I asked one of the agents at Adler Travel to help me book a trip to Madrid and Paris so that my…read moredaughter, an art student, could see the great museums. The agent did competently book flights and hotels, and I'm choosing to see that as a "glass half-full". But she needed a couple of reminders and she took a couple weeks longer than she said she would. And really, in a world where we all have TripAdvisor, I'm not sure that saved me more than 4 or 5 hours versus doing it on my own. Where I really could have used help, there was none. I was very clear about the purpose of the trip and the museums we intended to visit. Those museums are currently deluged with tourists and all now require booking time slots weeks in advance. If we had shown up without pre-booked tickets, we would have been turned away, negating the entire purpose of the trip and wasting thousands of dollars. This kind of information - learned from personal trips to the destination or previous bookings - is the real added value a travel agent should provide. Our agent provided none. Luckily for us, I learned about the need for pre-booking from Rick Steves' books before it was too late to get in. It was too late to get the time-slots we wanted, however. Some of the slots were decidedly inconvenient. A few weeks' earlier start would have been extremely helpful - a heads-up from the agent would have made a huge difference. Our agent was simply MIA after the initial bookings. She did finally respond to an email requesting help booking flights from Madrid to Paris - after I'd already booked them myself - with apologies about missing my email in her very full inbox. I had to do all of the research and booking for the museums myself, something that took many hours. Every agency has multiple agents with different levels of experience and enthusiasm for the job. Adler has a good enough local reputation that I'm sure some of the other agents are more helpful. But my experience with my agent was not great. I credit Rick Steves for a successful trip, not my agent. If I hadn't checked those books, it would have been a complete fiasco.

Luckily, John made everything beyond easy! We went in for a meeting with a few key ideas: all inclusive, on the beach, adults only. After a few more questions John quickly came up with several options. He made the process even easier by reserving everything for us, and telling us what to expect at each step of our travels. We had the BEST TIME in Mexico at El Dorado Maroma! Completely stress free vacation, exactly like we wanted :) We can not wait to go back and plan our next vacation through Adler Travel!

Of course, I missed my flight to LAX. I waited for some direction from you whilst at the airport…read more I had no place to go. One hour and ten minutes is insufficient to leave Prague, board the plane to Frankfort, go through immigration control in the line, wait for the shuttle bus to the main airport, and get to the gate (Z) which was the last one in the terminal. Have you done that successfully? If so, how did you manage? I had to take a airport cart to the Lufthansa gate. $$ Lufthansa said there was no way I could have an international flight in that brief amount of time. I then had to take another airport cart to find a taxi. $$$ What was I to do? So, Lufthansa gave me a hotel voucher for the night with meals. However, I had to pay for the taxi to the hotel and back to the airport tomorrow. I do not know the language or the train system. I now have missed my connecting flight back to Las Vegas. I guess I'll have to pay for that new flight. I don't think I have ever had such an unpleasant experience working with a travel agency. Perhaps it would be wise to factor in how much time is needed between flights on international travel. Three hours is the suggested time allowance. Was I the first international customer? I do not mean to sound impatient, but this has been costly and exhausting. I am now rebooked on a Lufthansa flight tomorrow morning. I hope to be compensated $$$ by the travel agency. Please respond. Thank you. Update: The travel agency refunded me a $35 service fee.

I booked my cruise with them which was my first time bookinga cruise, finally day of my cruise came but we aren't able to go, so I called up my agent and informed her what was going on. I was then informed that I had no insurance. To only be lied to about it (long stor). My trip costs alot of money with everyone claims I paid to much for it in the first place when it didn't include the airfare. Long story short: I would not recommend this company to anyone that is a first time buyer and if you go with this company make sure you tell them you want insurance because they aren't going to recommend it to you. The sales rep was able to get me the taxes back but that's all.

My…read morename is Laura Fondeur I have spent the entire month requesting for AAA to terminate all of my P&C AAA and CSAA appointments in the states DE, WV, SD, CT, and PA. I was told to email agentservices@csaa.com and I have been. Several times a day every day. I needed these appointments terminated so that I could start a new job. The job was suppose to start on the 20th and had to be pushed back to the 3rd because of AAA. I was a broker and every other company that I've sold for (20+ companies) terminated my appointments except for AAA. I received an email saying this was done in back in 2022 but it's not true. I'm still showing appointed in the NIPR. I even provided screenshots as proof. This is hindering my opportunity to move forward with a new job prospect. CSAA is the only company that has not completed this request of a list of about 20 different companies in different states that I was appointed in when I was a broker. AAA is now causing problems for me. I haven't worked for AAA since 2022 there's no reason why I should still be appointed in these states with AAA. This lack of action is keeping a single mom from employment. I've made over 15+ attempts at getting this done and all I get is lies, run around, or ignored. Next step is uploading these emails requests and replies to the media either social or local news where it clearly shows how many attempts it takes for AAA insurance to complete a task. If that's how you treat your former agents I don't want to know how you treat your customers.

We were looking around for places to go and didn't want it to be to costly. Never thought Aruba would be affordable for us, but she made it happen. And boy was this a fantastic trip. The hotel she found us was located on palm beach which was amazing in itself, however, within steps from the hotel door were shops and restaurants and anything we needed. We chose not to do all inclusive which was perfect. Every day for seven days we had a different restaurant for breakfast luncheon dinner. All within minutes of our hotel walking distance. We walked everywhere. Such amazing food. Oh yes, and she reminded me when it was time for us to fill out the ED card because if not, I would've forgotten. We even booked our excursions through her and they were fabulous. I cannot rave enough about Susan and our experience. I'm so glad that I found her.

There was a fair amount of confusion with folks boarding that might have been alleviated with a bit of automation and a portal to upload documents rather than an excess of redundant paperwork. The staff was fantastic and the menu selection was varied enough to meet many dining preferences. The ship is dated, but our the spaces were very clean. The excursions were good, although the guides were less professional than on a bigger cruise. The ship needs better WIFI!! Even our final payment to the purser was delayed as they couldn't connect (even though we were in port). Our initial trip itinerary listed a departure time of 830 and we booked our flight home accordingly. Upon boarding, we were notified we needed to off the ship at 6am to catch the bus to the airport. Not only did we have to get up before the crack of dawn, but we subsequently endured a very long wait for our flight. Put a real downer on a nice trip. That and the lack of WI-FI made it impossible to make other arrangements ahead of getting to the airport.

My wife passed away in February 2026 and I called to discuss the options for handling this situation the following month. I understand that there is a single traveler supplement, as prices quoted are for double occupancy. Based on the quoted price for keeping our booked room for myself, as well as the price for an alternate room that was less desirable (and still significantly more expensive than the per-person cost of the room we had originally booked), I decided to cancel our booking. We were aware that Pearl Seas Cruises charges a $250 per person "Cancellation Administrative Charge" when we booked our trip. Given that I was cancelling the cruise due to the death of my wife, I strongly feel that a waiver of that fee should have been provided in this circumstance. The effort involved for the Company in cancelling our reservation is minimal, and the trip was not cancelled on a whim. The Pearl Seas Cruises representatives I spoke with demonstrated no empathy for what I was going through, merely reiterating that it is "Company policy". I know all Company have policies, but I also know that exceptions can be granted to policies in appropriate situations. My situation should have qualified for such a waiver, and lack of consideration by the Pearl Seas Cruises representatives was appalling. I contrast that with my dealings with the representatives of other travel providers with which I dealt, who were much more understanding and went out of their way to accommodate the situation in a fair and equitable manner. Needless to say, I will never be booking a trip with their Company again, and recommend that other travelers take their business elsewhere.
