I thought I was going to need a brand new transmission that would cost half the value of my car, which gave me overwhelming anxiety. However, when I decided to pick up the phone, I greeted by their wonderful front desk staff, who offered me an appointment the next day. When I arrived for my appointment, I was greeted warmly and given reassurance that my vehicle was in good hands. They were even able to diagnose my car noises on the same day I brought it in! When I was called with the results of their diagnostic testing, I was given a sigh of relief as the noises were coming from the wheel bearing as opposed to an internal noise from the transmission. They also recommended doing a transmission tune-up which I gladly accepted as it had been more than 70,000 miles since my last one. Even though all they did was a transmission fluid exchange, my car runs just like new, without any slipping of the transmission! If this was a random transmission shop, they would have easily tried to sell me a brand new unnecessary transmission for thousands of dollars I didn't have while keeping the actual source of the noise hidden from me. Anxious and bummed I took it in to get it fixed. I was preparing myself for the worst a new or rebuild transmission which 3 other shops quoted me over 6g. if I needed one. They could've said anything, any price they want. The car doesn't move right?? Even getting a rebuilt transmission would be a lot less than a new or used truck. But, they came back to me with such an honest quote that not only they fixed the issue they also fixed 4 other issues and replaced the battery which I knew about btw And also cut a couple of hrs of labor because it didn't take as long as it was quoted. I mean NEVER in my 40 years of owing cars have I experienced that. Needless to say I will be going back for all issues. these guys rock! We took the car to Jerry's Transmission and could not be happier with such an amazing team there.
