I went to the East Wenatchee store yesterday looking for gardening hand tools--weed puller, hand…read morespade for potting, hand claw for tilling. I couldn't find anything because the store does not have signs on the isles. I returned to the cash register and asked the lady where the garden supplies are. She didn't know, but called a co-worker to help me. The co-worker said they don't have small hand tools...they only have large tools like shovels. How can a store specializing in gardening supplies not have hand tools?!?! I settled for a bag of blue Diamond Cat Food because it was a ripped and repaired bag for 20% off. The gal at the register couldn't find the QR code so had to call for the same co-worker, who in turn went to go to the cat food section to find the price. Finally, with the 20% discount, I paid the same price Walmart charges for the exact same product. The whole experience doesn't say much for this store. ----------------------------

They have racks of items on sale but mixed in every sale rack are items that are not. The signage is not clear about the sale. You might think the item is $29.99 on sale but the reality is they pepper the rack with full price items at $50. They do not apologize nor do they fix the problem when brought to their attention. All said if you have a lot of time to run back and forth to the register to see if an item is actually on sale then it's a good place.

I would like to give the Leavenworth Store clerk Tyler McKinnley big kudos for top notch customer…read moreservice! After being a 40+ year customer of Marson's in Leavenworth, I've grown to really love the store and the employees that work there. After the purchase of Marson's by TAL Building centers, I was at first a little frustrated with the change. Now, all the store clerks are fantastic and very helpful. What makes Tyler stand out for me is that he always goes above and beyond to serve my needs as a customer and contractor. For example, his knowledge of the POS system allowed him to make some much needed changes to my sub-accounts in my company charge account. He was very conscientious about asking the right questions and made the necessary changes without any further prodding. I super appreciate everything he does for your company. He deserves a raise or promotion or both. Thank you Tim for hiring great people!

I had never been to a Hobby Lobby before and was surprised how many lovely decor choices this one…read morehad. I thought it was more of a craft store but it actually has tons of home decor in themed categories like USA, Beach House, Princess, Glam, etc. The store was clean and well organized and the employees were super friendly and went out of their way to help us find things. The cashier who checked me out was very friendly. One annoying thing happened though - they did not offer any bags (unless I bought a $1.50 "reusable" bag that was ugly and too big and I'd never use again) at all. Our state recently has an enviro-friendly bag mandate where you have to buy re-usable plastic bags for 8 cents. No biggie. I had JUST been to Target and Walmart and both of those places had plenty of 8 cent bag options to wrap my merchandise (I'd spent $400 at Target and $300ish at Walmart). Hobby Lobby didn't have a single bag available to wrap a canvas art "painting" in so I could get it to my car in the rainstorm without the paint getting wet. So, I had to put the item aside and not buy it since the cashier had no idea how she would wrap it so I could get it to the car without being ruined. While I wish I had thought to bring reusable bags with me in the car, I hadn't known I was shopping that day so I hadn't planned ahead. It seems a little ridiculous that Target and Walmart can figure out how to protect purchases and Hobby Lobby hasn't figured it out yet. So, if I go there again, I'll have to plan ahead and bring my own bags or not buy big things that don't fit in bags.

In fact, I was rather appalled at the treatment I received at one of the largest and well known furniture and mattress stores in East Wenatchee. On my way home I happened to see the sign for Perfect Fit and stopped in. I was greeted by Marcy and after explaining the dilemma I had with my room layout she made several valuable suggestions. No high pressure, no arm twisting, just a genuine desire to help. I left and went home to take some additional measurements. Went back the next day and purchased a box spring and mattress set along with a complete bed frame. Marcy and her husband delivered it when we needed it and made sure it was set up to our satisfaction. After looking over the layout we decided to add another piece, as well, which I bought the next business day. We got a great deal, good quality, and excellent service for our money.
