The crew that came out was very punctual, friendly and did a great job. There were a few things I noticed that were missed and when I contacted them, they immediately corrected the issue. Showed up to meet with us to go over our backyard landscaping. My husband had drawn up a rough sketch of what we were interested in putting in the back yard and gave it to him. We wanted to add pavers, grass, curbing, a couple flower beds, rock and add shrubs, plants and trees. He measured the yard and we went over everything and he gave a few suggestions. We thought the meeting went well, but after almost 2 weeks we never heard a word. My husband sent an email and was informed that they would let him know that we were following up and we never heard back from anyone. Highly recommended by a lot of people, but customer service isn't important. Very disappointed. read more

HOA required us to have some work done. Contacted a few if the local landscapers for a quote. While everyone else was faster at getting back to us these guys came in well under $100 then everyone else. It took a bit for them to get back to booking us and rescheduled to a different day hours after they had said they'd come (it was a good reason but you know, would have been nice more in advance). They finally showed up and the work was amazing. If you're not in a rush and want very good work at what we found to be the best price I recommend using them. read more

I had received a referral from my handyman to call Ryan at AZRY's Landscaping as I was stating I had some landscape issues. So, I called Ryan and he came to give me an estimate. Super nice man and -- please do not take offense to this, but as I do not speak Spanish, it was nice to be able to talk to and understand Ryan, as I had such a difficult time with a previous landscaper due to language barriers. Ryan's crew did do the initial weed spray that I had asked about but missed a few things, but nothing major. It was a great weed barrier, however later finding out Ryan's rates were much higher than some others out there. But so far, no weeds, so I can't complain and it has been well over 6 months (and we have had tons of rain). However, I could never get a hold of Ryan to get my maintenance on schedule. I had also requested a quote on crushed rock for my back yard but I never received the quote or the email with the pictures he said he would send me as he was trying to get me to get a certain rock for my yard over what I was wanting. After waiting months for responses and my maintenance service .... I just called another landscaper since there are about 16,541 of them in Maricopa. Sad because I really liked dealing with Ryan. But if they can't return a call, provide the estimate you requested or show up ..... read more

We needed our backyard to be worked after having a sprinkler leak underground and having all hell break loose with weeds... seriously, it was a jungle back there. After being blown off by a couple other landscaping companies locally we finally found AZ-RY's. Their prices are very fair, they have this great weed killer that keeps the weeds away for 6+ months, and their crew is fast and wonderful. The only complaint I have is getting in touch with them if you need to. Most of the time you have to leave a message and you don't get a call back for a couple days - but they DO return the call. read more

Probably the biggest landscaper in Maricopa so I gave him a try to work on some landscaping ideas. Ryan is a cool guy and full of all kinds of ideas on what to do to give you an amazing yard. The quality of work was great and him and his crew always showed up for us when we had an appt. Now the downside is he is super pricey and getting a hold of him is tough and usually takes at least a day or two to hear back. If his prices were a bit more affordable I'd use his company all the time. read more

I recieved a referral from my mother in law, so thought it was a no brainer. he was supposed to come clear my new yard of some real bad weeds. They came out and sprayed and said they would be back in 3 weeks. i thought the timing was a little strange, but....what do i know? after 3 weeks we called and asked when they were coming out. he said that thurs. i came home thurs afternoon and the job was half finished. i called/texted/left msgs for several hours before i got any response . the response was that they would be back the next day to finish. I was working in my garage fri morning and saw his distinct truck come into my culdesac TWICE and turn around. I thought that was real strange. At about noon i decided to call and find out where they were. After several hours they finally called my landlord and said that they had to spray again because the weeds were too strong and there were still alot of them alive. And he would be back next thurs. That was an absolute lie. they are all dead and have been for weeks. and if that was, in fact, true then why did he say he would be back on friday? And when did they spray for the second time? and why does he only have to wait a week this time? He must not need the business or the money. Im waiting to see what kind of excuse they will have next thurs. i will update then. read more

When we moved to Maricopa from the state of Washington we quickly realized that having a yard in the desert just isn't the same as back home! We needed help, but our desire was to find a landscaper who would be willing to teach and advise us as well as do work for us. We finally settled on calling AZ-Rys, after reading several landscaper ads. From the start Ryan was more than willing to work with us. It has been exactly what we were looking for! We were very unfamiliar with the plants here, the seasons, the hot summers. We're into our fourth year now of working with AZ-Rys. Initially we hired them to help us figure out what to do as summer turned to fall, and then to do our spring pruning etc, but through his guidance we're doing more and more for ourselves. He has been so willing to advise us on pruning, fertilizing and bug control, our lawn, changing the settings for watering, and any yard questions. It has been a wonderful balance of being able to do some of the work ourselves, and hiring he and his crew to do what would be too much for us. Ryan has solved many yard problems for us, such as making changes in our watering system to help our pine trees survive the summer heat and our growing citrus trees to get the water they need, supporting a tree that was knocked over several times during the monsoon season, putting in additional backyard plants, helping us figure out a plan for some front yard changes after listening to our thoughts and ideas.... He can tackle pretty much any situation you have. We've discussed providing a shade cover for our AC unit, for example. He is not pushy, but his services are available for probably any yard situation you can come up with. Ryan guarantees his work, and is honest and efficient. I believe his prices are competitive. He does have a good working relationship with other local businesses such as Leaf and Feather plant nursery and our local ACE hardware. He has a passion for what he does. We've been so thankful to have his expertise and he has helped us save our yard as well as making it more and more beautiful. Ryan has always gotten back to me when I've contacted him via email, usually in the next day two, or following the weekend. If you have any problems, he is willing to discuss them and will do his part to be responsible. read more
