No Nintendo DS. I kinda thought a THRIFT store would have at least some decent electronic items.

Well, I was very disappointed by the selection at this GOODWILL. I needed somewhere to stop as I just drove from Lacey nonstop on a personal trip and I'm always up for a GW trip as you never know what you're gonna find. Sadly, I didn't find anything in this store. There was hardly anyone in the store which is kind of a bad omen amongst thrift stores, but they did have two very friendly cashiers at the register. I started off in the men's apparel section which was very small and had almost no pants below size 34 waist. Those that were there were very picked over or stained. Then I moved on to shoes. I was looking for a pair of boots for the winter and of course did not find any. As I was loosing hope I thought for sure I could find a video or DVD to add to my collection. The movies were well displayed but again lacking in variety. I didn't look anywhere else but they seemed to have a decent selection for women, as they usually do, and the linens area was pretty good. There was practically no furniture. Actually I don't remember seeing any furniture at all other than a coffee table. This is certainly not one of my favorite GWs. read more

Goodwill Industries - Thrift Stores Near Me - East Wenatchee, Washington

This location in East Wenatchee is fairly small but it seems to have a little bit of everything. I'm not sure if it was bad timing or if this is normal. They really didn't have much toys. Over half the store is dedicated to clothes. As far as prices, for me seems to be higher than I would normally pay for reselling. However they do have a color code percentage off. I have been going to this Goodwill for several years and cannot praise the staff enough they are all very professional and nice . The store is clean and stocked with good useable items . I find donating to be easy also . read more

This Goodwill is actually lower-priced than the Wenatchee Goodwill. I probably shop here once a week. I agree that the selection is limited. However, we ALL KNOW they can only sell what they receive!!! Perhaps more people should donate in order to have a wider selection?!?! The new manager is actually VERY rude AND condescending. The assistant manager is the same way. She is ALSO VERY condescending!!! When you ask a question and the cashier needs to call her up, she acts like both you, the customer, AND the cashier, are wasting her time! :( Public relations are, apparently, not a high priority for this Goodwill. I liked the previous manager. He did quite a fine job. He would come with a smile to answer any questions the customer had. Great customer service! :) Not sure why he was demoted. It certainly wasn't for lack of kindness and respect to the customers. I DO LIKE that they will tell you the color of the tag for the 50% off if you call in! :) read more

We are not from the area but enjoy going to Goodwill and other thrift stores when we travel. This location was close to where we were staying so we were hopeful but once inside, our experience went sour. Stepping inside felt like we were walking into some post-apocalyptic scene where people were frantically rummaging through dumpsters. It was surprisingly busy but everything was disheveled. After doing a quick walk-through, I wondered what all the people could be so desperately interested in. It was virtually all garbage. Perhaps I was 2 minutes late and missed the big rush on the useable items. It's quite possible that this location is simply over-shopped and the management isn't effective to keep everything neat, organized, and clean. It has the feel of it that at the end of the day, it might be best to muck it out and hose it down like a horse stall in a barn...only not that wholesome ..it smelled like what you might imagine a carnie's armpit smells like (apologizes to carnies out in the world). Dirty, filthy, bad drugs. My daughter's comment as she leaned close was that it seemed like a "Covid den" and "..a good place to get contaminated." I laughed and tried to reassure her but considered we were more-likely to catch something more dangerous. I would avoid this place. Really, it's not worth it. I enjoy thrifting like anyone and have even been known to dumpster dive for an antique or two but this is worse than a filthy dumpster. Yuck. Nasty. NA-STAY. Gross. Someone could film a documentary about this place. It's really that bad. It's places like this where I wonder why YELP doesn't have a category to goes into the negative stars.. perhaps a Black Hole option? If so, I give this 2 Black Holes.. yes, it could be worse, but not by much. read more

Just went in this past week and found a good selection of glassware. They have organized the store really nicely now and the workers are friendly and helpful. They do have some furniture, which looked to be of better quality than I expected. read more
