Since their quote was almost half the price (!) we decided to give them a try. You wonder if paying less means inferior service or other problems. That wasn't the case at all. Communication was great. Eric and Miguel showed up right on time (one of those dreadful 110° Phoenix heat advisory days) and worked quickly and carefully. Just-In Time Moving truly helped me out of an emergency situation…read more I had originally hired another moving company, Not Your Husband Moving, and ended up in a terrible situation where I was billed for more than double the estimated hours for the move into storage and the move was not completed as originally estimated. I needed to get my household goods out of their storage quickly to stop the situation from getting worse. Just-In Time Moving was gracious enough to fit me into their schedule last minute. Their office was communicative, their estimate was thorough and clear, and the final bill matched what they estimated. The crew showed up on time, communicated throughout the day, and was professional, careful, and kind. This was not a simple move. They had to unload my furniture and belongings from storage crates, unwrap items that had been wrapped by the prior mover, take care with everything, rewrap my furniture, load it, transport it, and unload it into my new storage unit. They completed the entire job in 7.5 hours. By comparison, the prior mover had tried to bill me 16.5 hours for the move into storage alone. Just-In Time Moving did a fantastic job, and I am extremely grateful they were willing to help me on short notice. After the experience I had before them, their professionalism, clear communication, and honest billing meant everything. My advice to anyone hiring movers: read all reviews carefully, do not take online ratings at face value, check whether the company is listed with moversaz.org, review BBB ratings, and read how the company responds to 1-star and 2-star reviews. I wish I had done more research before hiring the first company. I am very thankful I found Just-In Time Moving when I did.

The deets: Took me a minute to write this as I've been unpacking.. but couldn't keep my experience a secret because I want to see this business thrive!! I was probably one of the worst clients.. I called late to schedule, I asked to move our "move time" like 4 or more times.. my house was not as organized as I had hoped.. I almost forgot to tell them about a room until they were already almost half way done... ‍‍ never a frustrated peep coming out of them..instead they were nice, accommodating and super understanding. I'll spare the details for the changes.. moves are stressful enough, but they made it so easy!! The guys showed up right on time and even gave me a 15 minute courtesy call to let me know they were on their way! They move quick and when some embarrassing things happened (to me) they were kind and told me no need to apologize.. they were here to help me. Super reassuring considering the situation I was in! The weather wasn't the best and they protected my things.. wrapped dressers so the drawers didn't go flying.. put a moving blanket on the ground so things didn't get wet.. like I said, these movers were AWESOME! The day of the move Antonio and his assistant moved so quickly! They were very careful with all of my furniture (which was over sized). I also have a large, delicate china hut hutch that they moved with precision and care. They moved 6 huge, bulky and fragile pieces of furniture from Maricopa to Phoenix in less than 3 hours. They came back 2 days later with their truck and loaded up the balance of my property, moved both trucks to my new location and unloaded both. These guys worked like dogs, but very efficient and friendly dogs! They were extremely careful with my stuff, and the only thing that got broken was a piece that I transported myself. I previously used this moving company and had a great experience, which is why I hired them again…read morein March 2026. Unfortunately, this second experience was terrible from start to finish. The movers arrived over an hour late and called ahead to say they had overslept. Once they arrived, they moved extremely slowly and disappeared for long stretches of time throughout the move. During the move, my dining table was broken. Instead of the owner handling the situation professionally himself, he placed the responsibility on the employee who damaged it. The worker took the broken table leg along with an additional leg and never returned either one. I had to repeatedly follow up trying to get this resolved. At one point, they attempted to order me a completely different table that was not even the correct size -- without my approval or even showing it to me first. After more follow-ups, I was told that once the incorrect table was returned, I would be reimbursed so I could replace my original table myself. I even sent photos of the exact table I purchased and was assured they would "do the right thing." Two months later, I still have not been reimbursed. To make matters worse, I was charged $140 per hour for 3 movers even though I was directly quoted $120 per hour in text messages. After I questioned it, I was refunded $50, which hardly resolved the issue. I had originally removed my first review after being promised they would pay for the damaged table, but that promise was never honored. The last message I received from the owner was simply asking, "How much?" instead of reviewing the many previous messages and handling the situation professionally. This entire experience was frustrating, unprofessional, and exhausting. I would never use this company again.
