This review is long overdue, and receives 0 stars. I DO NOT recommend this establishment for any services. Long story short, every Caucasian employee that works there is very prejudice, especially Avery and the owner Ally. I have been mistreated by Avery too many times, and after several complaints to the owner, the owner still chose to keep her employed. How can she keep an employee who is blatantly rude, prejudice, and doesn't clean tanning beds in between customers employed? Well it's because Ally, the owner, is prejudice too and apparently supports low vibrational energy. I tried working it out with Ally first, and have emails to prove it, but once she saw me in person at her salon, and she knew it was me, she started mistreating me too. What it comes down to is jealousy, envy, hate, and misery, which is why our world is so toxic. So here I am, writing this well deserved review, because people need to be exposed for their true colors and held accountable, because nobody's actions go unnoticed, especially by the Universe. You can't escape your karma. This review is to inform the community, and know that supporting her establishment is supporting hatred. I know we all have our own experiences, and it's up to us what we choose, so if you choose to support this business, I hope they treat you well regardless of what color you are, or your style. As a business owner myself, a situation like this, if brought to my attention, would be a wake up call to change my ways for the better, and take accountability, especially if you want to be a respectable business owner, and keep customers. What comes around goes around. Always stay high vibrational if you want to elevate. Peace, love, and light. read more

I have been tanning her since 2012 and I have always had a a great experience. Most of the reviews here on Yelp and Facebook reflect what a wonderful, locally owned business this is. It is very clean and the staff is helpful and knowledgeable. Prices are great! With one exception- there was an employee here for a short while that was quite rude, but she is no longer there, and it's no wonder why. It's nice to know that the owner has the clients best interests in mind. This employee is suspected of posting nasty reviews here on Yelp, but anyone can see that the overwhelming majority of people who use Pacific Tan love it! read more

Don't waste your dime here. Floors never cleaned, employees have been late multiple times to open up, bulbs haven't been changed in over a year I know firsthand, I have seen several cockroaches. This is a warning to brides considering getting a tan here for their wedding day…read more I really wanted to have a positive experience here because the women working in the studio were genuinely very sweet and welcoming. Unfortunately, the overall experience -- and especially how the situation was handled by the owner -- was very disappointing. After my spray tan appointment (2/26), my hands and elbows developed significant orange discoloration and looked extremely splotchy. Before the appointment I specifically expressed concerns about transfer, since I had an upcoming bridal event, and I was reassured that with the clear solution there would be no transfer after the first rinse. However, two days later -- after completing four rinses and carefully following all aftercare instructions -- the tan transferred badly onto a brand new white dress that cost nearly $300, leaving visible stains that now require professional dry cleaning. This was incredibly upsetting and stressful, especially since I purchased a package of four sessions specifically to prepare for my wedding. Because of the poor results and the damage to my dress, I no longer felt comfortable continuing with the remaining appointments. The owner only refunded the unused portion of the package and never felt the need to reach out directly to me to apologize for the experience. Given the circumstances and the damage caused, I felt a full refund would have been the appropriate and fair resolution, but that was not offered. I want other brides to be aware that there is a real risk your tan could transfer and stain your beautiful expensive wedding dress -- even days later and after multiple rinses. For something as important as your wedding, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere for spray tanning services.
