I haven't been THIS excited to RAVE about a business in months and I'd have NEVVVVEEERRR imagined in a million years that one of my top 2021 finds would be a visit to the dentist's office. I had been looking for a new dental practice for what felt like an eternity after our last one went from being amazing... to being amazingly terrible... to being entirely out of business. Yelp Loveys?!?!??! LISTEN UP!!! Dr. Mizrachi and his team are HEAVEN SEEEENNNTT!!!! I'm talking GOLDEN!!! FIVE STARS, 10's across the board, PER...FEC... TION! My ggf referred me to this office and recommended I request a cleaning with Diana, the hygienist. I have the pain tolerance of the average toddler and get anxiety like I'm jumping off a plane about dentist appointments, but Diana's cleaning was thee very best in my lifetime, indisputably. I have no idea how she was able to be so thorough and get these teeth so sparkly clean with a touch that was as light as a feather. I literally ENJOYED my cleaning with her, as she was incredibly personable and kind while also informative with the patience and bedside manner of a saint. I left her chair looking forward to my next cleaning in the Fall. Speaking of next cleaning, this office was a dream to book and engage with for mine and Hub's initial and our follow up appointments, which was largely due to Beth the amazing head of their front office. Beth provided me one of the most professional, warm, welcoming, proactive, and organized experiences I've had from a medical office's front desk team in yeeeeaaaaarrsss. This is not one of those places that makes it cumbersome and frustrating to handle anything administrative, nor did we experience any wait time to see the hygienist or dentist upon arrival to appointments. Once again, this is a testament to Dr. Mizrachi and his team's work ethic, organization & time management, and their valuing patients' time which many medical offices can be inconsiderate about. I have many friends and family members that have expressed a fear for visiting a dentist's office during this pandemic, but I cannot express enough how pristinely clean and sanitary this office appeared with social distancing and mask wearing being enforced for the patients and entire staff. Something I thought was very neat was them messaging me to ask that I call them upon my arrival so they could instruct me when to come in and then when it was time for my appointments, the ONLY people I was anywhere near within 6 feet of were ones that were conducting my dental services. They managed to make me feel very safe and at ease and I appreciated the extensive communication about exactly what was happening during my cleaning and initial examination with Diana & Dr. Mizrachi as well as at my follow-up visit with Dr. Mizrachi & Carrie the hygienist who deserves an award for her bedside manner. The three of them were so gentle with me throughout my visits that I did not have to ask them to stop even once nor did I experience any bleeding or inflammation during or after my services which is contrary to my previous experiences with other dentists' offices. I loved listening to music, looking at the cherry blossom trees outside their floor to ceiling windows, and hearing Dr. Mizrachi's friendly and funny charm while I was in his chair. If you are looking for a new dental home office that operates with integrity, professionalism, friendliness, and are highly skilled and experienced with gentle dentistry, do yourself a favor and reach out to my new dental home and let Beth get you booked to see Diana or Carrie that are both amazing. As with many changes, this one brought both anxiety and apprehension. I was uncertain if I would like the new dentists or how they approached dentistry. I was further stressed by what I would be forced to do if it turned out this change was not one that I could withstand. My stress levels were soon found to be unjustified. While I have had several visits with Dr. Chen, most of my time the past five years has been spent under the care of Dr. Miller. Therefore, this review will focus primarily on him. However, it should be noted that my comments pertain equally to everyone in this practice. After several routine visits for cleanings, it became necessary for me to have a crown which involves needles to numb the area. I have had a lifelong dislike of needles of any kind and for any reason. When I arrived for my procedure a bit early, I crossed paths with Dr. Miller and when he asked how I was, I told him I was stressed about the need for him to numb my mouth using needles. When he heard that, he stopped mid stride and told me that he did not want me to stress while waiting. He led me to the chair and told me he was exceptional with needles and had even numbed himself. I was skeptical. He gave me the first needle as quickly as possible and I very quickly learned that he was not exaggerating. I have never had an experience that was so pain free. This experience, as well as those that have followed have eliminated my fear of needles and injections. Over the years, I have come to trust, respect and admire Dr. Miller's dedication to his craft, as well as his compassion towards his patients. He takes the time to explain what he is doing and why. He listens to my concerns and he answers my questions. He speaks to me versus at me. During a procedure, he will not only tell me where he is in the process but will stop and ask me if I am okay or if I need a break. Dr. Miller is young. Very young! He is younger than my children. He is also up to date on the latest techniques and technology. The practice puts patient care ahead of profit. The office is state of the art. The visits are never rushed. The entire staff is professional, respectful and courteous. Whenever I have had any procedure performed, other than routine cleanings, Dr. Miller or a member of his team has called me to check on my recovery and ask if I need anything. When my wife had some extensive work done recently and had a problem, I called the office after hours and left a message detailing the issue. Within minutes, Dr. Miller called to obtain more details and ask if she needed to be seen immediately or could she wait until the next morning. Dr. Miller is incredibly passionate about his work and compassionate about his patients. He has taken dentistry and raised it to an art form. This change has had a very happy outcome. Thank you!!
