Her services are outstanding, her work is thorough and impeccable, and she is honest and clear with her suggestions. She is always punctual and caring. I can't think of anything I don't love about her work and personality.

Picked him because he's located nearby close to the new Costco and Royal Farms. Excellent doctor, great personality. He's very into natural healthful things: I saw bottles of Tom's of Maine mouthwash, for instance, among other things you'd find at Whole Foods or Trader Joes. He checks for overall health, not just oral health. Your body is a whole system. Me being Chinese, this thrilled me to hear that he works this way. He even checked my tongue as an indication of my health (which is a Chinese technique). His assistants and receptionists are all personable and friendly, not cranky old women. My second appt was this past summer and amazingly they remembered alot about me and what we talked about from our first meeting; shows they pay attention and not just chit-chat idly.

The other place was just looking for money, and Dr. Blank was honest and ethical and told me that if a dentist ever tells me I need those teeth filled, to tell them no, as it is just a discoloration of sorts, and my tooth is perfectly healthy. How about that for trust-worthy! And I also dig his holistic view of things. He's very open and welcoming, down to earth and easy to talk to.

We talked at length about different processes, and he referred me to an oral surgeon, Dr Richard Nessif, for further evaluation. In the meantime, we began the process of impressions, measurements and models. This process took 6 months with many appointments to get everything just right. At each appointment, which was usually a minimum of 45 minutes, I felt like I was his only patient. He never left me sitting by myself, waiting for his return. And if he had to step out of the room, his assistant was there in case I needed anything. He took his time, never rushing, to make sure every aspect of the appliances were perfect. On the day of delivery it was obvious Dr Katkow is an expert in his field. The implants fit perfectly. His precise measurements have ensured a perfect fit and a very happy patient! Along with an outstanding experience I had with Dr. Katkow, his office staff should also be mentioned. They are friendly, welcoming, professional and helpful in making sure you get the appointments that fit your schedule. They are masters of scheduling since most appointment wait times are less than 3 minutes in the waiting room. If you need a complicated procedure, this is the doctor you want to visit. In every way, it was an outstanding experience.

Not only did they do the tongue check for oral cancer but they also have this other tool that shines some sort of purple light in your mouth and if there's any lesions or signs of oral cancer, it makes it shine green. She not only checked inside my mouth but felt around my neck and jawline as well for lymph nodes, muscles, and bones. They performed my cleaning and did a routine X-ray. The doctor is very thorough. I've been wanting to get braces again to fix my underbite and I had also seen that they have services for TMJ pain, which I was told I had, so I brought that up during my visit. The doctor checked my mouth, and for the first time ever, said that I don't have TMJ, but that my bottom jaw just didn't grow when it was supposed to leaving me with both an underbite and jaw pain and popping that isn't from TMJ, but from a lower jaw that is just too small. She referred me to an oral surgeon and said that my teeth are actually pretty straight so braces wouldn't be a good option for me, but I would have to have an oral surgery done to fix the lower jaw if I wanted to fix the underbite. The office is brand new, very clean and up to date. They offered accommodations before my appointment like earplugs, dark sunglasses for the bright light, and something else that I can't remember. I really appreciate this and went with the dark sunglasses. They have two TVs for you to watch something while you're getting your teeth cleaned, one on the wall and one on the ceiling. I watched Brooklyn 99 during my cleaning. They also have a seating area and mini fridge stocked with drinks. I took home a seltzer. I love that my new dentist is literally on my street.
