Now granted, all Christmas items in the store were already discounted including this one, but consider the other dozens of Christmas items in the store on sale and none appeared damaged that I could tell, so the discount on my item was not in consideration of any damages. Store managers, your job is just as much about cultivating a relationship with your shoppers as it is about selling products. If you want repeat sales from the same consumers (sustainable commerce), mind your training and use some common sense.

Our sister in-law recommended Miniblinds & More. We stopped in the store and met Jodi. She was polite and non-pushy. She showed us around the showroom highlighting and explaining some of the different blinds and their applications. Again NO pressure yet professional which we liked. Jodi arranged for Daren to come to the house to make measurements and go over the different styles and applications. I really didn't know what to expect. We met Daren and it was obvious by his demeanor he knew what he was doing. Daren was professional yet personal and listened to our wants. He gave us the right advise even as I was trying to make unreasonable suggestions (I didn't know what I was talking about and was so burned out from our across state move, I didn't do or care about doing any blinds research or homework). Daren certainly did NOT take advantage of our lack of knowledge and gave us the best blinds for a great price. He was genuine, honest and explained things that made sense. BTW I was in no way going to try to cut corners and go cheap on such an important piece to complete our new home. But, Daren gave us all the discounts and deal that was well under what we thought we'd pay for a high quality blind. The installation was again professional yet easy. We are completely satisfied and super happy with our new blinds. The blinds are perfect for our home and compliment our home as they should.
