I have always had a fear of dentist because of past experiences which were very painful. I researched top dentist in Maryland and I came across Dr. Kuzmak, Towson View Dental Care and decided to give them a call and make an appointment. I was very nervous about the visit because I had two broken teeth with only the roots left in my gums. Upon my arrival I was meant by a warm and welcoming staff. Dr. Kuzmack himself came out to the waiting area to greet me and to offer me a bottle of water. That definitely helped take the edge off. He explained everything to me before he began the procedure. I always brace myself for the initial needle stick and deep burning that follows from the Novocaine... However to my surprise Dr. Kuzmack pulls out a device that he uses in conjunction with the needles that massages your gums during injection which helped to alleviate any pain! I was totally taken back that I did not feel ANY pain the entire procedure. No pain from the needle or the root extraction. Took all my details and in the end asked me if I was having any problems, when I told her yes, she tells me they don't have anything available until mid-December. When I told her she should have asked me that first we could have saved us some time, she's like you should have told me that first. Seriously? That was really rude. On a side note, before calling her I tried to make an online appointment on their site and after filling out the form the site breaks and throws an error. Time wasted there too. I understand technical problems happen but when you got a human receptionist with an attitude like that, there's something wrong. Hope this saves people some time.

I asked the white receptionist for information about how to do that, and she patronized me. She ignored everything I had to say. Instead, she talked about discounts on dental treatment and about purchasing dental insurance through my employer. A second white lady had to step in. She also was useless in explaining how to get dental insurance. I had a simple question: How do I get dental insurance? This company failed to answer that, and instead fed me lies. I walked away disappointed because I had enough of their wasting my time.

The dental staff answered all my questions and provided feedback on my first visit with them. The quality of care was good and I have no complaints thus far. Did have to pay $29 for fluoride because my insurance did not cover it. They told me upfront what my cost would be if I decided to get it. No other cost outside of that due to my insurance coverage. Follow up in 6 months and we will see how that goes. I did not have any rude or uncomfortable experience with my visit.

I scheduled, and due to my own fault, I missed the appointment. I called the next day after realizing it, and was met with the MOST rude office manager. She told me that I was blocked from making a new appointment because I missed my "new patient" appointment. I told her I'd been in once before and she said b/c it was an EMERGENCY appointment that I was still considered "new" (mind you this isn't my primary dentist but I was thinking of switching over) so they basically BANNED me for accidentally mixing up the date of my appointment. I went in the office to personally speak with someone in charge and to my surprise, the office manager didn't give the same energy she had over the phone once I dropped in- she then offered to speak with someone to see if I "could get rescheduled" which I later found out SHE could've easily done the reschedule. I don't know what type of games this office is playing, and everytime I've been in there they are empty- they should want the business. I called to the Towson office was promised a call back by the owners and that NEVER happened- that was a week ago. So, I'd say take your business elsewhere if you can.

Both said, there is nothing there and I even went so far as to have a root canal on another tooth which one doctor thought caused the pain. Dr. Whitecar had state of the art equipment and easily identified a significant crack, albeit difficult to see with lesser equipment. I was scheduled for a procedure within days of the initial visit. The pain finally resolved. The staff was amazing as well and accommodated my initial visit within a day of my call. I highly recommend this practice.

Daniel set up a follow up appointment for today @ 8AM. I just left that appointment, and I could not be any more disappointed. First, the women there were VERY unprofessional. They were casually talking about boyfriends and laughing. Second, a random employee (Nicki) was dismissive. I told Nicki that I wished to speak to Daniel. Nicki ignored me and tried to reach Daniel herself because she was having a hard time finding the plan I had already discussed w/Daniel. When Nicki could not find the "Fixed Installment Plan" I had discussed with Daniel, she profusely applogized. Confused and embarassed, I left and lied about coming back the next day. I wasted time going to an 8AM appointment with $279 that I worked hard to have-only to find out that my efforts were in vain.
