I was looking for a dental practice closer to home and…read moremade an appointment for a routine cleaning - I'm usually really good about going every 6 months but due to another medical condition I'd been dealing with I hadn't been able to make the time for a checkup in close to 2 years. I've never had any major challenges, always very straightforward visits with the occasional issues. I appreciated the office accommodating my availability. I completed my paperwork in advance, arrived early for my appt and checked in , only to have 4 people come in after me be seen first. I thought it was really odd that the front desk called my cell phone looking for me while I was in the small waiting room but wrote it off. I was finally taken back 25 mins after my appt time. I was told a full new set of x-rays was needed which made sense, but was then informed it was 28 different photos. This felt really high to me but didn't question it; aside from the x-rat exposure it was also quite painful to have to repeatedly bite down on the positioned for the photos. A few minutes in a piece of the equipment fell off the machine onto me; the hygienist reattached it without apologizing. Before the dentist came I was informed that I could purchase add-ons that insurance doesn't cover, like fluoride and numbing cream. The latter should have been my cue to get up and leave. I'd never heard of such a thing in taking myself and my children to the dentist for many years. I declined. The male dentist was personable but was very aggressive in his technique. I'd never seen / tasted so much blood during a routine cleaning, which he claimed was due to the long time in between cleanings and/or some weakening of gums from my medical condition. I've got a pretty high threshold for pain but it reached a point where I finally had to cry out for him to stop. He quickly started shouting out an extensive list of cavaties, stains, and other damage - including damage to all four wisdom teeth that could potentially be "monitored" instead of instantly removed. When the exam was over I was given an itemized list of fillings / treatments / follow ups and the estimated bill to match and asked to immediately sign it. Normally I'm used to concluding an appt with a bit more guidance, kindness, and even a new toothbrush. This was such a bizarre and painful experience and it felt like I was being pushed into work that I suspect I don't need. I won't be back and will go elsewhere for another look. I'm just thankful that I endured this and not one of my children. I deeply regret not having checked out other reviews before giving this practice a try.

Well Dr. Goitom makes sure her office is the complete opposite of LSOH! I went it with a slight issue and Helen, the hygienist, was great at keeping me calm and explaining everything as went through. Dr. Goitom made sure I felt no pain throughout the process and felt completely comfortable with everything. I am honestly looking forward to going back to them which NEVER happens with me. The office decor is really cute, high tech and they have inspirational quotes in each room which are nice to read while trying to keep yourself busy. That said, I've now had a temporary crown for about three weeks. When I came in for my permanent crown, I was told it was slightly off and needed to be remade. I understand that these things can happen, but being told I now have to wait another two weeks--because the crown is made off-site--is very frustrating. In 2026, when turnaround times for most services are incredibly fast, waiting over a month total for a dental crown feels excessive. I appreciate the quality control, but the timeline has been inconvenient. Fortunately, I have the option to explore alternative solutions, but I hope the process can be improved for future patients.
