My tan always comes out super even, it's very clean inside, the staff are super helpful and nice. I always have a good experience.

Due to a skin condition I have I actually need UV rays - I have been going here for years now and every one is nice /helpful and the place is clean . Until recently I developed rheumatoid arthritis, and the owner was so knowledgeable we started talking about red light therapy, started doing it , and it helped with inflammation, though consistent is also key . I have been coming here for years.! my wife has also been coming here for years, before vacation or just to catch a nice tan and feel good etc! We have ALWAYS loved the staff here including the owner Gina who is a sweetheart!!! I was checking operating hours today and saw some of these reviews online.. The public sucks.! Who ever is complaining about paying $20 a tan or $22 a tan is ridiculous.! It's not anyone's fault but your own you work at Starbucks and make nothing. Life choices.! if you can't afford $20 for a tan what do you expect? It's the year 2025 life is expensive. This is the Bay Area. What do you want them to charge six dollars get a life.!! Just go lay outside and be cheap.! These ladies in here work hard to keep the facilities clean and electricity is not cheap. Have you seen recent PG&E bills.!! God forbid they make a living over here. One last thing I will say I have been coming here for at least seven years or more and have never once had a bad experience and if the front desk associate seems unfriendly, it's probably because they're busy cleaning the bed you're about to go in..!!! I have been coming here for over a year now. My tan always is on point and I feel safe in their tanning beds. This place isn't like other tanning companies, there's a computer system that rotates you to different beds, even though it mite not be for everyone it works for me. The beds and rooms are always clean and well taken care of. Out of all the tanning salons that I have been too this one is my favorite and will continue to be a loyal customer here. They are included with the monthly membership and, if you understand how good red light is for your skin and what other places charge for this therapy, you will understand how great of a deal it is to be able to do red light daily for only $90/month. Immediately I felt at ease as the staff members introduced me to the process and recommended a good schedule to prepare for my trip. I absolutely love this place and let me tell you why: 1st the owner is extremely knowledgeable, you can ask questions about anything without the fear of being upsold or pressured into buying more, facts are facts. 2nd membership is the way to go, may seem like a monthly expense you don't need but if you have had skin problems your whole life like myself (i.e. acne, Eczema, sensitive to lots of products) tanning on the regular can help extremely. 3rd this salon is not exactly convenient for me to go to living in Benicia, however because of the experience and services, I make the time to find my way out here at least once a week. I could go on and on but there just aren't enough words or time. I have been a standing member through covid and pregnancy. Couldn't ask for a better place. read more

First experience: I signed up for a monthly membership for spray tanning. A month later they called and said they'd no longer have that membership and cancelled it. Weird but okay. Second experience: No welcome upon arrival, simply asked for my last name. Agreed on a spray tan, asked what packages they have. A single mystic tan is $52 which is a lot higher than 2 other salons relative in distance (Utopia & Glo). She started putting additional products inside a spray tan cartridge without asking me and said she was doing what it looked like I needed based on my skin tone and that I needed it "warmed". Odd but went with it. No towels, I asked if they no longer provide towels in the spray. Her answer was there usually is 6 towels but someone before me used them all. Overall: I could get past the $52 for a single spray tan (not airbrush, a booth) if the customer service was not awful. At a minimum greet customers, ask them what they want before charging them, make sure the room is ready for what the customer needs for that service. Basics. Times are tough, prices are being raised everywhere - that I get. But it doesn't cost anything to smile. Keeping in mind this wasn't a teenager or college student at the front desk, it looked to be the owner. read more

Located in a big shopping center with tons of parking. Came in for a spray tan and the woman behind the counter was very friendly and helpful. They provide you with sticky feet to keep the bottom of your feet from turning brown. The spray tan machine is in a private room and the voice command walks you through step by step on how to position. Towels to wipe off barrier cream are not provided so bring your own. I came in this morning, wanting to find a new tanning salon because my old one had closed. The front desk girl seemed to be lying about customizing a solution because she showed me the mystic bottles and they're the exact same bottles that my other tanning salon used to have. She told me that they customize them, and she wouldn't tell me how they customize them. I knew she was saying that because I used to work at a tanning salon and the same bottles are pre-packaged and already shipped in light, medium and dark. The girl was rude and kept saying that she customizes them , when I knew it was not true. I ended up not buying a package , felt very uncomfortable, and really at the end of the day felt that she did not even care if she had my business. Also, she told me that I could buy three mystic tans for $120. Which is a total rip off because I used to get 12 mystic tans at the salon that I went to for 199+3 free renewals if I renewed before my package expired. No thank you and goodbye. I am not a customer that comes in and knows nothing about Tanning. I've been around the block and sorry you're not gonna rip me off. read more

Love this place! Have had a monthly unlimited tanning membership for probably around two years now. I've had monthly packages from other places before and this place has been the most affordable. The bang for your buck is amazing as well. Everything is always very clean and the bed qualities are great! I have been to places many times where there were burnt out or dying bulbs and never have I ever experienced that here. Above and beyond the equipment, the staff are amazing. Gina has remembered and called me by my name nearly since I started coming here. She has always been super knowledgeable in regards to helping me achieve my tan goals and selecting products for my skin type and tattoos. 10/10 would recommend! read more

I am updating my review after moving out of the area and experiencing this company's shady cancelation practices. I had a monthly membership here for three years and was generally happy with it. During the last few months of it I didn't make it in for a tan very often because I was busy with remodeling and selling my house. Eventually I came in to cancel my membership as I was leaving the area. The person working at the front desk informed me she can't cancel it, and that I have to MAIL a letter to the business advising them that I want to cancel. The mailing address was the same address I was physically standing in at the time so I asked if I could write this information down and hand it to her; she said no. And she also said that I would be charged one more time after the notice is received. Clearly this policy is an attempt to be able to charge you for multiple months that you don't need or want. Using the mail wastes an extra week or so, allowing another payment to post and then still one more after that. Businesses should retain customers by providing a good service, not by force. So shady. I do not recommend a monthly membership here. read more
