When James installed our Midiron sod, he did no prep work whatsoever. He laid it directly over…read morebumpy, rocky, uneven soil without grading or leveling anything. Pieces were overlapping, with huge gaps everywhere. I ended up spending hours outside with scissors trimming overlapping edges and filling in the bare spots myself. Now I have to water more often than I should need to and even then it struggles. The lawn is so uneven that some areas pool with water while others dry out. When I voiced concerns about the lumpy install, James brushed it off and said, "No one else has ever been concerned about the lawn being level." As if expecting level ground after spending thousands makes me high-maintenance. The sprinkler system was just as poorly done -- only a few pop-ups, most of which spray the house or the fence. None are flush with the ground, and coverage is totally inadequate. Bottom line: You could save a lot of money by hiring the neighbors kids and get the same quality and craftsmanship, maybe even better.
