It's all right, the bathrooms don't have toilet paper, was going to take my son to go potty and heard a lady in there ask for help because she went in there and there was no paper, went and asked the front cashier and he gave me a roll to give to her but told me to take it back to him. Kind of odd- ended up speeding home instead to let my little one use the bathroom. Felt uncomfortable with that - I get they probably have issues with the people that go in there and take the paper but your a business that's just not ok. Did find a couple cool things for Less than 15$ say 5 items not bad on their pricing. read more

One of my favorite places to thrift in Wenatchee ! The prices are usually fair and the few times the items have no tags the employees will price them for you. The owner is extremely rude and confrontational. He made my teenage daughter cry. Would highly recommend going somewhere else.

Hours say their open until 7pm but they closed at 6:30pm thought we would have about an hour to look around and find some things but were told we have 15 mins before they closed when I mentioned their hours said that they closed at 7pm they promptly said "Nope, 6:30" and walked away. Couldnt even get to the basement level they blocked it off early. Would of bought something if i had the time and access to peruse. Hands down the best thrift store I've ever been to. If you have enough time, I bet that you'll find what you're looking for at Veterans. And it will be an amazing price! Give yourself plenty of time to look around if it's your first time going in. This place is big- there are 2 floors. The first floor is clothes, shoes, electronics, books, magazines, home goods... the second floor (my personal favorite) is like walking into somebody's garage that has kept everything over their lifetime. You'll find tools, lawn equipment, camping stuff, sports equipment, and furniture (and much, much more as well). Have fun! read more

The owner of the veterans Warehouse got mad at me today because I questioned the price of a Care Bear that he has from 2020 he looked it up and said oh it sells on eBay for $10. first priced at $40 $39.99 because I told him it's brand new at hooked on Toys in Wenatchee for $14.99 we just bought one around Christmas and then I did say oh you get your stuff for free it's a new Care Bear it's not an old vintage Care Bear. And I left the store my daughter was behind me in line had two items he proceeded to throw them on the floor tell her she can't shop there no more which we won't and then decided to come out filming with his camera on his phone calling me a meth head I strongly suggest that people don't shop there or donate to them anymore and you know I'm a hippie so we'll leave it at that peace bro. read more

The owner apparently this place he accused me of being a meth addict I am 5'1 I've got acting on my face and I am I've actually asked people what they think my age is most people think I look 16 that day especially I looked 16 he accused of person that looked 16 of being a meth addict that makes me believe he is a methodic because my mom smokes weed and she'll accuse someone of smoking weed when they're acting high because that's the first thing her mind goes to the fact that his mind immediately went to meth addict makes me think he is a meth out of himself and the fact that he went from 0 to 100 over a new generation Care Bear that isn't even that he doesn't even look that good that he said on eBay is getting sent sold for $10 when he was trying to sell it for $40 or 20 makes me think he does not research what he has read more

This is a pretty cool thrift store. You can sometimes find what your looking for, and you can always go on a treasure hunt. The prices in electronics have made a ridiculous jump. I'm seeing some fairly high prices for scratched up goods sometimes with mis matched knobs, etc.. Not sure what's going on there.. I sure see all the over priced stuff week after week. I would like to see them move that stuff out and get some profit going. I mean they got what looks like a dedicated guy. I hope he is a volunteer. . The rest of the store is real good. I still give the store 5 stars because the other 93 percent of the store kicks ass. read more

