Pieces were overlapping, with huge gaps everywhere. I ended up spending hours outside with scissors trimming overlapping edges and filling in the bare spots myself. Now I have to water more often than I should need to and even then it struggles. The lawn is so uneven that some areas pool with water while others dry out. When I voiced concerns about the lumpy install, James brushed it off and said, "No one else has ever been concerned about the lawn being level." As if expecting level ground after spending thousands makes me high-maintenance. The sprinkler system was just as poorly done -- only a few pop-ups, most of which spray the house or the fence. None are flush with the ground, and coverage is totally inadequate. Bottom line: You could save a lot of money by hiring the neighbors kids and get the same quality and craftsmanship, maybe even better.

What he installed flooded the yard and he refuses to take any accountability. The yard is wet and muddy and hasn't dried in a week. The only water source before his installation is the water faucet attached to house. I've only used a water hose the entire time I've lived here. His entire installation is subpar and did nothing but ruin my peaceful place in the garden. Save your money and don't hire Macs Lawn Service. I guarantee you these pics are NOT his work.

The floor was not properly leveled before installation, which caused a noticeable hollow and unstable feel every time someone walked across it. This is something any professional installer should address before laying down flooring. They also failed to put a plastic moisture barrier underneath the flooring, which is a basic and essential step to protect the material over time. Because of these mistakes, the flooring has already started to shift and look as though it will come apart when walked on. It's clear the installation was rushed and not done to industry standards. Now I'm in a position where I have to spend even more money to hire another company to rip everything out and redo the job correctly. This has been an expensive and stressful situation that could have been avoided with proper workmanship and attention to detail. I would strongly encourage anyone considering AMC Handyman Services LLC to proceed with caution and make sure you verify their installation process thoroughly.

We agreed on a day, and later he texted and offered to do the job a few days earlier, but we kept the original day. He and crew showed up on time, went to work, and did an excellent job. Shrubs gone, boulders gone, and debris cleaned up. How they managed to remove the plants without damaging the drip irrigation lines is worth noting. Gabriel offered suggestions for weed control and what to expect in terms of seasonal changes for the lawn and citrus trees. Bottom line: I highly recommend for excellent price, communication, service, and advice.

Appreciated the initial communication from Gabriel, but as time has gone we have had a hard time getting a hold of him for the second part of our project. Unfortunately, the yard has been incredibly patchy growing in, and we were trying to solve that initially. We hoped for soil to cover the seed but he just said "no, too many weeds". No additional solutions were offered to help keep birds away from eating the open seed. We'd rather have some weeds than a patchy yard. Initially, we were pleased but we are growing a bit disappointed.
