Eventually it was 12:30 and they wrapped up. 3 days later i called because all of the windows had dirt under the tint but i just wanted the pass front window and windshield re-done because those were terrible. Again i took a day off work, dropped off at 8am. They started on the truck at 3pm. I know this because i showed up and walked in. Turns out they tinted it with the wrong tint. So they fixed it again.... Still a glob of adhesive (I'm guessing from the tint) and a bunch of highly visible dirt in the windshield and side window. Im giving up on this place as they honestly just don't care about other peoples cars even after paying $750 for a pickup truck to be tinted with their "tier 1 ceramic tint". When my windshield eventually cracks. I'll have another glass shop replace the glass and tint the windshield correctly. My wife tool a risk and had her $30k 2025 pilot done here a few weeks after my issues. They completed her entire car in 1.5hrs somehow with zero issues. But mine took 1.5 days on two separate occasions and 2 (technically 3) attempts and it's still not right in my $92k truck.

We chose Tint Cartel to do ceramic tint on our Tahoe and it was obvious from the start that they…read moretake a lot of pride in providing an outstanding customer experience. JP was great to work with, no sales pressure whatsoever, and our car looks beautiful! We were specifically looking for Llumar film. The quality of film AND the skill of the installer makes big difference in the longevity and performance of the product and I could immediately tell the ceramic tint made a HUGE difference with the inside temperature of the car. (It's been between 109 - 117° this week) Both the quality of the tint and the customer experience is superior! I will definitely be recommending Tint Cartel to our friends and family!!

I recently purchased a 2026 Tesla Model Y and quickly realized how much unwanted heat the Arizona…read moresun was generating through the windows and sun roof. I searched Grok (AI) for the top three window tinting businesses in the Phoenix East Valley that specialize in Teslas, and Blackout was consistently ranked among the best. One of the reasons was their use of the Kavaca Nano Ceramic IR film, which blocks more than 99% of harmful UV rays while significantly reducing heat inside the vehicle. The customer service provided by Daniel was excellent. He responded quickly whenever I called or texted, was extremely knowledgeable about the different window tinting products on the market, and clearly understood the unique challenges presented by Tesla sun roofs. He took the time to explain the benefits of the Kavaca product and helped me choose the best option for reducing heat while maintaining great visibility and appearance. The installation went smoothly, the quality of the work was top-notch and now I'm enjoying the comfort of driving AZ in a "cool" car! I would definitely recommend Blackout AZ to anyone looking for high-quality window tinting. It's a good way to beat the Arizona heat.

would leave zero stars if I could. I brought my new 2026 Toyota Camry in to blackout tint the day…read moreafter I purchased it. I dropped off at 9 and never received a call or text so I called around 230 only to receive a text back saying it should be done in an hour. I go there to pick it up after the hour has passed and beyond and it's still not done. I was then told that the visor was being redone, first clue.... Then after a while passes by in waiting in the lobby and hear music so loud coming from the shop that it's shaking the walls. I was then told they are moving around cars to get mine out. I got my car when it was done and walked around. I saw several areas of bubbling which I've never seen before on previous vehicles being tinted elsewhere but they told me it's normal and will go away. Time will tell. I drive to the store and walk around and see a huge burnt/melted plastic piece on the outside of the B panel mounding. It looked like they melted it with a heat gun. I call the shop immediately and no answer. I then get a text saying we missed your call and I replied with the picture of the burnt paneling. I am told the issue will be fixed. I tell him I want it fixed by a Toyota dealer because it is a brand new car and I am told that in the agreement I signed that they do repairs. I called the dealer and was told the part is $42 and labor would be about $180. I then tell them the cost and he said he needs to ask his boss to get approval to reimburse costs from the dealer. To be continued.... Also to add. When my car was taken out of their service garage and brought up front, a young male with sagging pants got out. When I sat in my car I immediately smelled smoke. So I don't know if he just smelled like it really bad and it passed off into my new car or they were smoking in the garage. Either way not a pleasant smell especially since my wife had asthma and I have small children. I later found water all over my floor mats and several cut pieces of tiny laying in the cabin. Not a big deal if it was only that but the biggest issue is that they damaged my brand new car. The person that did it had to have known. I will post later with an update as I am supposed to hear back tomorrow from the boss. Beware!
