I literally had the best experience at a dentist EVER m...ANYWHERE at Dental Designs of Maryland. Aesthetically, the office is beautiful. It's in a great location with free parking. The front desk staff was amazing and very welcoming. Even when you leave, they give you a full breakdown of what to expect pricewise for any future visits. I think that would really help people budget for out-of-pocket cost at the dentist, which we all know can be unexpected, excessive, and random. Dr. Maher literally has the best personality ever. But the overall vibe of the office and the staff makes you feel so comfortable and relaxed. They have screens on the ceilings so as you're being treated, you're able to see what's going on real time (if you want to). They really take the time to listen to you and understand your needs as well as explain to you what's going on and fully break down a treatment plan if one is needed. I did not get to personally experience the technology today because I am about 14 weeks pregnant. So no x-rays or anything for me, but from what I can see, they have very high end, state of the art technology for x-rays and imaging. 10/10 I recommend!!!

    Cute little welcome board!

I have been a patient at the White Marsh location since 2017. After moving to Howard County in 2020, I was so excited to hear that a new location was being built closer to me. The new location is trendy with a updated touches throughout the lobby and office. The took all of the best details from the other location and made it even more modern. I was able to complete my COVID-19 questionnaire on my electronically which was a nice time-saver. I had a routine cleaning done with Marietta and Dr. Santos. Dr. Santos was wonderful. As usual, she was receptive to my questions and concerns about my teeth. I am now back in Baltimore County, so I will be going back to the White Marsh location, but I am so happy to see my favorite dental practice expanding throughout Maryland. They are absolutely the future of dentistry!

I went to Columbia Center for Implants & Periodontics at the end of last year and had a very…read moredisappointing experience. I was seen by Dr. Torres, who evaluated me and told me I needed to extract five teeth and replace them with implants and bone grafts. She said she couldn't provide a quote or treatment plan at that visit and instructed me to return in two weeks to see Dr. Jose for his input. She even advised me to cancel a deep cleaning I had already scheduled with my regular dentist so I did, even though I really needed it. Two weeks later, I showed up for my appointment with Dr. Jose. They brought me back, made me wait a long time, and eventually an assistant came in to tell me that Dr. Torres had completely forgotten to inform anyone that I was supposed to see him. The only thing she left at reception was a treatment plan for extracting tooth #19--nothing about the five extractions, grafts, or implants she originally told me I needed. The assistant said Dr. Torres would call me that day to apologize and clarify and she never did. I chose this center because of the glowing reviews, but my experience was the complete opposite. It was unprofessional, disorganized, and a total waste of my time. Time I could have spent getting proper care somewhere else. After this ordeal, I went to The Mugford Center, and the difference was night and day. They were professional, responsible, and actually followed through. I ended up getting all the treatment I needed there without any of the runaround. The thousands of dollars I was prepared to spend at Columbia Center for Implants & Periodontics ultimately went to The Mugford Center instead. A place I recommend 100%.

I was told all was healed and to see my regular dentist for crown measurement in December, 2025. My dentist, after taking an x-ray, informed me that the implant had failed, most likely early on. My dentist and I have requested my records from this office - via email, verbally in person, voicemail and certified mail. Zero response. I returned for assessment in February 2026. X-rays and a CT scan were done. The doctor was abrupt, did not share image results, gave no explanation and stated that an exploratory procedure was needed. I requested a cost estimate for the exploratory procedure, as insurance will not cover a redo. Again, no response. I realize that implants can fail, but such unprofessional behavior is not acceptable.

Dr. Bonebreak is honest and does not suggest unnecessary treatment. He was also spot on with his estimate for how long my son would need braces; we were so happy that he was in and out of braces within a year and a half. The staff is friendly and organized so that every visit is on time and without long wait periods. You feel comfortable asking questions and get clear, unhurried responses. Flagship Orthodontics also shows up for the community by sponsoring family events, school functions, and local sports teams. I cannot recommend this practice more highly!

From the appointment making process, to them reaching out on a Saturday to reschedule due to an emergency. I could tell this place was professional from top to bottom. I met Dr. Bonebreak and was blown away by not only his professionalism but how comfortable he made me feel. I am also very observant, this man has manners. I am big on always saying thank you to those around you! I noticed he always thanks his staff and is professional with them but you can tell he is kind. The young lady who assisted me with my Invisalign today was very knowledgeable, I was nervous about getting them. A little more so when I realized I had to wear them on the bottom and the top to fix the lowers. She put all that to rest for me. Walked me through maintaining them, and answered my 56 questions. I also noticed how thorough Dr. Bonebreak was with his notes on my teeth. Dr. Bonebreak wrote so much to ensure he was giving the best possible service. This makes me happy since I am spending a little over 6k to essentially make my teeth perfect. I wish this was place I had taken my daughter to, but shoulda , coulda, woulda :( I can't say enough great things about this place ! Professionalism goes such a long way. I am glad I am getting my teeth fixed by Dr. Bonebreak. It is also pretty cool to tell people my orthodontists name is Bonbreak :)

I specifically chose this office because I was told when scheduling that nitrous oxide (laughing…read moregas) would be available and used. That was a major factor for me. When I arrived, I was told they either wouldn't use it or "most likely" wouldn't be able to. That kind of last-minute change is not a small detail--it completely changes the experience for patients who rely on it. What concerned me more was the push toward procedures that didn't seem necessary. I was referred to an oral surgeon to remove a peg tooth that does not need to be removed, even after I clearly said I wasn't interested. It was still put on the referral anyway. I was also told I needed multiple crowns, but another dentist later confirmed those were not necessary. There were additional treatments presented in a way that made them seem required, which didn't sit right with me. Another issue was transparency. I was not walked through my x-rays or shown where any of these supposed problems were. Patients should absolutely insist on seeing and understanding their imaging before agreeing to treatment. There were also inconsistencies with insurance information. I was told my insurance wouldn't cover panoramic x-rays, but another dentist had no issue getting them covered. After my visit, I noticed similar concerns mentioned in other reviews, which unfortunately aligns with what I experienced. Between the inconsistent communication and questionable treatment recommendations, I left feeling very uneasy. I would strongly encourage anyone considering treatment here to get a second opinion before moving forward.

Every time I have gone in, I am either solicited for an up-sell for a procedure - that they claim they can or have or will do, OR they send you out for a procedure because the dentist isn't comfortable. What IS actually done at this place? There always seems to be an excuse and I am so over this practice that I will go OUT of my way, even welcome a lengthier drive. There are a few new practices within a 6 mile radius, barely an inconvenience, but I'd happily drive 20 miles to avoid another WASTED day out of my life and sick days from work seeking dental work at this location. Moreover, they have the nerve to have me on a call & email list to remind me of annual services or that they haven't seen me in awhile, smh. Officially going on a block list. If I could, this ranting review would be laced with curse words. Seriously, WASTE OF TIME..always some bs excuse as to why they can't or are uncomfortable with [INSERT WHATEVER PROCEDURE HERE IT COULD LITERALLY BE ANYTHING].-other than a cleaning I suppose, so not "anything". This practice at this location can seriously DO ONE. Been waiting to use that expression, I feel like I nailed it.
