***Auto Buying Experience*** This has been nothing short of an amazing car buying experience. I dealt with the most lovely family (family run) that owns the gas station/service center where they also have a few cars to choose from. I found my Subaru Crosstrek on Cargurus.com and then was able to purchase directly from branford auto center. From beginning to end there was no pressure to buy and they answered all of my questions. I clipped their coupon out of one of those mail booklet had some specials running, I was interested in the oil change, somewhat cheap and the coupon clearly stated no appointment necessary, so from New Haven I drove to Branford just so I could find out how bad some people run their business. I drove there and spoke to the owner's son and told him I was interested in their oil change special but he told me I needed an appointment, so I clearly showed him that the coupon said no appointment needed but with an attitude he said he was too busy so I told him I would wait, again he took up an attitude until finally the father came out and flat out refused to do the job. I wasted several hour because the would not honor their own coupon. Do you want to waste your time? Never again. They have lost my business and respect. Do yourself a favor and take your business to someone that appreciate it. read more

I could not believe how quick and efficient my emissions test was at Branford Auto Center Parking was easy and reserved for Emissions customers. Jarrod was the incredibly polite and informative young man who assisted me. He explained that his position was dedicated solely to Emissions testing , this is how they can get you in and out so quickly, paper work and all! No appointments needed! It was refreshing to see such a young person take pride in his job and go the extra mile to inform his customers. He even backed my car up for me ! This is the kind of person we all want to hire! Prior to my visit, I had a bad emissions experience in a neighboring town, , it certainly looked upscale and had many employees, however they lost my reservation, and told me at 10 AM that I would need to come back at 2 pm for service! They never even thought to apologize, further more they took my car key and it took 20 min. to retrieve it? Branford Auto Center is my new go to. They hire excellent people and actually care. I am new to the area and my air conditioner went in the middle of the heat wave. Tried a few places but had to wait a week to get it in. Manny took me right away, and although his first attempt didn't work, he took it right back the next day and diagnosed it. Even though it was a Saturday and he was busy, he fixed it! He knew I needed the car. These guys are knowledgeable and spend the time explaining your problem in detail. They test drove the car and ran it on the lift to make sure they took care of the problem. I came here for front brakes this morning. I could occasionally hear hear a slight squeal from the front end and the car had a little wobble upon braking. I was fortunate that the garage was not too busy. I caught it at the right time. The brakes were done quickly and affordably. Much better price than the national chains with their coupons. One of the few times in my life I didn't feel ripped off for car repair. I will come back for other service when needed. I live in town so it is convenient. Nice job guys. read more
