I hired BioTex Foam to install spray foam insulation above my garage attic. I researched the…read moreindustry and product extensively. Proper installation is very important for spray foam. BioTex was the most expensive but they had a great sales pitch about how good they were, how experienced their crew was and many other reasons to justify a premium price for their services. This was all a sham. BioTex's list of failings is long. They started the job late. The superintendent left the job early to start his long weekend (labor day). The workers then performed the wrong job and took most of the insulation out of my house, instead of only the garage attic as per the contract. The owner then refused to make a reasonable effort to resolve the problem his employees created. The following is a list of BioTex's repeated failures and lack of customer service. 1. They were a day late starting the project. 2. We had company coming to stay with us for labor day so I asked to wait until after the long weekend to start the project. They assured me they would finish before the weekend. (My girlfriend is still upset about guests having to sleep on the floor because the spare bedroom was full of attic storage items moved for the work.) 3. They removed most of the blown in insulation from my entire house. My AC has been working overtime for 10 days now trying to cool a house without insulation in the Central Texas summer. It will likely be several more days before I can get the insulation replaced. 4. They attempted to pressure me into a rapid decision to accept a questionable repair by an unknown third party. 5. When I didn't immediately accept their initial proposal, they then refused to address the problem in a timely manner. The owner, Jared Amon, again attempted to pressure and intimidate into accepting a resolution that was most favorable to him. 6. Jared Amon never even came to my house to see the mess his crew caused. Yet he continued to insist on getting a full price payment for the job, even though it was going to be completed 3 weeks late and after causing a significant inconvenience to me and my family. He refused to even acknowledge the extra cost of the electricity needed to cool a house without insulation. 7. I finally had to fire BioTex. I have to coordinate the project to get new installation installed to fix their mistake. Jared Amon is now even refusing to pay to replace the insulation his crew took out of my house. He's even trying to bill me for the installation removed. Can't wait to see him try and explain that in court. Thank you for taking the time to read my review, Jeff G. Georgetown, TX

The installation crew was just as impressive--professional, punctual, respectful of my home, and they completed the work without any issues or damage. Overall, this was by far the best experience I had out of the companies I evaluated. Highly recommend Cooler Green Solutions if you want the job done right.

He then checked the other unit and had that one fixed in short order with another part. I would highly recommend his service to anyone. I am shocked at the level of service he gave us and will never call anyone else for AC Service. I wish I could say it better. He was just great.

DO NOT RECOMMEND! I was a loyal, fully paying customer of…read moreGreen Leaf for over a year and a half, and my experience was defined by poor workmanship, broken promises, and a management team that ultimately let my warranty expire rather than help me use it. My issues started in April 2024 with a faulty tankless water heater installation, one of their own technicians later told me the crew had failed to install all required parts. That crew was subsequently laid off. Water was dripping from the exterior pipe and pushing into the attic. After significant back-and-forth, the symptoms were addressed, but the root installation failures were never formally resolved. During my Fall 2025 HVAC tune-up, a technician identified that the supply plenum from my original 2021 HVAC installation was undersized and improperly installed, something never flagged in any prior Green Leaf service visit. I followed up by email requesting next steps and never received a response. A year later, they were quoting me over $4,000 to fix an installation error that their own team had been servicing around for years without disclosing. The most serious issue involved my HVAC coil. In Spring 2026, my refrigerant was found to be low. Rather than immediately discussing a potential warranty claim on the coil, which would have been the right call, Green Leaf charged me for a refrigerant refill and pushed a $300 diagnostic fee. After weeks of back-and-forth, a UV dye test confirmed a visible leak at the top of the indoor coil. By then, Green Leaf had already terminated the business relationship and refused further service. At no point did anyone at Green Leaf ever mention that a coil replacement might be covered under warranty. They collected their charges, ran the clock out with delayed diagnostics, and walked away once the leak was confirmed. The one genuine bright spot was former Office Manager Michelle Lewis, who was consistently professional and communicative. The contrast between her service and what I experienced from General Manager Thos Graham, who shifted terms between emails and ended the relationship when I asked reasonable clarifying questions, was significant. I paid every invoice in full, renewed my membership, and gave Green Leaf every opportunity to make things right. What I got in return was a company that prioritized its billing over my best interests. Find a different HVAC and plumbing company!
