the bob. I only need about 2 inches taken off the back anyway. I get to the salon, and it's a ghost town. When I looked them up last week, I saw they open at 10 am, so when they scheduled me for 9 am, I assumed Maria would be here before opening to do my hair. Nope. Waited about 10 mins, called both the Bellisima AND My Chair by Maria phone numbers, nothing. I'm just so confused. Maria herself said 9 am, so why is it 9:23 and I'm STILL not getting my hair done? Super unprofessional, super unreliable, and I'll never give this place a second glance again.
