He took out his power washer and buffer on the spot and got almost all of it off right then and there in about 5 minutes, then explained what it would take to really get the rest of the staining off, with a decent quote to do the whole car. I had the property manager of my work building call him to pay for the service, then Scott got me scheduled on a weekend, picked up my car first thing in the morning, drove it to his shop for the job, and drove it back when he was done. He was very communicative and honest, quick to respond to my texts, and knows his stuff. When he brought my car back looking almost brand new, I fell in love with her all over again. Scott walked me through everything he did, recommended how to keep it looking nice, also pointed out how the paint on the hood is beginning to suffer some micro cracks from this awful heat and what to do about it. He also noted an oily residue on the engine that he couldn't completely get rid of and advised I might want to ask a mechanic about it just in case. Scott does good work, he's easy to talk to, punctual, and knows what he's doing. For the work he did and in this kind of heat, I'd say it would be worth every penny even if I'd been spending it myself. I'm going to want to have this done again next year, I know that for sure. As soon as I got onto the freeway I heard glass cracking and went back thinking the glass may have been faulty somehow. Needless to say they showed where a small rock hit the edge of the windshield and started the cracking. Not Even 2 Mile... yep felt like I just thew $ away. Smart Film could had walked away rightfully so but instead they made the decision to take care of a customer's misfortune. Some researching and i found Debra and Jesse with Mountainside Glass. Debra handled the insurance claim for me so I literally had to do nothing on my end. And both Debra and Jesse reassured me that they would take good care of me. While Jesse was there, the hubby asked about a chip in his windshield and Jesse took care of that since he was at the house anyway. Chip repair was pretty reasonably priced. From the first call last Monday with Debra to Jesse performing the replacement 2 days later, it was nothing short of a great experience.