I was excited to see another Veterans Warehouse here! There used to be one in downtown Wenatchee that was 3 stories FILLED with stuff but that place closed. Today while passing through town, I almost missed this! I was SUPER excited to go inside and discover how massive the place was. The people were very nice and the store was so packed, I could literally spend a week inside going through everything and still not see it all... and there is a basement filled too! I got a cart and started going through things.. I only saw prices on the larger items, which was confusing. No tags meant no color special so I was a bit disappointed in that.. that meant many of the items in the store had probably been there for months at least. After looking at the photos of the review from March 2021, I noticed that many of the board games in that picture were still on the shelf today.. BUMMER. There were at least 10 Scene It board games and some of the games were open, there were bits and pieces here and there but there were treasures to find throughout the store. The problem with this store is the people working there have no idea how new or old the inventory is, so.. that means at least 75% of the stuff on the shelves isn't selling and probably will not sell but when a space becomes available, the place something from the back room in it's place. Probably why there are umpteen Scene It games out there. They need a pricing system. When I went to cash out, there was a lady who was negotiating for a pyrex bowl but didn't like the price the man behind the counter was quoting so she asked him if he would hold it for a day and he agreed to. Nice fellow! Bad policy! People don't have any idea what they are paying for what they want so they pick it up off the shelf, carry it to the counter and then when they hear the price, don't want it.. now the guy has to wait at least a day, then replace it on the shelf. I noticed a cart with a bunch of items in it behind the counter... most-likely items that went through the same process. Sure, price tags get removed and people hide color-coded stickers.. shoplifting is everywhere and scammers are in abundance but they have a bill-scanner to slip the $20's through to make sure they are legit. This isn't the first Veterans Warehouse I've been too so I think the problems here are within the chain and IT NEEDS FIXING. They need to figure something out. There was a really cool pile of collectable stuff behind a back counter but it said, "NOTHING HERE FOR SALE RIGHT NOW OFF LIMITS" or something like that.. looked like museum stuff and antiques.. weird. This places looks heavily shopped by resellers but there are tons of items and it will be my favorite place in this town and worth a 2 hour drive if they can work out these issues. Flush out the crap and make room to restock the shelves with new inventory.. price the items or at least put up signs in the areas of the items so people know what they should expect to pay for. We found a Halloween mask my daughter wanted and she figured it'd be around $5, I told her it should be priced around $1.99 as it wasn't new, it wasn't really worth $5 and I might expect to pay $.50 or less for it at a garage sale. The nice man behind the counter looked at it, rolled it over in his hands and said, "I think this should be... hm... 5 bucks." I asked, "Would you do $4?" and he agreed. I dig the willingness to negotiate but some people HATE that and I'd honestly prefer to know what I'm paying when I pick it up. So many items but price them with dated or colored tags and move on. It was like the low-end of Pawn Stars only friendlier and better staff. Because of all the clutter and old merchandise, there's no way they can effectively clean this store either so it's only a matter of time before it compromises health codes. Totally groovy store with serious issues and a friendly staff that holds it all together. I would like to thank the staff from the bottom of my heart, as a veteran, for helping other veterans and being such a terrific part of this community and I would like to apologize for not being able to "honestly" give this store a better review. I'm coming back here and I hope so much I will see constructive changes. This could seriously be my favorite thrift store ever if they fix it. read more

This thrift store is technically nonprofit although very little of the proceeds are donated. They have a lot of junk..be careful though they over price anything that is worth anything. Very sad! It is hard for people who go to the thrift store to get things they need when they cannot afford to buy anything but dusty junk. I will donate to Goodwill instead of Veterans Warehouse because they at least offer employees good benefits and employment programs for the disabled. read more

One of the worst experiences I've had with ANY business. Called six times to schedule a pick-up of household furnishings (king mattress, 2 hide-a-beds, 1 love seat, 3 dressers, 2 TV stands, 4 nightstands, 2 dining room tables, 4 barstools, 8 dining room chairs, etc.). Finally made an 11:00 AM appointment. I called at 10:37 to confirm. The truck hadn't even left (it's 50 miles and 1 hour plus drive time). My vacation renters had moved their cars out of the driveway at 10:30. Veterans Warehouse driver didn't arrive until 12:15. (He and his helper did a very good job of quickly moving items to lawn so I could closed the garage door and leave. They were pleasant to work with.) Moved everything out of garage onto lawn. Driver and helper then discovered that the box truck was 1/3 full of cardboard boxes. Therefore, not enough room for all of my stuff for one trip. I called manager. He couldn't guarantee that a second trip could be make today. Couldn't explain why 11:00 arrival wasn't possible. Couldn't explain why truck wasn't empty and prepped for today's pick-up. Organization very unprofessional almost to the point of being incompetent. Will work with Goodwill from now on. read more
