When reaching for the door handle I said to my husband, "Get ready, I bet this place smells like my grandma's house." No. It smells like tide pods and dryer sheets. All of the clothes smell freshly laundered. How do they do it? I'm not sure, but about half of the store is clothing and they are all nice and clean, so they must sort through their items pretty intensely before putting them out for sale. The prices were decent, and while I didn't find any special treasures to take home, I would definitely stop by again the next time I'm in Leavenworth.

The family is very friendly and don't hassle you as you shop. Im also in my 20's and I never felt like I'm being "watched" as I shop (thats my top pet peeve) This store does not contain that "goodwill/value village smell" which I do not miss. There selection is pretty similar to many other thrift shops except you can actually find those "hard to find" thrifty items since the store is not mainstream.
