My experience with RJ Shore was completely opposite and I can't believe I'm giving a tow company a highly positive review. The only negative was they were a little late due to a miscommunication. No big deal. I had the time. Stephen my tow truck driver was just great. Super positive experience. He was polite, courteous, careful and friendly. Based on my experience with Stephen as a driver I wouldn't hesitate to recommend RJ Shore's towing services especially with Stephen doing the towing. He is a wonderful asset to their operation! We have been going to this shop for 18+ years. My car was making some noises and I didn't feel safe in it. I dropped it off on a Friday and they told me it was in need of brakes badly. The owner was able to squeeze me in and get my brakes done that way I was in a safe vehicle. I couldn't appreciate this more. They always help us out in a pinch and always give us the right value for what we are paying for. If you need mechanic work and you're in the Guilford area, Guilford Texaco is the way to go!

The girls were very nice and they always are but for the two things that they did to the car they charge me $179 just to look at it but I had to work down there and this is what really bothers me they charged me $700 for parts. My son-in-law and my son both work on cars. My son told me that they definitely overcharged us. He called on the place and we were overcharge at least $400 plus we had to work down there. The total bill was $1398 but they told me 1380+ $20 for emissions but we already paid for admissions twice in the last three weeks so I don't know what was going on. but the thing that really bothers me is, I thought they were gonna take care of me $1400 for what they did. It just bothered me big time especially when I had to use $1000 that I had to pay my mortgage and now I'm a month behind whatever . But the $179 to look at it when first of all, they never told me they're gonna charge me to look at it and then we had to work done there. I don't know I'm disappointed I think they're nice people, but I just feel like I got way overcharged especially when we just don't have the money like I said the girls there are very nice and then you say 1380 and it's 1400+ $20 every little bit counts to us I work 12 hours a day seven days a week because my wife and son are sick but anyway it really hurt me to fill this out because I like them

This was delivered in an ominous tone & they were unwilling to prioritize all of the work needing to be done. "You might as well do it while you're here...we're pretty booked because of (choose any reason)" Lots of doom & gloom. Car has less than 50k miles... -Greeter/cashier was extremely friendly and explained things well. Promised the job would take about an hour, but I paid & was out the door in 45 minutes. Similar service last month at the dealer's took 1.5+ hours... I was looking to establish a relationship with a garage that was close by, trustworthy, pleasant to deal with and who did good work. I was driving at night, got off exit at 2am and had to sleep in my van in 0 degree temperatures. Chris invited me to come to his shop and let me jump to the front of the line on his very busy day. I was in by 8:10 am. He got my van diagnosed, parts delivered and I was back on the road after lunchtime. I am so grateful to him to help me get back on the road. I am a dog/house sitter and I was expected in Annapolis that night. The homeowner had already left the country for a trip. Chris and his team were not only professional but generous in their efforts to help me. I was told where I could get lunch and I was able to sit in his waiting area for hours, have bathroom access and even had a fireplace turned on because I was cold.
